Reviews of Google Workspace
A colloborative powerhouse with room for development
Comments: High level streamlined productivity and user friendly interface with reliable security. It also satisfies wide accessibility
Pros:
Google chat, google docs, google meet, google forms and so on are my everyday usable platforms and also i use a lot in google drive to save up my stuff. How could I deny that its a great asset to a individual who uses internet on a regular basis. Its seamsless collaboration features are playing a great interest.
Cons:
Storage limitations are of the most barrier that I come accross. Subscription prices are expensive which is not appealing.
The best for organization!
Pros:
Google Workspace is so easy to use. I love that I can so easily keep track of all of my businesses' needs inside of one platform and that everything syncs so easily. I've really enjoyed organizing all of my files within Drive, linking Docs to Tasks, syncing Tasks to my Calendar, setting up Appointment Schedules within Calendar, and embedding Forms into my Appointment Schedules. Everything is so smooth and streamlined.
Cons:
I would love to see a mobile version of Google Tasks and I would love to see this get built out to work a little bit more like Asana, Trello, or Monday. I also would love to see Google Slides function a little more like PPT or like Canva.
Some thing about Google workshop
Comments: My overall experience is good. it's very useful in official organisation.
Pros:
It's a collection of all tools that a college student needed the most.
Cons:
No cons for my point of view as college student.
Alternatives Considered:
Not perfect, but still amazing!
Comments: I've been using Google Workspace for over a decade, and it's just an excellent product, and they keep improving it. However, they seem to change their mind too often. "Here's Duo, use it for video conferencing. Here's Hangouts, use it to chat. Psych! Now it's Meet and Chat."
Pros:
When it comes to team collaboration, Google Workspace is the best in the business. Teams can collaborate live editing documents together, using chat within those documents, and everything is just intuitive.
Cons:
While the collaboration is amazing, the productivity suite just isn't MS Office. They're close, but just lagging in features. The Google Sheets formulas aren't quite the same as Excel, the formatting options of Google Docs aren't as robust as Word, etc.
Alternatives Considered:
Stable And Unstable At The Same Time
Comments: Doesn't let down, easy to use every-day, while feeling modern most of the time it also feels clunky and old.
Pros:
Ease to use, compatibility with other Google services, well-known
Cons:
Lack of speed for adding basic modern chat features, too many hard changes on UI & UX
You can't go wrong with Google Workspace for project management
Comments: Overall, it has been very satisfying, the tools have been very useful to achieve success in our projects and manage documentation.
Pros:
I like how complete the workspace is. We used most of its tools for storing the entire project documentation, manage mail communications and daily chats, schedule team video calls and used Jamboard before it got discontinued.
Cons:
One of the Google Workspace tools, Google meets, is very powerful, but lacks the tool to draw in the screen of the person who is sharing screen, to better discuss the project.
Alternatives Considered:
Hassle free comes at a cost, and a couple of gotchas.
Comments: Overall experience is positive, but the second I get a similar eco-system elsewhere for cheaper, I wouldn't hesitate much.
Pros:
The ecoysystem. Everything just works. I have had issues with OneDrive randomly ending file access and team members complaining that the file isn't accessible, however this is not the case with Workspace. It comes with quite a lot of features out of the box to help you run your business, and on top of which, if you are savvy enough with scripting, you can almost run basic, non-TOS breaking transactional emails (think reminders, alerts etc).
Cons:
I think it is quite expensive for the price. A major negative is that Google neglects their Workspace customers and gives them a degrading experience if you own Google devices. Many features aren't compatible as opposed to having a regular gmail account and they still haven't addressed this despite being a user for over 12 years.
Very Happy Overall
Comments: This has been a great addition to our company. The included storage space is great for a small business, and it makes sharing inspection reports and videos with clients a breeze.
Pros:
The reliability. We began when alternate email providers and they just weren't cutting it.
Cons:
It is a bit pricier than other options for sure.
