Essential Tool for Seamless Collaboration and Productivity

Comments: My overall experience with Microsoft 365 has been excellent. It’s a reliable, feature-rich platform that streamlines collaboration and productivity, despite minor syncing issues.

Pros:

The seamless integration of apps like Word, Excel, and Teams, combined with cloud accessibility through OneDrive, makes collaboration and productivity effortless.

Cons:

The subscription pricing model can be expensive for smaller teams, and occasional syncing issues may disrupt workflows.

Microsoft 365 - Great for 261

Comments: 365 was a mainstay in my office work for 6 years. It worked well and utilized the cloud wonderfully, but it stagnated over time. Outside of excel, it seemed as though other programs offered better solutions.

Pros:

We initially chose this as it was a cloud-based solution and it was the standard. We liked the compatibility with legacy files, the affordability, the storage, and the ease of working with the system.

Cons:

It had some clunky elements and eventually, the products just didn't innovate enough.

Would use Google Workspace instead

Comments: I no longer use Microsoft 365 after I switched to Google Workspace.

Pros:

Microsoft 365 inherited all its assets from Microsoft Office so over 99% of people who work with an excel sheet or a word file are still using it. However, Microsoft 365 is considered a lot more expensive than some of its competitors like Google Workspace.

Cons:

Too expensive and you are also advised to install the software on your computer to achieve a good level of performance. Unlike Google Workspace which is entirely cloud-based, it is much easier to run with older computers and easily accessible.

Solid Suite with Room for Improvement on macOS

Comments: Overall, while I appreciate the Microsoft Ecosystem for its familiarity and consistency, the integration issues and limited features on macOS have made it challenging to use effectively. The browser interface often provides a more seamless experience than the desktop apps, but I hope future updates will address these discrepancies and enhance the overall functionality for Mac users.

Pros:

The Microsoft Ecosystem has been in my life since Windows XP. I love that the main office suite of apps have remained consistent throughout all of these years, with incremental and easy to adapt changes made with each iteration.

Cons:

The easiest way for me to collaborate on documents, spreadsheets, and in Outlook has been to use the browser interface, which has been surprisingly great, despite its limited features. There are discrepancies between the features available in the browser version versus the Outlook app; for instance, there is no “duplicate” feature for calendar events in the app, but the option is available in the browser. I know there are some features in the Word and Excel app for Windows that are not available for macOS as well (including in the browser version of Microsoft 365). I know there are some features in the Word and Excel app for WIndows that are not available for macOS as well (this includes the browser version of Microsoft 365). It would be really nice to be able to use Python in Excel on MacOS. Integrating Microsoft 365 with plug-ins and extensions can be cumbersome. For example, while apps like Carepatron allow for some integration (only the Calendar is available in the app, whereas Google Calendar, Gmail, and Zoom — not Teams — can be connected), other tools like Notion (where the Notion Calendar syncs with Google Calendar but not with Outlook) highlight the limitations of Microsoft 365’s compatibility and ease of use.

Comments: Overall, my experience with Microsoft 365 has been great. It's easy to use, keeps everything organized, and is perfect for collaboration.

Pros:

I like how Microsoft 365 keeps everything in one place from Word, Excel, Teams and makes it easy to access and collaborate on documents from anywhere.

Cons:

I find the occasional updates and changes to the interface a bit disruptive.

The best of the Microsoft 365 products

Comments: I've been using the Microsoft 365 products to work with multiple projects and files on the cloud.

Pros:

Its biggest advantage is accessibility, as it allows users to work collaboratively in real time from any device. Additionally, regular updates and robust security features make it a reliable choice for businesses

Cons:

It can be expensive for small organizations, and its subscription-based model requires ongoing payments. Some users also find it complex to navigate due to the abundance of features, which may require training for effective utilization.

A great platform for the busy professional

Comments: Overall, I have had a positive experience with 365. The constant updates to make things easier to use are definitely appreciated, and I will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Pros:

I like the ease of access and the ability to have multiple applications synced and accessible through one platform.

Cons:

There are a few hiccups with integration, especially with co-pilot; however, once you go through the individual apps' training, things become much easier to navigate.

Tools to Help You Work Better Together

Pros:

I adore Dynamics 365's smooth integration with other Microsoft products, which makes managing client interactions and corporate activities in one location simple. Additionally, the customization options are excellent, enabling organizations to adapt it to their unique requirements.

Cons:

I haven't encountered any significant issues with Dynamics 365. It's a comprehensive solution, however novice users may find it a little challenging to set up.

My experience with Microsoft 365

Comments: Overall, my experience with Microsoft 365 has been good. It is indeed great software for corporate use.

Pros:

It integrates all the essential software tools for effective organization management providing features such as document management, communication, planning and scheduling, and cloud storage.

Cons:

With so many features and apps, sometimes it feels overwhelming and complicated, especially for basic tasks.

Microsoft 365 is a great productivity solution

Comments: Generally my experience has been very good, both as a user and as a service provider deploying the solution for end users.

Pros:

Availability- wherever I am, I can do an install for a user without having to search for versions of installers

Cons:

Service outages for online components like Exchange Online or OneDrive

A Convert to Microsoft 365 for File Storage

Comments: I was suspicious at its effectiveness at first. But now I've used it for roughly 5 years and I am glad for having made the switch.

Pros:

As the title infers, the file storage is fantastic. I used to store files on Dropbox, and while I maintain an account, I don't use it much. Now, I'm more of a fan of Microsoft 365.

Cons:

It does cost some money to retain a substantial amount of storage (which totally makes business sense). And I personally do like other software for graphic design (Canva). But it's still a worthwhile software to be sure, and very good for businesses.

