When the batteries on the trackers died the app did not notify > > Expensive and disappointing. Two of our trackers stopped tracking for over a year and we were not notified and the company continued to charge us. We think the problem is that the app stopped notifying us or anyone else. Their position is that they don't track the trackers and their initial solution was to refund us a fraction of what was collected. It took multiple emails to get them to understand that auto-charging our credit card without providing any service is theft. Eventually they did refund the full amount and offered additional complimentary services. Subscription is affordable but can be high depending on what you are using it for. > > **Cons**: Big red flag was I was charged while I have the subscription on pause and I was not aware. Do check your credit card statements. I did get a refund after talking to a live agent that was lovely. They claimed that there was a system error that customers got charged when they were not supposed to but no email communication or heads up. Hard to say that I would have been refunded if I did not initiate and reach out myself. I did get a refund ($3 less than what I paid, don't know why :( ). > > Super difficult to unsubscribe, they don't make it easy. At any given time, we have up to 12 vehicles transporting clients to various appointments, and our transportation team covers an area with at least a 50 mile radius. It is our responsibility to ensure that each client is taken to the correct location, at the correct time, and that no unnecessary or unauthorized stops are made. Spytec GPS has taken the place of at least one employee’s salary because the information that previously required dozens of phone calls and coordination among our office staff, our transportation, and the various agencies to which we are transporting clients. With Spytec, those calls are no longer necessary, and a process that once took several hours now is measured in seconds. > > **Cons**: We have no complaints about Spytec GPS.
