Reviews of Notion

A personal favorite of mine
Comments: Overall, I love it. I use Notion just about every day for both work and personal projects and even after months of use, I still haven't had any issues. Its a wonderful application and one of my personal favorites.
Pros:
My favorite thing about it is the ability to add new features yet somehow still remain easy to use.
Cons:
As of right now, I don't really have any complaints.
I’m a BIG fan of Notion
Comments: I love Notion and I use it for all my task tracking. I have also recommended to others, especially in the start-up space.
Pros:
Love the capabilities and integrations available with the array of templates. I like that the community can build templates, so there are many options to suit whatever your needs are. I like that you can use light coding to tailor your workspaces and templates to be exactly what you want them to be.
Cons:
It’s a little difficult to reset a template or get all the values to zero when you want to repurpose it or get ride of placeholder content.
Helpful tool but hard to learn.
Comments: Notion is a useful tool if you have the time to learn how it works. It was not user friendly, and it was left us frustrated on more than one occasion.
Pros:
I liked being able to leave notes write on the document. It always notified us when someone else made changes or added to the project. It was an easy way to keep everyone on the same page.
Cons:
Notion was not very user friendly. I feel like it took our team a while to figure out how to effectively use the program.

Notion as a Tool for Project Planning and Social Media Content Strategy
Comments: I’m extremely pleasantly surprised by how many features Notion offers, even in its free version. Previously, my work tasks and tracking their progress were scattered across different places. Now, I can keep everything in one place and monitor the progress of various tasks within a single app. With Notion, my workflow is now clearer, and things are more under control. Overall, it’s a very flexible application that adapts to a wide range of needs.
Pros:
I started using Notion because I needed to organize my work tasks better. Soon, I realized that Notion allows me to plan my content strategy and social media calendar with extreme ease and clarity. The biggest benefit has been the ability to save inspirational material from around the internet without consuming storage space on my computer or phone. I’ve created tables and a calendar where I can track the progress of each of my projects.
Cons:
Alongside Notion, I started using the Notion calendar, which can also sync with Google Calendar, for example. This calendar is, of course, synchronized with the project management table I created in Notion. This feature has also been extremely helpful. However, I would appreciate the ability to customize the calendar’s color scheme (it’s currently just gray), so that different events and reminders would stand out more clearly.

Great tool if you are willing to learn it!
Comments: I used it for about a year but I never used it to its full potential. I believe it's a really powerful tool that has so much to offer - you just have to know how to use it right and spend some time learning it.
Pros:
Sleek interface, A LOT of different use cases and functionality, very powerful and potent tool.
Cons:
For me it always felt like a little too complex, I never fully figured it out and switched to a simpler tool... But that's just my personal experience!
Notion Review
Pros:
Notion is super easy to use! I love how flexible it is for organizing everything, whether it’s tasks, notes, or projects. It’s great for both personal use and team collaboration
Cons:
it takes a little time to get the hang of all the features if you're new to it
Notion is a must-have for any small business owner!
Comments: Overall, Notion is one of my favorite apps as a small business owner. They are constantly updating it with new features, and the version that I use is even free. Notion saves me time and money every single day!
Pros:
Notion is such a robust software. There are SO many things that you can do within it. It eliminated my need for several other apps, and even saved me money in being able to cancel them.
Cons:
It can be a bit overwhelming at first- templates definitely help!
Best Tool ever
Pros:
It's free, very easy to use and it has a great UI
Cons:
there is really nothing that I don't like
Upgrade your project management
Pros:
Its extreme flexibility to adapt the tool to your needs and visual style.
Cons:
Not a lot of things. Maybe the first steps can be overwhelming due to so much options available.
Great productivity app for experts
Comments: Great app for note taking, project management. Works well for our org. The only caveat being it’s not so easy to use for beginners
Pros:
Great app for project management. Keeps the team on the same page. Real time progress visible to all team members. Also great for note taking. Takes a while to get used to, but works wonders once you learn how to use it.
Cons:
User interface could be more friendly and easier to use. AI features should be included in the standard plan.

Why I live in notion on a daily basis
Comments: I live in my notion database as an independent consultant, using it for tasks, meeting notes, second brain database and heaps more. It took me about 6 months to really find my feet but once it clicked, the capability has been super impressive. The community support around the product is fantastic, and the ability to buy templates makes up for the steeper learning curve if you are having trouble getting started.
Pros:
Flexibility to create what you need. The AI tool is a game changer as far as recalling info within your database.
Cons:
It does have a steep learning curve, although there is training available, and heaps of resources online, it still takes some time to get your head around it if you have not used a system like this before.
Review of Notion
Comments: My overall experience with Notion is great. I'm using it everyday since two years and it is the main platform for my project management. I allows me to setup a new project in a very efficient manner. It doesn't lag or stops in the middle. Before notion I was using other platforms as well but they wasn't the one that I was looking for. I'm a website designer and over the years I've managed and completed over 350 website designing projects.
Pros:
Over the couple of years, Notion has become my everyday buddy. This has been the easiest platform that allowed me to manage multiple projects at the same time. I'm a website designer by profession so I require a platform where I can track my different projects or clients. I can mention particular team members in the projects I want. In simple words, I would say Notion is a perfect tool for teams. I can easily create different projects and attach links or media files in them. It also allows you to prioritize tasks.
Cons:
For cons, I would say that Notion sometimes can be very overwhelming for many users to use. It can be confusing for new users as there are so many tools and options to use. I myself got confused in my initial days of using Notion. I generally forget how to start a new line, or break lines after every link I add. Some people who like flashy colors or graphics may find it boring.

