Comments: It is a much needed software as we are able to maintain a great connection with our clients, we have increased our client database, our clients are now attracted to our services, the interaction is very good and it has very good email automation and receptive on the part of our clientele.

Pros:

It is a simple software to configure, sending notifications is very fast, it makes it easy to always offer the best to our customers, we attract our customers thanks to the multiple functions that OneSignal offers, it is a very fast system, it has powerful customer segmentation, It is essential for us and for attracting new customers.

Cons:

On one occasion notifications were delayed, we don't know why, but it has been a great concern for which we have not received a response. They must provide an answer to concerns that we are generally unaware of.

Using One Signal to increase user retention

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: We are using One Signal to engage visitors of our site and mobile apps.

Pros:

I like the user friendly admin panel for non tech-savvy users and the integration with many services/platforms.

Cons:

I tThe pricing model has a big jump between the free version to the next tier. I will think in a mid-cost plan for small and medium size business.

Alternatives Considered: Firebase and Gravitec

Reasons for Choosing OneSignal: At the moment of the evaluation Pushwoosh doesn't had SDK for mobile apps and doesn't offered free tier for testing or small projects

Switched From: Pushwoosh

Reasons for Switching to OneSignal: The support for many platforms/services and the ease to use

Nothing seems to work and sup[port hasnt been able to help at all

2.0 6 years ago

Pros:

the concept is fantastic. Unfortunately with my experience they dont seem to deliver what is promised

Cons:

Its very difficult to set up to a working standard (still not achieved even with support) despite it being an easy plugin. I can not get ANY subscribed users to actually receive any notifications. I have tried ALL troubleshooting options to no avail. 1/10 As support is in another country its more or less impossible for me to get any help.

5.0 5 months ago

Pros:

I was able to control the Push Notifications for my web and mobile apps with OneSignal. It shows me the realtime updates and help me keeping my customers engaged with target devices. The ease of integration with push notifications is quite easy to implement.

Cons:

With onesignal everything is fine for me However, If i want to send push notification to specifics users this is not possible with onesignal also if they could provide support of webhook applications it would be more fun :)

I'm so glad I found OneSignal for web push notifications!

5.0 last year

Comments: My overall experience with OneSignal has been overwhelmingly positive

Pros:

I was looking for a web push notification solution and had thought I would implement myself but the more I looked into it the more I realised this was a fairly complicated thing to do. Then I discovered OneSignal and they had done all the hard work for me. It was really simple to integrate with my website and I was able to get started for free which was great. I needed some assistance with a configuration issue and can vouch for their technical support. I was up and running with web push notifications in no time.

Cons:

Honestly, I am yet to find any cons about using OneSignal for web push notifications

The Perfect Notification Service

4.0 last year

Comments: I find my overall experience with OneSignal very pleasing. The easiness of deployment is particularly great from the eyes of a developer.

Pros:

When I was looking for a notification solution for my app, I found OneSignal to be very easy to integrate and deploy to my stack. A quick read of the documentation allows me to have a good idea of how the API works. Furthermore, I only need to add a couple lines to have the notification service ready on my clients.

Cons:

I did encounter errors with deployment and the documentation didn't cover said error. I had to search around for the solution but eventually found it.

best push notification

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: We use on our magazine to brodcast new content and promotion to our readers. IS VERY GOOD!

Pros:

I bought a another app but i switch to one signal. We use in our magazine, we send more than 100.000 notification daily. - Insanly good notification service - can track reach, click and other stats - integrate with wordpress (they have plugin) - can segment audience - can send manual push notification - Can integrate native and with popup - Easy to use - Can send automatic notification and schedule - Integrate with alot of other service like Mautic or Zapier. - IS FREE! Support is amazing, i do request add UTM code to track, and they help me to implement on the code. Later they add the option in the plugin. So they help and wanna improve the product. This is one of the best way to reach your audience.

Cons:

Not really. Is very good. Maybe the install is kind tricky is you dont have any experience with code or install. But overall is one of the best service i use. I dont have any complain or issue. Work perfect.

Cross Platform Push Support

5.0 6 years ago

Pros:

Real-time update of Subscribed and Unsubscribed users to push notifications service. The best tool to increase traffic and keep your engaged subscribers by sending push notifications.

Cons:

In a rare situation of migrating to a new domain name or App, you cannot carry the subscribers along which makes them useless.

All-arounder for mobile app users

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Surprisingly compact all-arounder platform for user engagement.

Pros:

I really like that i can send sms, push, in-app messages and emails from one place to one segmentation. It combines a lot of things i need into one neat box. This takes a lot less time to set up as opposed to having them separately.

Cons:

It takes time to figure out and i sometimes need help from our tech team to understand the triggers and deep linking for push.

Used to be the best

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: Timely notifications to readers/listeners. Connecting with them almost instantaneously was a good feeling. It was fun while it lasted

Pros:

It would do exactly what it claimed to do 9 out of 10 times. Clearly was light years ahead of the competition.

Cons:

The slightest change (http to https) meant that I lost all my subscribers that I had worked hard to build over a few years. It was the biggest letdown before they added the paid service.

Best Push Notification Tool

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: My overall experience with OneSignal Push Notification is very good. But I am rating it 8 out of 10 due to some high price, that is not acceptable.

Pros:

One Signal is best push notification tool in my eye. I am using this from last two years. It has many features like you can send notification using Intelligence delivery so that your CTR will increase, you can schedule your notification. Moreover, you can integrate OneSignal with your CRM like WordPress.

Cons:

The only thing i did't like of OneSignal is pricing. Obviously it is free upto 30K users but if you have 200k users then you have to pay $500 per month and it is quiet high.

Multi- Platform Marketing Tool

5.0 3 years ago

Pros:

Free Plan- We first started out with this offer, and the results were pretty amazing. Then, after three months we as an organization decided to level up and purchased Growth plan. With Growth plan, we were able to reach out to a larger target through emails and SMS. The budget for Growth Plans is affordable. Works well with push notifications about events in our organization to our clients and potential clients. These push-up notifications are delivered in a moment and give us metrics on the delivered and failed notifications.

Cons:

The implementation can be a bit technical when configuring push notification software to non-developers. There is a limitation to 3rd party service providers. So, we cant integrate with other Apps

A free push notification software?! Sign me up!

5.0 7 years ago

Comments: A push notification service for free! There's no greater benefit than zero cost to consumer!

Pros:

At the price (free) this software simply cannot be beat. We were using a much more expensive software for over a year until we finally came across One Signal, which has all the same capabilities for free!

Cons:

The implementation of any push notification software can be a bit technical to non-developers, but that's the nature of the beast, and certainly not the fault of One Signal, who has made the process as simple as it can possibly be. Great software, don't miss the opportunity, just hire a freelance developer to implement if you can't figure it out on your own.
