> **Pros**: Its great that you can give kudos both publicaly and privately. Sometimes it means more to get private kudos from a colleage that helped you through a difficult situation

> **Cons**: A program is only as great as the people using it. It was hard to get buy in from higher ups to use the system. And its not possible to edit the kudos if you forgot to include someone, this leads to some people not getting the right recognition for projects that they worked hard on.
> 
> Overall Matter is a nice way to help your team feel good about their work, and is pretty customizable to the company. I suggest making sure higher ups are in it to win it before investing in the program.
