Does what it says on the tin

3.0 last year

Comments: Very little to comment here, which is praise on itself. It just works almost all of the time, without issue.

Pros:

Citrix is easy to use. When off site the workspace can be accessed through a dedicated URL. When on site it can be accessed through a link on the desktop. Once in, just use it like a standard PC.

Cons:

I’m not sure if this is just our companies set up, but it can be occasionally a bit laggy, particularly since we upgraded to the windows 10 version.

Great solution to connect to virtual systems

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: Citrix workspace is good as an interface to connect with virtual systems

Pros:

The dashboard contains all the virtual machines, virtual servers ,virtual desktops linked to your user account. Supports to restart the virtual system using a button click without logging into the machine

Cons:

The session disconnects frequently due to idle time or connection issues

Decent but there's room for improvement

3.0 2 months ago New

Comments: It's decent but there's room for improvement.

Pros:

It's nice to be able to keep the clients environment seperated from my own.

Cons:

I constantly get logged out of the browser session which is really annoying. The connection to the remote session is often quite buggy as well.

A great product for all your VDI requirements

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Citrix workspace allows to easily connect to VDI's and also allows to connect multiple VDI's at once .Its interface allows to track all VDI's allotted to you

Pros:

It stores all information of all the virtual desktops (VDI)allotted to my account and allows to connect to them securely. Recently switched to cloud citrix workspace and the interface has improved a lot and is very intuitive and fast compared to the desktop version

Cons:

Some times it doesent display all the VDI's alloted to your account a refresh needs to be manually done to reflect all the active VDI's .

Honest Citrix Feedback

4.0 last month New

Comments: It's not the worst product, and I'm able to still get the job done, but I still struggle with the lack of efficiency.

Pros:

I find it extremely helpful that Citrix allows me to have a workspace to perform database needs in a remote environment.

Cons:

I think Citrix is honestly very clunky, and slow. It seems to be a struggle to open the link sometimes, and also inefficiently runs in the background. I don't think it's the most user friendly of systems.

Citric Workspace: Best Desktop Remote Accessing Tool

4.0 4 months ago

Comments: The overall experience is quite good and it provide a seamless experience of working and accessing the desktop remotely for most of the applications.

Pros:

The best things which I like about Citrix Workspace is its ability to access a computer remotely for a long session time which allows companies to provide remote working opportunities to its employees.

Cons:

Some of the apps like Microsoft Teams doesn't work properly like when someone is sharing the screen, it is not visible in the system with which we are accessing the desktop remotely.

A Great Interaction With Our Tessitura Environment

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: A great software that works with and interacts with Tessitura seamlessly.

Pros:

Works great with our Tessitura implementation to allow the software to load.

Cons:

Sometimes issues with it getting stuck and having to force close app or call Tessitura to get sessions unstuck. Updates have caused issues in past with display size of fonts on screen.

Citrix Workspace, a decent solution of what's presently available

4.0 9 months ago

Pros:

Citrix is relatively user friendly and reliable and also has a public site where the software can be obtained.

Cons:

Too many versions of the software. There needs to be an adoption of a universal installer file that can determine your operating system automatically rather than having to dig through the versions on the site. It can also be difficult to use, especially if a user has to access local files for uploading/downloading via a browser.

4.0 7 months ago

Still a standard for lot of companies

5.0 last year

Pros:

Scaleability - easy of installation - ease of deployment (trough intune for example)

Cons:

As times are changing, companies that are running M365 services will be switching to Azure Virtual Desktop potentially. For many, pricing is currently the sole reason to stick with Citrix Workspace

Does what it should do but that's it

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: We are required to use Citrix Workspace when working remotely to access our desktop and get access to our documents and programs.

Pros:

The way of connecting and logging in can take some time using 2FA. Once logged in, you can use it as you would work in the office instead of remotely.

Cons:

The user interface is outdated. It takes you back to the 00s. The interface looks old and you can't share documents from your remote desktop to your own desktop.

Citrix Workspace (Cloud enviroment)

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall i think this is an amazing package for anyone looking to transition their business to Saas (Cloud).

Pros:

Citrix workspace is quite easy to use. Our employees log onto the Citrix program to get onto the cloud environment. Software seems to be constantly updated. Seamless transitions between the local computer. File transfers available able to use printers scanners and peripherals without having to re install on cloud.

Cons:

minor lags and timeouts (Could be our infrastructure) ive had reports of Keyboard not properly synchronizing causing errors or in severe cases complete random characters when typing (havent experienced it recently).