Microsoft 365 a good all rounder software

Comments: A great all rounder piece of software that is sophisticated enough for data analysis whilst being great for everyday documents. The various programmes available within the package and the templates available free to download are great

Pros:

Compared to the like of rival companies like G-Suite Microsoft really delivers with their superior GUI and easy of use, the layout has been incredibly thought out and is well worth the license fee in my honest opinion

Cons:

The cost is a little steep for each license and can deter companies from choosing this over rivals free options, in time if the price of the package was majorly reduced this may entice others to utilise this software more widely.

Powerful Productivity Anywhere

Comments: I have had a great experience being able to be productive by having the flexibility to use tools on the go and at various locations.

Pros:

I like that I can be productive and have access to powerful tools anywhere there's an internet connection.

Cons:

Sometimes it can get confusing for people to navigate the menus.

The best Productivity suite ever

Comments: Great tool to drastically improve the productivity of every team , All apps integrate well with each other.

Pros:

Great email service, suite of productivity apps like Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Cons:

The licensing is monthly or yearly , no option to buy lifetime subscription with serial keys like the previous versions.

Solid, but losing its competitive advantage

Comments: My overall relationship with Microsoft 365 is one of necessity rather than choice - Excel and Word are still so widely used that it's hard to avoid having these programs. And, with all that said, I do find Microsoft 365 to be very reliable software.

Pros:

This package includes the programs we have all grown up using (well, at least those of my generation!) like Work, Excel and PowerPoint.

Cons:

I find Microsoft 365 clunky to use and expensive for what you get - there are so many great alternatives these days, such as Google, with software that does everything you need at a fraction of the price, and without the need to have programs downloaded on your computer (cloud-based).

Must-Have Software!

Comments: My overall experience with Microsoft 365 has been positive. The software is great for single or multiple users. It's a must-have for teachers and students. Instead of having multiple programs installed on your PC, Microsoft 365 gives you everything in one package.

Pros:

I have been using Microsoft 365 for the past 5 or so years. It's a great program that includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and so many more. I like that I'm not required to download each program within 365 on my PC. If you're low on storage space, this is exactly what you need. As long as you have an internet browser, you can access everything Microsoft 365 provides. I also like that you can download 365 on multiple PCs with one account. If you use multiple devices, you don't have to buy a subscription for each one. Microsoft 365 also automatically saves your work in case you lose power or the internet. You can easily start a project on one device and pick right up on another. I like the ability to share your work and allow others to make changes or add to your project. This is great for teachers. If a student is working on an assignment, the teacher can view what they are working on and give them comments in real-time.

Cons:

I have been using Microsoft 365 for a few years now and I have never had any problems. Everything has worked flawlessly.

365 is a prebuilt easy to use home page for casual users.

Comments: MS 365 provides inexperienced users an easy to understand home page that is pre-built to include everything you need. While we use MS SharePoint for more detailed work, I still direct users to 365 as their homebase.

Pros:

365 provides a prebuilt landing page for all Microsoft users. While we primarily use SharePoint pages that have been customized per department, 365 provides each individual users with an easy to navigate home page.

Cons:

While it provides great content, it is not very customizable. We make use of SharePoint to provide our staff with better suited working environments.

Much more than subscription to yoffice software

Comments: MS 365 is a great choice, primarily because it includes Office software which is a standard i.e. something your employees will already have experience with. It offers Planner for projec management, scheduling and other apps so you can basically ditch other external services such as Trello, Calendly, etc for you organisation. Furthermore it has generous space in One Drive per user which is also great. on the other side, shared mailboxes, disc quotas for groups and similar aspects can become a bit tricky to navigate. so you'd be better if you have a member of your team keeping up with the changes to the service regularly to prevent disruptions to your workflows.

Pros:

The suite has everything you need for business, and everything is integrated so your employees can have one place to log in.

Cons:

Microsoft sometimes changes policies and the way certain software operate (Outlook shared mailboxes being a good example) so if you develop a very specific workflow/use case for your organisation, it might stop working, otherwise you should be fine.

Lots of native integrations

Pros:

When you switch to 365, you quickly get to learn that they are not individual products, but a family of products that intertwine with each other, and your data connect and flow seamlessly across. Not only do they integrate natively with other Microsoft products, but there are countless 3rd party integrations. Also, your data and functionality are available regardless of platform and in real-time. On top of that, their support is top-notch notch from discovery to implementation to deployment to post-production help. They have a rich product roadmap that constantly provides new features along with fixes.

Cons:

Because of the rich feature landscape, you can easily miss out on some very powerful tools and functionality unless you read documentation or get to learn from others. It's often not easy or impossible to bubble up the niche features and make them available for frequent use. Certain workflows can't be automated or made available through shortcuts.

Comments: I use multiple parts of the orifice on a daily basis both in work and in my personal life

Pros:

Microsoft 365 - everything you need

Comments: Microsoft 365 offers a comprehensive set of apps for our office, its integration with OneDrive and SharePoint gives us great collaboration options for increased productivity and save some time.

Pros:

The best feature for us is the cloud integration as it offers secure storage for our documents and allows us to collaborate faster and better. The synchronization between the devices is very fast, almost instantly, ensuring uninterrupted workflows between us. Also Microsoft 365 apps are available on all devices, Windows, macOS, smartphones and even web-based.

Cons:

Mobiles apps are not for productivity as is a little hard work on, they are only for viewing purpose only.

The Microsoft Suite

Pros:

It has all one organization can need in one place. Many tools such as Teams, sharepoint, spreadsheets, power BI, are deeply interconnected and some features can be used only in combination. Great and deep permission settings, per each environment as well.

Cons:

The organization would have to adhere to Microsoft way of life, with some IT compromises along the way. Upkeep of the system depends on internal capacity and proper initial setup is valuable for continuous hassle-free living. Updates are sudden and cannot be skipped, deployments are not the quickest.
