Reviews of BPAQuality365
BPA Solutions fixed many of our criteria and fits exactly to ABAX vision “Simply Connected”!
Comments: Nice and easy to configure after few hours training if you already know SharePoint at least a bit. Easy to tailor for company preferences. Nice pace of new functions released.
Pros:
ABAX decided to search for a SharePoint based solution, thinking it would be easy to build, maintain and share as we prefer many MS Office solutions already. Quality & Risk module combines nicely our requirements being compliant for all our three ISO standard requirements, it was easy to build, use, modify and share. BPA Solutions’ way of organizing set up sessions is really good. Something is done in prior by them, BPA Solutions show how to modify, I add and configure by myself utilizing video recording of our meeting and advise when I’m done and can move on to next module or modify current. If you know some SharePoint, configuring modern app is child's play!
Cons:
I’d advise new customers to have a fully dedicated position for implementation and many support hours purchased in order to keep the speed. I miss additional video tutorials, inspiration from other companies how they resolved f.ex. some ISO requirements and their experience of best practices. Also integrated process drawing would be beneficial, though PowerPoint slides work OK at the moment.
BPAQuality365 is a value-for-money eQMS
Comments: The support in setting up and getting BPAQuality365 running was invaluable from the BPA team and it is really easy to use.
Pros:
The fact that BPAQuality365 is built on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint makes this a useful and integrated tool. The use of Automated Workflows adds significant power to the modules within the software.
Cons:
Without the associated Automated Workflows, the power of BPAQuality365 cannot be accessed and this needs to be impressed on new clients.
Alternatives Considered: Ideagen Coruson, Ideagen Quality Management and Qualio
Reasons for Switching to BPAQuality365: Cost
Poor choice for a QMS
Pros:
Not much, It's too 'BPA' centric and not process oriented.
Cons:
Slow. Screen layout is awful. GUI functionality is irrational. We are having to develop the software for BPA, it didn't come ready to use. Can only attach one file at a time. Can not modify files on the fly, they must be removed, edited and then reattached. Can not cut and paste pictures into forms. The forced formatting in text fields wastes tons of space. Automation of system notifications is poor. Does not support our process flows, in fact it is worse they the previous QMS we had. Text entered in to some fields gets erased without warning.
New employees are positively impressed by the good organisation of such a system.
Comments: We are very happy with the achievements done. We successfully accomplished audits with the new system and got a positive appreciation of auditors about the utility to deploy such a system. We were able to show improvements while migrating to this new “automated” environment. We just start to discover the possibilities of such a system and will explore more in the future.
Pros:
We especially like the software that contains all the needed modules for an integrated management system. It’s very agile and it works with the tools we are used to working with (Office 365).
Cons:
The software is agile, which means internal resources are required for configurations.