Citrix Workspace

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Overall I like Citrix for remote work. It does its job well, only issue I have is that for how complicated the setup is there are other products out there that are a lot more simple for cheaper that do a lot of the same things.

Pros:

The configuration options you have in deploying Citrix to machines after it has all been setup are very nice depending on your scenario. You can really customize your deployments and settings.

Cons:

Setting up and deploying a desktop/application can become cumbersome and has a lot of steps.

Comments: Overall I'm happy with the software. It connect quickly and allows me to get my work done remotely

Pros:

The software is fairly quick to load and allows me to connect to my virtual system at work. I like that is seemeles between using on my MAC or PC

Citrix - Great Remote Desktop Option

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Citrix has made working at multiple workstations much simpler than it was at previous positions. It works so well that it doesn't feel like I am accessing programs remotely most of the time. I am happy with the user experience.

Pros:

The ease of access. I utilize multiple desktops at work, and wherever I login with my work credentials, Citrix workspace makes all of the programs I need readily available. I can save favorites, and access programs quickly.

Cons:

I would add a feature. I t wold be nice to have Citrix recommend software that my workplace uses, based on what task I am trying to complete.

Does not work well at all

1.0 3 years ago

Comments: Terrible! It is a horrible product. I thought it was just the one organizations wi-fi, but now that I have started a new job and they too use this product and have similar issues I see it is the product!

Pros:

Nothing I would not recommend this product at all.

Cons:

I have used Citrix at two large organizations. At both companies the same thing happens. You get this disconnect from server error. It causes downtime and login issues. It is extremely bad if it is being used by many who are working from home. It is almost a daily issue!

Citrix Storefront is the perfect application to house your Citrix Servers

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: The ability to have one central location means less work for the user.

Pros:

The ability to have all your Citrix Servers in one location that you can click to access is helpful versus having to remember specific URLs to access.

Cons:

Nothing so far. This has been a far better option than when we had to manually remember the URL for the Citrix environment we wanted to connect to.

Work from home made simple

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Great tool for monitoring employees who work offsite, however it lacks simplicity.

Pros:

What I like mostly about this software is that it makes communicating between different individual across the organization very easy and simple. Its a great toll to use to monitor employees that work offsite, it tells the idle time and/or time spent away from the computer. Its great to share files across departments as well which can be edited and made available to pertinent individuals.

Cons:

It uses a virtual computer which may be a contributory factor as to the reason why it slows down throughout the day. It appears as it there is a server problem as no matter how fast your internet is, it continues to slow down.

Decent Software

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: It’s been fine, but I don’t love the crashing.

Pros:

I like everything that Citrix is capable of doing. It is the main program that I use each day to enter students, calculate their graduation date, and keep track of placement data. Our company uses this program very often.

Cons:

The program crashes at least once a day. Everyone in my company experiences this problem and it can be very frustrating to be in the middle of work and then lose it and have to open the program and start over.

Citrix review

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I use this every day to log into different analysis software to do things such as entering progress notes, creating treatment plans, and completing diagnostic assessments. It makes this very easy to access.

Pros:

I use this software everyday to log into my other software for my job. It is very easy to use and lets you organize your apps/softwares based on how often you use them. It is very important for my job to remain HIPAA compliant and this software takes care of that with no problem.

Cons:

The software can sometimes be spotty and have errors. I have only experienced this once or twice, and when it does happen our IT team is able to fix it very quickly.

Citrix Workspace review

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Citrix Workspace is a Citrix DaaS solution hosted entirely in the Citrix Cloud. It is very easy to operate by utilizing the Citrix Workspace App client which gives the same look and feel as if working from a traditional Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops implementation on-premise or in a private Cloud. What is particularly useful and interesting is the introduction of Citrix Workspace microApps and Citrix Workspace custom workflows. With microapps, each employee can focus on the tasks which they perform most frequently and use either a microapp which comes out of the box or create a custom one based on their requirements. End users can also create a custom workflow to work with their custom microapps, thus increasing their overall efficiency and productivity without the requirement to have technical expertise in IT.

Pros:

I enjoyed the Citrix Workspace MicroApps and the custom workflows which can be created intuitively without any prior technical IT knowledge.

Cons:

Given that Citrix Workspace is entirely hosted in the Citrix Cloud, there could be some performance degradation when working in the virtual desktop in some regions around the world, depending on the technical characteristics of the last mile of the end user WAN connection (e.g. high round trip time / latency). This however is getting better as new Citrix Cloud locations are added to the service and the overall global network infrastructure is improving.
