> **Pros**: Extremely easy to setup and implement. Literally less than 15 minutes to setup connection to Office 365 and begin importing email. Works prior to employee's ability to delete / hide email ensures complete protection and legal proof of email existence.

> **Cons**: There are no downsides. The software is very price competitive and provides exactly what it should, Active Directory synchronized email archiver that is very quick to search and provide results.

> Great solution for saving a copy of all email. Has many legal implications and the ability to prove emails did or did not exist. Have used with many use cases from restoring accidentally deleted email to producing a quick search of email export.

> **Pros**: What I enjoy most about the Cloud Archiving product is that once it is setup it just works and I don't have to constantly interface with it to know it is working. I have alerts setup at barracuda that let me know if any services are down, other than that I have confidence that my email accounts are being archived as they should be.

> **Cons**: I wish the interface was a little cleaner, sometimes it can be a little difficult to navigate through the portal, other than that it does work just fine.

> **Pros**: The Barracuda operating system is very low profile at only around 200MB, and is HTML based once it gets running. The deduplication of archived emails is a nice feature. Once the permissions are set up correctly, archiving emails is very easy and deploying the Outlook add on is also easy to accomplish. The archived emails show as a separate mailbox on the left side of Outlook much like built in Exchange archiving. The add on has useful search features

> **Cons**: The user access control could use some work. I am an admin but I don't want to see everyone's emails when I search the system from my outlook. Exchange archiving is easier to implement, but Barracuda has better solutions for environments with PST files everywhere. Sometimes the barracuda software will glitch and need a restart to get the indexing working again.

> Positive, the OVF/OVA VMware file is easy to get running and archiving. I would like more features for access control for admins.

> **Pros**: Once setup, it just does what you need for it to do, Archives messages.  Ease of searching when needed for either an investigation or data mining for something sent, but lost in email.   Statistical data also provides insight into how much communication your organization does on a daily basis and overall.

> **Cons**: There isn't much I don't like, but if I have to mention something, it would be the way Microsoft journals to Barracuda.  There are sometimes duplicate entries when searching, but not enough of an issue for me to worry about.

> Overall, I would recommend Barracuda to any Sys Admin that needs to provide a message archiving solution for their company.  Easy integration into O365, easy to navigate, no footprint in your datacenter are all reasons why I will always have this solution at my company.  Used for over 8 years and never an issue, even when we migrated from onsite appliance to the cloud solution, it was seamless.