Web based productivity apps at their best
Comments: I am more productive in Workspace than I would be using any other productivity tools
Pros:
Honestly no other web based office apps product even comes close
Cons:
It keeps you within the Google ecosystem
Love Google workplace
Comments: Overall, Google Workspace is a game-changer for productivity and collaboration. Highly recommended!
Pros:
Google Workspace has completely transformed the way my team and I collaborate. The seamless integration of tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, and Meet makes it incredibly easy to stay organized and efficient. I especially appreciate the real-time collaboration features in Docs and Sheets, which eliminate the need for constant back-and-forth emails. The security features and accessibility from any device are also a major plus, ensuring that our data is safe and our work is always within reach.
Cons:
The only downside I’ve encountered is that some advanced features, like the admin console, can feel overwhelming at first for new users. However, with a bit of practice and Google’s helpful resources, it becomes much easier to navigate.
Google Workspace: Scheduling Simplified for Teams
Comments: Scheduling and managing team events on the calendar is as easy as pie. From the real time editing features, we’ve been able to use our Google Docs to make a writing process that is more efficient at making communication materials. While to date I've been quite pleased with what the tool set offers, it's inevitable that at times I've felt the desire for more advanced project management tools that would integrate with the suite.
Pros:
One of Google Workspace’s shining features is shared workspace which lets many people work on the same document spreadsheets and presentations at the same time. Its supple integration with other Google tools, like Gmail, Calendar, and Drive, makes the ecosystem very natural. One example is being able to build events right from email invitations and automatically attach related documents to calendar entries that reduce administrative load for users.
Cons:
An advanced communication project of any complexity would be benefited if Gantt chart features or even more advanced task dependency tracking were added.
Easy to use and manage business email
Comments: Google Workspace for me has been a great tool to enable business email and user profiles. It allows me to get on with work without needing to spend big money on external IT providers.
Pros:
Seamless way to manage business email and associated tools. Google Workspace makes it easy to set up business email accounts and user profiles without needing a lot of technical knowledge.
Cons:
Some tools and systems do require Googling to find a way through them, but generally speaking I find the software is easy to follow and use.
Google Workspace Ideal For Teamwork
Comments: Overall, Google Workspace is a great solution, especially if your team is in different locations. It offers all the apps you need for staying on top of all your business needs, and it's easy to transition over to if you already have experience with other workspaces.
Pros:
We love that we can create a document that can be seen and edited by other team members without having to copy files to flash drives or attach them to emails. Spreadsheets and reports are most important, and they involve being seen by many people before being finalized. We can store each draft so we don't lose them, them keep working forward until we have a finished product to present to the masses. With team members scattered all over the place, it's a real time saver.
Cons:
The documents don't always update in real time. We'll get on the phone to discuss, say, a spreadsheet, and we'll suddenly realize we're looking at different drafts. As soon as everyone refreshes their screens and connections, voila, we're all back on the same page, but it's a real pain sometimes when we're in a hurry to discuss something. Google should look into why this keeps happening.
GOOGLE WORKSPACE - ALL YOU NEED IN ONE WORKSPACE
Comments: My experience is really good. I use it in my company and also for personal use and it is really complete solution.
Pros:
The possibility to share documents, sheets and files across organization and friends
Cons:
There is no client versione for collaborations tools such as word, excel and so on. I mean that the web version is not easy to use compared to microsft tools. However Googlw apps are widely available on all the devices and also are integrated with the gmail account.
Great but could be better
Comments: Overall I really like it. It's my go-to for pretty much everything work-related. I love how seamlessly everything connects. Going between emails, Docs, Meetings, and the rest is so smooth. It rally helps our productivity, especially when collaborating with others. The real-time teamwork features are great and being able to access everything from anywhere is super convenient. As mentioned it has a few quirks, like occasional offline syncing issues and maybe a slightly too simple design at times. But overall, Google Workspace is a winner in my book. It just makes work easier and more efficient.
Pros:
I like how smoothly all the apps work together. It makes juggling emails, documents, meetings, and everything else a breeze. The real-time collaboration is a game-changer for our team.
