We wanted to chose a European company as we wanted to support our locals instead of big tech. > > **Cons**: We decided to use Yousign for signing our employment contracts. As a European provider, we were initially positive about the choice. Unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. Yousign communicates that you can sign with a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) for €15 and reuse that signature. In practice, however, you end up paying for it every single time. This means the actual cost is €30 per document. Although they acknowledged that the information provided was incorrect, they still enforced their one-month notice period. The signing process itself has been highly unreliable. For €30 per document, we expected a smooth and professional experience. Instead, we encountered repeated bugs and verification failures. The “Oops, something went wrong” screen appeared more often than a successful completion page. When you use signing software for employment contracts, you want to make a professional impression on candidates and partners. Unfortunately, this tool did the opposite for us. If reliability, transparency, and user experience matter to you, I would strongly recommend exploring alternative solutions. > > The communication of this company is very bad. However, the plans that are advertised with that they can be cancelled any time have a cancellation period. In our case we had an annual plan and cancelled it on time before the renewal just to find out that there is a notice period of 15 days before the renewal date. This was nowhere mentioned except, maybe, small in the Terms which nobody reads. It should be communicated clearly.
