> **Pros**: Well, generally in a large environment where we need to track storage utilization of the NetApp filers it is very easy to set up and use. We have been implementing this solution for years now and it is working excellent.

> **Cons**: Group of the service levels on NetApp On-command Insight could be a challenge sometimes. As if you need to track the I/O's CPU and vfiler status and availability matrix we need to optimize the Oncommand Insight for viewing the information.
> 
> Well, it's a very powerful and resourceful tool if you are looking to manage your NetApp flexvol volumes, vfiler utilization, volume, and aggregate utilization and capacity.

> **Pros**: The feature that I appreciated the most was the fact it had so many features. I used it to manage our on prem storage and it was critical for finding out which drives had gone bad quickly so they could be replaced in a timely fashion.

> **Cons**: The NetApp software was not missing any features in my opinion. But I did find it complex and difficult to understand what I needed to do to perform certain tasks. Adding disks to the storage pool proved to be the most difficult to understand.