Alternatives Considered:
Notion makes an excellent and professional looking homebase.
Comments: A colleague shared a public document in Notion and I was immediately charmed by the clarity of the interface and wanted to learn more. Quite frankly, I was finding the Google Docs experience to be so unattractive as to be off brand. I can create much more professional shared documents in Notion. Additionally, the easy availability of databases made moving my knowledge management to Notion an no-brainer.
Pros:
It is easy to get started in Notion and very intuitive. Creating attractive interfaces and database views is relatively simple. I appreciate being able to mix multiple media and data sources into one document.
Cons:
There are so many possibilities with Notion it can be challenging to find the solution or template that will actually meet your need.
My two year of Notion
Comments: After using Notion for two years, I've found it to be an incredibly versatile tool for organizing projects and personal tasks. Its ability to customize pages and link different content types made it easy to create tailored workflows. However, I did encounter some challenges, like occasional slow performance with larger pages and a bit of a learning curve when first starting out. Despite these issues, its flexibility and all-in-one functionality have made it a staple in my productivity toolkit.
Pros:
Notion's flexibility and customization options are what I like most. It allows users to create and organize information in a way that suits their needs, whether for personal projects, team collaboration, or even complex workflows. The ability to integrate different types of content like text, images, databases, tasks into one platform and then link them.
Cons:
Notion can be slow with large pages, has a steep learning curve, and offers limited offline access. Also it sometimes fail to last locally saved copy
Want to build a digital library? Use Notion
Pros:
Notion was the first app I used on my Macbook Pro to organize my entire life, track all of my notes, coursework progress, document drafting, saving bookmarks, publishing public pages to the web and sharing information with others. These are just some of the older features, recently they've added new tools to customize and make the most out of the app. There are plenty of free features to make this app very useful.
Cons:
There is no Offline version, unfortunately. Not only that, I wish there was a way to turn off the AI feature, or use an API key from a non-Notion AI integration. I also wish there were more integrations as well, but I haven't looked into that side of things for quite a while, so there might be many more that I'm unaware of.
Versatile cross between database and project management
Comments: At first I found it a bit confusing, but after working with it for awhile and adding templates from other creators I got the hand of it. I am still not using the full capabilities of the app mainly due to the mobile issues, but I am sure I will use it more fully in the future.
Pros:
I like that Notion is highly customizable. It can be both a project management tool and a database. You can create any type of field and enter the relevant information. You can add as much or as little information as you want. Therefore, you can use it to keep research notes organized and plan the project in the same app. Thus, it is much more versatile than straight forward project management tools.
Cons:
The app is a bit buggy and resource intensive. Often it will cause my iPad Pro to have a meltdown and I have to shut down to get it to work again.
notions review with respect to use of student
Comments: Overall experience with Notion as a student has been very positive. It has been an essential tool for managing my busy academic and extracurricular life. From keeping track of my class schedule and assignments to tracking coding projects and planning for events like college fests, everything is kept in one place with Notion. I like the flexibility of using workflows. For instance, I created myself a personal dashboard with timetable, to-do lists, and deadlines. The feature of being able to link pages and work with templates makes organizing really easy and efficient. Calendar view as well as Kanban boards in general are very useful for visualizing overload and keeping everything under control. However, it had a steep learning curve at the start, and I had to take some time to figure out how to set this one to my specific needs. Moreover, it has terrible offline functionality sometimes. Overall, Notion has significantly improved my productivity, allowing me to balance academics, coding, and extracurriculars effectively. It's a powerful tool that I’d recommend to any student willing to explore its potential.
Pros:
For someone like me, juggling coding projects, college schedules, assignments, and extracurriculars like attending fests, Notion has been a game-changer. All aspects of my student life can be streamlined efficiently using the all-in-one workspace provided by Notion. Notion is very flexible. I have created separate pages for my timetable, task management, and coding projects. Customizable templates made it easy to set up a weekly schedule or a Kanban board to track my project progress. The ability to link pages means that I can keep all relevant information—like assignment deadlines and project resources—just a click away. For event planning, like attending or organizing fests, Notion's calendar view is invaluable. It lets me track deadlines, add details of events, and even embed media like posters or schedules for easy reference. Its mobile app ensures I can access my tasks on the go, while the collaboration feature allows me to share notes or project updates with peers. The interface is sleek, and its drag-and-drop functionality makes organizing tasks almost fun. Notion has made a slight learning curve worth it for transforming my workload; it balances academics with coding and fun. It is a must-have for students!
Cons:
The biggest challenge faced as a student in steep learning curve is that it is extremely flexible, but you actually have to get to know how to customize it for what you want, be it timetable management or tracking assignments-you find it really frustrating trying to get through features of it and understanding how you can set up an efficient system when you are managing pretty busy student life. Another drawback is its limited offline functionality. Not being able to access or update my notes or schedules without an internet connection can be inconvenient, especially during commutes or when Wi-Fi isn’t available. Besides, Notion sometimes lags and especially slows down when working with large databases or pages filled with content, which hinders the workflow of doing fast updates before a class or an event. Despite all that, once it is installed, Notion is such a powerful app and effort to make.
A tool for everyday use

