The software is modular and the process flow of each module is consistent. This allows users to train on (and master) new tasks in the software quickly using the same principles learned on previous modules. The interface is clean and simple, well laid out, and not distracting. Keyboard shortcuts abound, making it easy to access information and complete repetitive tasks more quickly. Reporting options are robust in each module of the software. Customizing the stock reports is quick and easy with a GUI report designer built in as well as the capability to add custom reports using the included Report Writer. InxSQL uses Microsoft SQL Server as its back end and has a very logical table structure, allowing ODBC to be used to create an unlimited array of custom reports using Crystal Reports, MS Access, etc if that is your preference. Customer support is bar none the best I have with any software I run in my data center. I get a real person on the phone with each call, and every issue I have had has been addressed with the appropriate level of priority. InxSQL listens closely to their user base and works very hard to improve the software and add new features in each successive release. I have not worked with a more attentive software developer when it comes to enhancement requests and problem resolutions. On the rare occasions when custom programming has been required for my company, the charges have been very reasonable and each custom addition is well integrated into the existing software. > > **Cons**: Our company migrated to InxSQL from an AS/400 based software in 2010. Since going live, there have been very few negatives experienced that have not been addressed or are not currently in the process of being addressed. Additions include website/web store integration, inventory management with handheld devices, customer service tracking, and more.
