Years ago we recognized a need for better technology in the behavioral health space. With proven backgrounds in health software, we got to work developing a new product that would push the boundaries of technology to simplify and streamline the daily tasks of medical professionals. We understood that the less time they spent inputing notes and managing medications the more time they could spend with patients.

Aleeva is very seamless to use. The functionality and organization is top tier. The staff is one of the best staff’s I have ever worked with. Always there to help and improve the experience.
Cons:
Cost, but we are happy to pay more for Aleeva.

Alleva is the best out there
Pros:
I have been working with and utilizing Alleva software for the past 5 years. Alleva has the best customer service, Alleva is always available when you need them. If you need something fixed, a report built, a feature added they are always right their to help. Alleva can be customized to fit your needs and our facility loves that. Very user friendly and ease of use for the end user. As a Rehab Admin I can support my staff with all their needs in updating items to make their job easier.
Cons:
When big updates are pushed out the system can get glitchy but Alleva support is always right there to trouble shoot it with you.

Alleva: Pros and Cons
Comments: Overall I haven't been impressed. I don't deal with Alleva on the back-end (finances, administration, etc.) but from what I have experienced, I've experienced more struggles than I have successes. Frankly, I feel that I have to work my job around my EMR instead of the EMR making my job easier. I want to be fair that I don't have the entire picture, but I would not recommend.
Pros:
Alleva has some really cool customizable features. The user interface is aesthetically pleasing compared to other EMRs I've used in the past.
Cons:
Really struggling to make Alleva work for my use. There are quite a few bugs (specifically with treatment plans) and features that are not intuitive and do not match with what we're looking for. It's tough to get support. Submitting a ticket is often challenging to get a response and when I get a response, typically the solution is 1. "You're not using it correctly and it is user error." and then when I take time out of my schedule to show screenshots, I get 2. "Yeah that's weird, we'll follow up on that." For example: "Hey only three out of the six objectives that I updated were saved when I updated my treatment plan." The response was "We only have record of three objectives updated." Additionally, it is often slow and/or buggy. Notes will not save which requires me to write the note elsewhere to copy and paste it back in when Alleva begins working again.

Positive review for Alleva
Comments: As a woman in my 60s it was easy to use easy to learn staff is appropriate when asked questions or need help updating program
Pros:
Leave it was easy to learn and use. All my individual notes and group notes were added to sidebar in order to not continue to type the same thing every 8 weeks.
Cons:
What I like least about leave the is when my tasks to do open up and it's an individual session or in the calendar it does not show up when you open a new progress note and view past notes they do not show up.

Very Helpful
Pros:
Alleva is an excellent EMR that is easy to navigate. The way their team works with my company to make improvements to tailor to our needs is unmatched. The customer service is outstanding and are able to get back to you quickly and efficiently.
Cons:
To be honest I do not like the way the MSE is developed and I have made a suggestion for it in the past mimicking another MSE from another program that was a breeze. The MSE in Alleva is what I dislike most about notes and I dread it.

Therapist Appreciates the User Friendly Nature of Allevasoft
Comments: Very positive, very useful, and user friendly
Pros:
Ease of use---This platform is easy to use for my needs. The calendar/scheduler is what I work off of more than the Tasks section. From section to section, the workflow for me is rather easy and uncomplicated.
Cons:
Options and lack of versatility (which more options may be coming).

Easy to use and effective
Comments: Love it! Easy to use and the calendar is amazing
Pros:
I have used a lot of different servers documentation and I really, really like Alleva. It is very easy to use. It is easy to navigate and my charting is done in minutes instead of an hour.
Cons:
The only thing that I don’t like, is that in the scheduler, it won’t let you move an appointment to a day earlier in the week even if the day hasn’t happened yet, but it was an easy fix. I just put copy instead of and then I delete the second one.

The Raleigh House
Comments: [sensitive content hidden] have been absolutely incredible to work with and have given so much time and patience to our issues. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about the product and a pleasure to work with. [sensitive content hidden], in particular, goes above and beyond to make sure that we can function as a facility when things go awry. This has included building forms for us on an airplane while he flew to another account. He is a valuable asset to the success of your product.
Pros:
It is conceptually a good product and has a pleasing aesthetic
Cons:
I have spent an incredible amount of time building custom forms and intakes that have inevitably broken and had to be rebuilt several times causing massive data losses. The UR module is under developed and begs the input from URs to make it more functional to the department.

Good Charting System
Pros:
I like how easy Alleva is to use. I like the functionality of it as well. Their customer service usually resolves issues rather quickly and when we notice a glitch in the charting system it gets fixed fast.
Cons:
I don't like that you can't change medication dosing given if it's noticed that it was charted wrong. If the prescriber put in the dosing wrong it will chart the wrong dose until it's changed even with the correct doses being given.

Comments: Overall I'm satisfied. I feel like the innovation and development is pretty good.
Pros:
The are strictly geared for mental health so it has a lot of relevant features
Cons:
There seems to be a lot of glitchy bugs from time to time. I have therapists that notes disappear on them.

I am an Alleva Fan!
Pros:
I love the fact that Alleva is very user friendly. It is very easy for a new hire to learn the system, especially with the rollout of Alleva University. New hires have the ability to get familiar with the system before they even start! What I love the most is their customer service. They are readily available when we need them to address any issues and are willing to go above and beyond, creating teaching aids or having one on one meetings to walk through different tasks.
Cons:
I have yet to identify an issue that Alleva cannot or will not address.

Super Happy
Comments: Overall I am happy with Alleva. I would tell people about it and recommend them using it.
Pros:
I have been using Alleva for 5 years. It is easy to use and navigate. I appreciate all of the training that they offer for free. Support is always quick and helpful.
Cons:
There seems to be a lot of glitches and slowness. They say it is cookies. It may be, but when it is bad it is a pain.

Alleva is easy to use
Pros:
Alleva allows everyone that needs to know something about a client, access to that information. Information is easy to edit, scheduling is easy, and downloading/accessing documents is easy.
Cons:
Before completing Alleva University, some things were confusing. However, now having done the training, it is much easier to use.

Comments: Good product that is continually being ungraded for the use ability.
Pros:
Ease in using daily. I have to use for scheduling and keeping track of both individual and family notes

Shuts down early at times and needs to be restarted.

Good product
Pros:
I like that Alleva is very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Cons:
I do not like the Communication Logs portion of the system. You cannot go back and correct a mistake, or you cannot go back to an unfinished communication log to complete it. It will automatically save the log without a way to go back to complete it. It is not ideal for a busy office with distractions.

Ease of function
Comments: The overall ease of function of the system is not smooth and is time consuming
Pros:
E-scribe function is very easy to use. The communication log serves as a good charting section that can be viewed by all disciplines across the hospital. The document section is easy for locating uploaded information.
Cons:
Difficult to get from one screen to the next

Alleva makes my job easier
Comments: I use Alleva every day and it makes my job so much easier. I do a lot of tasks that needs information quickly and easily. Alleva accomplishes both of those.

I like how everything is organized and easy to access.

Sometimes the single-sign on gets a little hard to use.

Easy to use
Comments: Overall once you get used to Aleva it is easy to use and most of the time runs smoothly.
Pros:
Alleva is user friendly. I especially like that as a supervisor and someone that has to sign off on many documents, I can sign them all with one click and my pin.
Cons:
There are some glitches at times. Also it seems that it does a reset at times and things we had Alleva change for us reverts to the original way.
