> **Pros**: We chose eMedley because of its reputation for working with health education programs such as nursing, medicine, and optometry.  Their application suite was attractive as we wanted to limit the number of 3 party resources we would need to develop our program.  Having one platform has been a benefit to us...and the ability to customize each application to meet program needs has been great

> **Cons**: we have a team with little "architect" experience. therefore, as a newer program, we could have had more examples of how other programs use the application. we have had some feedback from end users that the "look" of the applications appear "clunky" as many of us are use to Qualtrics or ExamSoft.

> **Pros**: With the ability to customize the interface, eMedley is able to meet the needs of its customers. The support team is knowledgeable and helpful at every instance. The products are fairly intuitive to navigate, creating only a small learning curve for new users.

> **Cons**: The option to customize is wonderful but the testing phase (before implementation) needs to be examined. End users need the opportunity to test new features/functions/changes in a sandbox environment, ask questions, and provide feedback before those items are rolled directly into production.  Recognizing a sandbox/testing phase adds time into the process, the  yield would benefit all parties because it ensures the user gets what is needed before it goes into production. Otherwise additional resources are incurred to make changes after the fact.

> **Pros**: I like that you can access documents specific to lectures on the day and time that they are scheduled for. I like the calendar format when I am trying to study ahead of time for a single topic. I also like that you can access all of the documents for a single course, although it is much harder to navigate this way. Lastly, it's nice that the home page defaults to an area where you can see approaching deadlines for certain assignments.

> **Cons**: eMedley is currently not the most mobile user-friendly. It is difficult to navigate on a phone or tablet, as it is clear it was not primarily set up for this purpose. Additionally, if you decrease the window size and then maximize it, the software appears to be unable to adapt unless you refresh the entire page. This may be due to the way that my school uses the software, but I do not like the setup when we are registering for courses - it's a horizontal interface that you must scroll through to see the whole year, and it's not immediately obvious when a block ends and begins.

> This is not my favorite academic interface. At other institutions, I have been quite satisfied with CTools, Blackboard, and others. However, I do like that you can view pertinent documents to daily lectures and if you become familiar with the software, you can see all the documents related to a whole course.
