> **Pros**: Access to data / uploading is restricted  based on ERP role access so data is secure; table and journal uploads are validated prior to completion preventing erroneous data uploading; table formatting is based on Excel setup so it feels familiar; numerous templates are provided on the Globesoftware site to get new users started so inventing from scratch is not always necessary.

> **Cons**: The software is powerful, but not intuitive without training. Training is provided in multiple formats, but can be costly if not planned well prior to purchasing the tool. Volume discounts for license purchases cannot be reached for small teams because the quantities are too high.
> 
> I have used the Atlas tool with two different companies and have been really impressed. It allows for dynamic querying of Dynamics AX, as well as simple and efficient table and journal uploading. The access to real-time data during close processes is a huge benefit for capturing last-minute entries.