Cons:
Honestly, I can't fault it overall, but if I had to pick something that bugs me, it's probably the hiccups with offline access. Sometimes, when I'm working offline, things don't sync perfectly, or I can't access all the features I need. It's not a dealbreaker, but its definitely frustrating when it happens. Also, while I like the clean and simple design of the apps, sometimes I find them a bit too basic. I occasionally miss some of the more advanced features and customization options you get with other suites.
Best client management suite for its versatility
Comments: My experience has been great. Google Workspace provides a comprehensive platform to track, work, and automate my client files.
Pros:
The integration of the workspace with its individual apps makes this a perfect client management software
Cons:
What I like least is that sometimes the individual apps are not as intuitive as I would like.
Crucial for Online Enterprises
Comments: I’ve been using Google Workspace since it was G Suite, and I have nothing but praise for it. I recommend it to everyone. I use Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, Email, Calendar, and Agenda. Everything works in real-time, allowing for easy sharing with my team and selected external collaborators. It's all very user-friendly and straightforward.
Pros:
It provides everything I need to manage my key daily tasks. I use Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive, Email, Calendar, and Agenda. Everything operates in real-time, allowing for easy sharing with my team and selected external contacts.
Cons:
It's tough to pinpoint what I like least since I use almost everything daily. If I had to mention something, I would suggest adding an option to create a custom login page for emails, like webmail.yourdomain.com, which would direct to a tailored login screen instead of going straight to Gmail. That's the only change I would make; everything else works great.
Google Workspace Is A Requirement For Our Success
Comments: Overall Google Workspace is a non-negotiable necessity for our organization. With Mail as our primary inbound and outbound system for our SSO as well as outreach, it's simple and integrated across multiple channels. Calendar is very easy to use for internal meeting management and the ability to add, or copy invites to calendars are frequently used. It's also our primary PTO tracking, and scheduling measure. Google Meet is largely our most used feature (outside of Drive Storage) because it's very easy to use and share across all of our departments. With the ability to add the invite meeting to the calendar invite very easily, we have very little issues with meeting with any internal or external partners. The ability to alter calendars based on timezone is helpful to navigate across multiple markets we service. Overall, as many companies evaluate software, for our organization, Google Workspace is a requirement.
Pros:
Google Workspace is incredibly efficient for our team to collaborate, save data, and navigate our stored documents, procedures, lists and all of the important features that we need to effectively run the organisation. We are frequent users of Mail, Drive, Calendar, Meet, and Chat to improve our experience and communication.
Cons:
Google Chat is outperformed by other third party tools for internal communication, as well as limited at least from our experience, in inviting third party collaborators to chat directly with teams on Chat.
Google Workspace is largely positive, especially for productivity and collaboration.
Comments: Overall, Google Workspace is an excellent platform for everyday business productivity, communication, and collaboration. It shines particularly in team environments, where real-time interaction and file-sharing are crucial.
Pros:
Google Workspace, the ability for multiple users to edit Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides simultaneously with real-time updates is incredibly efficient. It removes version control issues and encourages teamwork.
Cons:
Feature Limitations in Google Docs and Sheets: Although Docs and Sheets are great for collaboration, they sometimes lack advanced Microsoft Word or Excel features. Complex formatting, advanced data analysis tools, and more intricate design elements are more challenging to execute in Google’s simpler interfaces.
Honest google workspace review
Comments: I must say, google workspace is great, the connection between all google apps, makes it really nice, and because there is lot of apps, we don’t have to use many external apps or services. Google services are known by pretty much everybody, so I did not have to learn anything new. I dont like the google chat app. But thats pretty much the only downside.
Pros:
Lots of features, its pretty much an ecosystem than workspace, thats really great. The connection between gmail, docs, sheets, meet, etc is great. All in one place. Sheets, gmail, calendar, meet, those are all very good apps.
Cons:
I dont like google chat app that much in google workspace, slack offers more functionalities. Like schedules messages (gmail has this functionality tho), custom emojis; etc. Also web/pc version supports some functionalities which mobile app doesn’t.
