Comments: Overall I found Google Chat easy to use, integrate, and train the staff. It is good for team collaboration, easy to share files, and create the workspace.

Pros:

I have tried different messaging apps and platforms and Google Chat so far is a very light and easy-to-use app. It offers a variety of features like Real-time Messaging, Spaces, File Sharing, Task Management, and Security. Recently Google Chat has also updated AI features.

Cons:

There is a limitation in integrating the codes and logs like Slack within Channels.

Google chat is easy to sign in using Google account and it's integrated with Gemini AI

Best Messaging System

Comments: Great product, I hope they continue to improve upon it.

Pros:

Much better than the Samsung version, interacts with other text messages much better.

Cons:

Notifications do not reflect read messages properly. Sometimes it shows I have an unread message but when I click on the notification, it is referring to an old message that I already saw.

Google Chat is absolutely Fantastic

Google Chat is really very efficient for staff conversation and is well integrated into other Google products.

Cons:

I can't think of nay downside. Absolutely fantastic!

Very helpful for instant chatting and messaging within big teams... Very flexible and seamless.

Cons:

Nothing. I don't see any drawback to it... Maybe just offering some higher security for HIPPA and Secured messaging with low cost.

Not Ubiquitous Enough to Be Sole Tool

Comments: I enjoy using Google Chat, but the lack of interest from friends and family prohibits the ubiquitous requirement for prominence.

Pros:

Attachments and upload are simple, but the ability to engage in real time chats that are connected directly to an existing Google account is both convenient and highly productive at the same time.

Cons:

Sometimes the simplicity of this app causes it to feel feature-deficient, whether it actually is or is not so.

Easy communication tool

Comments: It is easy to use and easy to communicate with team members and individuals. It helps me be more efficient, and there is no "free" version or addons that we need to get.

Pros:

I like the ease of use, and I don't have to download any application. We use it for project group, social groups, and company and team announcements, so I am in chat all day everyday. I can also pin it so I always know where it is, and I can set notifications that don't interrupt me all day. I can also pin certain people and groups to easily find them, because those are the ones I need most often.

Cons:

Because we use it so much, I do get a lot of pings from chats I don't really care about, like a social chat, but I still need to be a part of them. That is really my only complaint, and compared to the upsides, it's really nothing.

Comments: Quite happy with Google Chat. Its now my go-to messaging platform at work.

Its easy to use and you can sync your google calendar, google meets and google drive. It made it so much easier because everything is on Google Drive and its so easy to access it

I don't like that it pops up in the middle of my email browser, and I can't have the chat open at the same time as my email -- I wish it was on the side of the browser away from the body of my email

Sometimes when we don't get a notification that someone messaged us and it is minimized so you just have to make sure to pay attention at the bottom of the screen

Quick and Easy Communication

Comments: I love Google Chat. It is very beneficial for my job and makes my job much easier.

Pros:

I love that it is something easy for staff to use to communicate throughout the day with the least amount of distractions for others. It is also accessible when I am away from my computer.

Cons:

The only issue I have found is that sometimes the chat function will glitch.

Pros:

Google chat makes instant messaging easy and seamless. I have google chat both on my desktop and mobile, and the experience on both are great! Very user friendly, and easy to adjust/migrate to after using other communication tools.

Cons:

Nothing off the top of my mind, I enjoy google chat a lot, and love that the mobile instance allows you to toggle between other google products like Gmail

Game Changer (if you are a Gmail User)

Comments: Perfect, I've been using google chat since my first job and I highly recommed it to all my collegues in every company I work in and every friends outside companies.

Pros:

Perfectly integrated with GMail, with Google Chat you can almost throw your phone in the rubbish. During your workday this is the perfect tool for emergencies and quick conversation, to share files & screenshot in an easy and useful way (and also to store them and find them in the future).You can enable notifications and easily use it also on your mobile during meetings.

Cons:

Nothing, it is just perfect (I am a Gmail User).