I appreciate how I can use it to manage my tasks, organize projects, take notes, and collaborate with others, all in a single platform.
Pros:
One of the things I liked most about Notion is its incredible flexibility. Notion combines note-taking, task management, databases, and collaboration tools all in one platform.
Cons:
What I liked least about Notion is its performance when handling large databases or complex pages. As the content grows, the application can become sluggish, especially on mobile devices.

Notion is a very complete tool, the use cases are unlimited and the product itself is great, in four years we haven't had any issues or bugs
Cons:
The learning curve can be quite steep and confusing, but that's expected for such a complex product
Notion review
Comments: I use Notion to manage my personal tasks, plan content for my youtube Channel and tiktok account and some Time Facebook, and collaborate with my team on projects. Its flexibility allows me to track everything from to-do lists to complex databases, all within a single app. It has helped me stay more organized and productive.
Pros:
As an experienced user, I can confidently say that Notion's greatest strength lies in its unparalleled flexibility and adaptability. Notion's extensive library of templates is a game-changer, providing a head start for everything from project management to personal goal tracking. Additionally, its cross-platform compatibility ensures that your work stays synchronized across devices, making it an indispensable tool for both individual productivity and team collaboration.
Cons:
Limited offline functionality compared to other tools and sometime performance can lag slightly for very large databases.
Notion is by far the Best Project Management Software ever!
Comments: Notion is something that you can do some brain dump with but at the same time, when you are not overwhelmed with every task that you have to do, you can easily arrange and put everything in order from your brain dumping. You can customize it in a way that you want and what you find manageable, making it easier for you to navigate your won personal agendas without it being all over the place. I can even use it offline and still work on my projects. The mobile app of Notion is easy to use as well so there really is nothing more I need. It's something that I've discovered back when I was still a student but it is still something that I love using now that I am an employee and a business owner.
Pros:
What I love most about Notion is that I can easily do project collaborations with my business partners, we can simply edit or arrange the page to our preference. I love how I can easily customize a page in whatever I like but mostly, I love how it can help you get your tasks done and know which one to prioritize or which ones need less attention, it helps a lot with time management as well.
Cons:
I’ve been using Notion for 4 years now and I can't say anything against it because I only loved it ever since!

The best app for planning and management
Comments: The experience was really awesome and I'm using notion every day
Pros:
I liked the most the progress tracker and the feature to do it through app
Cons:
I liked least the working with group feature and it was a premium feature

Notion shows us solutions in one place
Comments: It is a powerful tool that has attracted a lot of attention in recent years. It gives us the ability to generate and sort different types of material, such as notes, databases, wikis, tasks and more, in a flexible way and from a customized base. I value Notion's diversity because it allows me to devise my own designs and procedures to meet my needs. The drag-and-drop interface and powerful search capability make it easy to find and navigate information quickly. The program also supports collaboration, making it possible to join and work on documents in real time with other users. This feature is particularly useful for groups and remote employees.
Pros:
Notion provides us with the ability to generate and sort different types of material, from simple notes to complex databases, wikis, work lists and more. This versatility gives us the possibility to conceive our own designs and procedures to suit our particular needs. It offers a variety of customization possibilities, such as templates, transformation tools and integration with different apps. It gives us the opportunity to customize the software according to the needs and work procedures. It supports collaboration among staff members, allowing all staff members to collaborate and work on documents live and in real time. This feature is particularly interesting for remote employees who need to collaborate in different time zones.
Cons:
Notion's text editor offers a number of presentation possibilities, however, I think there may be a limitation in terms of customization. Notion does not have strong automation features like other knowledge management tools. This may be a difficulty for users who require quite a bit of automation to shorten their work cycles and decrease hand work.
Alternatives Considered:
Intimidating at first but well worth it!
Pros:
I love how customizable Notion is. The workspace can be 100% tailored to my individual work needs, which maximizes my efficiency.
Cons:
Initially, Notion can be intimidating. It’s hard to know where to start and how to begin creating the perfect workspace, but once you do start it ends up being intuitive.