Overall Experience with Google Workspace
Comments: My overall experience with Google Workspace has been mostly positive. It’s become an essential part of my daily routine, allowing my team and me to collaborate seamlessly. The ability to edit documents in real time has really changed the way we work together. However, I’ve faced some hiccups, especially with internet dependency and occasionally complex permission settings. Still, the convenience of having everything in one place—email, calendar, and files—keeps us organized. It’s not perfect, but it’s made remote work much more manageable and has helped foster a sense of connection within our team. I genuinely appreciate the flexibility it offers!
Pros:
Google Workspace has transformed the way my team collaborates. Its seamless integration of tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Meet makes real-time collaboration effortless, allowing us to work together no matter where we are. The user-friendly interface feels intuitive, even for those less tech-savvy. Plus, the cloud storage means we never have to worry about losing important files. I appreciate the versatility in communication—whether it’s a quick chat or a video call, everything is in one place. Overall, Google Workspace has boosted our productivity and fostered a more connected team environment, making work not just easier, but more enjoyable!
Cons:
While Google Workspace offers many benefits, there are a few drawbacks I've encountered. For starters, the reliance on a stable internet connection can be frustrating; when connectivity dips, our productivity takes a hit. I also find that some advanced features in apps like Sheets and Docs don’t match up to those in traditional software, which can limit our work. Additionally, managing permissions and sharing settings can get a bit tricky, leading to accidental access issues. Lastly, while the integration is great, it sometimes feels overwhelming with all the apps available. Overall, it’s a solid tool, but it’s not without its quirks!
All your work tools at same place
Comments: I like the facilitation Google workspace provides me by putting together all the necessary tools, which I need to use on a daily basis, at the same place. This saves ample amount of time and makes me more productive.
Pros:
I like the thing that I am still a part of the same ecosystem when I switch from document processing to spreadsheet work or Jamboard or email.
Cons:
Sometimes it becomes a little dull and boring to see the same features as a common elements across the different tools.
communication and workplace synergy
Comments: I really enjoy it! Our organization is using more and more Google programs which has really helped our communication and productivity. We have people working in many locations so being able to get information out rapidly to a broad web of people and over several platforms is instrumental to how we currently function.
Pros:
If you take advantage of other google apps in your organization (docs, meet, calendar etc.) they all communicate with one another but more importantly, they communicate with other team members. The ability to share information across devices and workspaces in invaluable.
Cons:
There is a bit of a learning curve coming from other apps. Because information sharing is so easy throughout the workplace (including file deletion), the need for a moderator of some kind might be necessary.
Great for collaboration in remote teams
Comments: Fantastic. I'd quickly recommend and/or use Google Workspace in other settings.
Pros:
I love all the google products and how easy it is to share between users and/or devices. It's great to have a hub where I can control business email/users, domains, etc., and the collaboration options are fantastic. I've used google workspace and its tools with remote teams and love it.
Cons:
Google is so big that it gets a bit bloated. It isn't a dealbreaker, but sometimes I have to click for a while to find a setting or option I don't use often.
Google Workspace is the only space you need to work
Comments: There is an initial steep learning curve, but like anything else, practice makes progress. You will eventually get it down and everything becomes a lot more clear and easy to manage. Google has a ton of detailed but succinct documentation available online that walks you through everything step by step. If this is not enough to help you, Google Admin's built in customer support is always available and very helpful. Whenever I have had to reach out to them, I'm usually being helped by a support agent within 5 minutes either via live chat or on the phone. They always resolve my issues and are very good about reaching back out to you if necessary or if communication get interrupted. Google Workspace is a tool I use every single day at work.
Pros:
I really love how Google workspace has an application solution for everything. Google Docs, sheets, slides, etc. They have everything from email with Gmail, remote video teleconferencing with Google Meet, or endless cloud storage with Google Drive, they really have everything and do it well.
Cons:
The GUI or user interface with Google Admin and Google Workspace can be a little daunting at first. There are so many sections and submenus, you won't turn every dial to accomplish what you need, but they definitely have a knob for everything.
