Great solution to Work from Home and increase productivity

5.0 last month New

Comments: This solution allowed the company to decentralized locations, and helped us coordinate and increase focus in current projects. Really becoming part of our daily operations.

Pros:

This solution has become a great help to work with internal and external teams. Since is part of the Microsoft Environment the integration with Word and Excel files is excellent. Having the documents and the team focused does have and increment in productivity.

Cons:

One issue is that you need a robust machine because the program is heavy and takes a lot of resources from the computer.

Microsoft Teams Review

4.0 last month New

Pros:

Teams allows you to chat, share files, and work collaboratively with team members in real-time, even if you are working remotely or from different locations.

Cons:

While Teams is included with most Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions, some of the more advanced features, such as call recording and transcription, may require an additional subscription or add-on.

Well-integrated suite of products, an industry standard, but lacking the little things

3.0 last month New

Comments: It feels like a case of 3 steps forward, 5 steps back when it comes to the development of MS Teams. Most core features are alright and sufficient for a number of productivity scenarios. But what's very frustrating is that MS Teams and the whole MS 365 suite can be much much more if they can get their UX research in order and their development targets in order.

Pros:

Biggest advantage it has is how well integrated it is in the MS365/Office suite of products which are ubiquitous in many workplace settings. This makes it very likely that clients and collaborators will have friction-free collaborative work experiences.

Cons:

Slow development and seemingly lack of effort in satisfying customer demands. For example, one of the biggest problems in Teams for desktop is the absence of a way to easily switch between different organizations. It's only now that MS finally has a preview of this feature, but it also lacks the basic functionalities of the original Teams software. The preview version has also reversed the ordering of messages in Teams. In general, features also don't seem so fully fleshed out like the wiki feature which if done properly (say like Notion, Slite, and other knowledge management tools) would make Teams so much more powerful.

If you are a M365 user, you should be using Teams.

4.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall, our org loves it. We use it for everything including as a business phone system. It's pretty ubiquitous and the integration we get with all MS stuff is perfect.

Pros:

The integration with all other Microsoft apps and services. Teams is built on top of sharepoint and as such has a ton of integration. Add in things like power automate and power apps and you can make teams to a lot of crazy things. It's constantly adding features.

Cons:

Memory and CPU usage can be high and some performance issues. MS is supposed to be releasing a new client soon that will address those issues. The preview client does appear to cut down the amount of memory and CPU used by 40% or so.

Teams For The Team

5.0 2 months ago New

Pros:

Video and audio calling quality of the videos and audio is way better than other softwares I have used. It integrates the whole company systems and departments in different geolocations. It also helps in solving customer queries that needs immediate attention and needs a third party involved. Teams like what it's name entails it brings a team together

Cons:

It still relies on the internet availability if there is a way of making it not dependent on the internet, although it's a far fetch idea but there is a need for another way of connecting
