"An easy to integrate BI tool"

I would suggest that BIRT spend more money on marketing as it has not gained as much as name as Crystal Reports did even though, I think BIRT is better than Crystal Reports.
Pros:
BIRT tool is very easy to integrate with your system / database and provides a very rich user interface experience. And the best part is, you can inject Javascript code to make additional changes on top of what they provide. I would strongly recommend considering BIRT if you need any kind of reporting service and analytics. I found it to be better and easier than Crystal Reports and rich with functionalities.
Cons:
BIRT did not get enough recognition in the industry like Crystal Reports did. As a result, if you are trying to sell your system and BIRT is advertised, I would strongly suggest that you showcase the functionalities and what you can achieve with this so that your product doesn't get negatively rated by a possible customer.
