> **Pros**: Right off - I have not switched from surgemail in over 20 yrs - that's how long our company has been using it. We host email services for around 500 users in 25 companies, I could not imagine a better system - FEATURES, like OMG, after 20 yrs I still find more (really), and when a unique situation comes up, sure enough surgemail supports it. Support is AMAZING - my biggest issue with any product and truly a big reason I never thought to switch - great product and OMG do they know their system, and NEVER a delay getting those answers. And the answers are always right on.

And for what they charge - I joke with them they need me to price their system, I actually emailed them last week asking for my annual invoice ... they helped me move my datacenter locations so much I actually wanted to pay their bill to show my appreciation. Deal with them - you'll understand what I mean.

ALL TRUTH\!\!\! Been in IT for over 40 yrs ... I ONLY write reviews for companies/products THAT DESERVE IT\!\!

> **Cons**: Oh, ok, if I have to complain - there are SO MANY settings, which is a key to the amount of control you get, that I do have to ask now and then about one as not every one of them is well documented. Most you click on and you get a description, not all - and I hate driving support crazy asking about a setting but if no docs I'm forced to. Ok, there, I complained about it :)

> I think you get the idea - over 20 yrs on the system hosting various small and medium sized companies all over the world ... if it wasn't as good as it is I'd have found another system. I never had a reason to look - I have great support, that alone is worth it's weight in bitcoins.

> **Pros**: The best features about Surgeamail are its ease of setup and use.  It is a simple HTML based web format for both administration and use.  There is no need for complicated and confusing Linux or Windows Server backend management other than the initial setup.

> **Cons**: The best part of the software is also the least liked part of the software.  While a simple HTML interface is great some users and administrators may find it antiquated and too plain.
> 
> My experience has been great both with the software and the support behind it.  We are not only using it as an email server for users, but also have it integrated with our Broadsoft system as the storage for all voicemails.  With the ease of setup and creation of email users as well as voicemail accounts it makes this software irreplaceable.
