The best antispam that I've used.

Comments: Protection against spam and customizable and scalable viruses. Automatic updates in spam software. Scanning incoming and outgoing mail. Bayesian analysis by user, whitelists, blacklists, rules and quarantines. Software or device spam blocking options, and the best, its simple administration.

Comments: I was a Canit PRO user from Early on, it became clear it was years ahead of its time!

Pros:

The granularity of the rules is Second to NONE! the incredibly low false positive rate. the ability of users to improve the filters by "voting" the fact the subsystem could easily be scaled into a cluster. the way it handled gray listing..... By far the greatest system EVER made!

Cons:

There is nothing to not love! I cant think of a single Con other than you cant buy it anymore!

Can-it Pro - maybe it was good in the past but there are more capable solutions available now.

Comments: While we had it in place it was becoming progressively worse at what should be the core functionality of detecting spam. We swapped it out for Mimecast and are much happier now.

Pros:

I liked that it was simple to use, cloud based, and that distribution groups are handled in a sensible manner.

Cons:

The spam detection and attachment sandboxing left a lot to be desired. Users were spending an inordinate amount of time dealing with spam, and as most of them have personal gmail accounts they were getting used to not having this burden.

Pros:

CanIT-Pro is equipped with an impressive feature set and offers excellent scalability for SaaS.

Cons:

Difficult to introduce to new technicians, the software has a steep learning curve.
