Awesome ITAM tool!
Comments: We switched over to AssetSonar from EZOfficeInventory; same team, same great support staff, much better product for managing IT assets. We've been able to tag and track around 500 IT assets - laptops, printers, networking equipment - and keep an eye on warranties, maintenance schedules, and procurement details. This is all spread out over 200 people, and it never feels like work. It's improved our visibility into our equipment, the reports are in-depth, and we've cut down at least an hour a day on managing our IT operations.
Pros:
The AssetSonar agent makes it really easy to put IT asset details into the system. We're able to manage IT asset lifecycles across our three main locations. Makes it so easy to be organized and on top of things.
Cons:
Not much. Only had one bug so far but it was resolved the same day, so I can't complain.

Asset Sonar Rocks!
Comments: I am impressed with the attitude, service, quality of pricing, and outstanding employees Asset Sonar offers.
Pros:
The ease that [sensitive content hidden], and so many others are available to assist with our inquiry needs.
Cons:
There were many bugs with the program, but Asset Sonar corrected those issues within a timely fashion.
It does what it data in the box!
Comments: Very good! It’s helped us to get greater control of our assets and gain vital insights as to where our physical assets are, including our spares
Pros:
For tracking assets, being able to identify who as what, the tool is perfect!
Cons:
The mobile app needs more work. It feels a little clunky, but that’s not a major negative compared to what it can do!
Fantastic for asset management tracking and compliance
Comments: The team at AssetSonar have been fantastic. Their engagement model is very results-oriented - they want to make sure you can implement effectively and benefit from the functionality. We have reached out for advice on several occasions and this has quickly led to a video conference and solutions. Our feature ideas/requests have been received positively, but are often already being considered by the AssetSonar development team ... it's helpful knowing that they are also focussed on making improvements and responding to market trends.
Pros:
This is a heavily featured tool. Setting it up takes time but is worth the effort. For government, it is ticking so many compliance boxes and gives great visibility to operational management. The ability to use software agents to gather info on PC devices is great automation. Emailing staff for self-service custodianship verification is extremely useful - it turns traditional stock-take on its head by decentralising the effort.
Cons:
The product is not a magic wand ... unfortunately! It takes ongoing administration to keep the tool up to date with the many IT asset lifecycles being managed. But that's also why the tool is so valuable - it brings clarity to complex IT operations.

There is no feature to build a map with all the CI's in order to build the CMDB
