Cons:

What frustrates me is my inability to utilise features which i value on account of cost

A couple of years on Tresorit

Comments: The seamless synchronisation over a couple of workstations and tablets works great. Also the possibility of sending large files to customers in a secure way is usefull. However most of my customers have not heard of or are not using Tresorit.

Pros:

The straight forward interface and the assurance files are properly synchronized. In pre-Covid times we used to be on customer sites world wide. And at that point it is vital having the most recent project files at hand.

Cons:

The synchronisation with pictures taken on a phone. Sometimes they sync automatically , sometimes they need to be enticed to be synchronised. Not a big issue as not the main purpose of using Tresorit.

Good reliable choice

Comments: For me, Tresorit is a good choice because
- I don't have to worry about something not being saved or synchronised, it works absolutely reliably so far.
- Tresorit has acceptable pricing
- the user interface is simple and clear
- it comes from Switzerland (and not US) :)

Pros:

Saving files is absolut reliable, no worries about loosing work. Price performance is good. And Tresorit is easy to use with a convenient user interface.

Cons:

What I really don't like is that the current work is uploaded immediately when it is saved and it is not possible to continue working while it is being uploaded. This disrupts the workflow to some extent.

Stable and secure cloud storage

Comments: Positive and happy with it!

Pros:

Using the software since 2018 I like the positive evolution of the product. All added functionalities were well thought and useful

Cons:

That some customers had problems using it and, as it seems, there might be bans in certain countries for encrypted file sharing...

Excellent software, allows for piece of mind

Comments: Absolutely excellent experience. Going from hard drive manual back-up to this has helped a lot, allowing me to have my files saved automatically and accessible amywhere. I have never had problems with losing work, or not finding previous versions thanks to Tresorit's many tools. Also the perfect way to share files with friends and colleagues.

Pros:

- Plenty of secure storage (with top-quality encryption) - Constant upload (saves your files whenever you update them), so you're sure not to lose anything - Good file recovery - Excellent for sharing large files (with both Tresorit users and non) and for sharing them securely (can require a password and such) - Extremely easy to use, with a clean user interface - Possibility to access files from mobile phone and other devices is very useful

Cons:

Only thing I am missing as a Premium user is the "File Request" function (to receive large files securely from others) and possibly some more control on who sees the files you share.

Tresorit is a good choice for GDPR safe cloud backup

Comments: Hassle-free.

Pros:

It's very easy to setup, can run in the background and just does what it should do: Encrypting and backing up your data in a safe place.

Cons:

Compared to other solutions it is a bit more expensive.

Tresorit is in a league of its own.

Pros:

Easy and powerful. Very secure. Search works. Can store anything I want. No weird one photo at a time like drop box. Super easy to share and control sharing unlike Gdrive.

Cons:

I honestly can’t think of anything I don’t like about tresorit. I’ve been waiting for this solution for over a decade. They nailed it.

Total Security of your web assets

Comments: total comfort and peach with all the web assets, highly recommended

Pros:

The user interfaces, version of the documents, encryption and the way it syncs in many devices,, just love this

Cons:

The price and the search options i have been telling tresorit since i have started uusing it since its inception, seen the feature now though

Great software for cloud storage

Pros:

Tresorit offers a great platform for storing documents in the cloud and allowing members from our team to access documents across the office, whether they are in office or working remotely. It is very easy to use and share with other. We have had no issues with security and we trust that our information is safe in the cloud.

Cons:

It is not as popular as other cloud storage platforms and therefore sometimes we have issues integrating third party applications.

Tresorit makes my life as photographer easier

Pros:

I love, that I can be sure on any time, that I can access all my documents and pictures where and when I want. And I'm super happy, that they are secure. Especially, when it comes to sharing the pictures with my clients.

Cons:

I would love to synchronize not only the camera roll folder on my mobile automatically. Hopefully this feature will be introduced soon.

THE BEST and Most Secure Corporate File Sharing Solution

Comments: We use Tresorit to share critical and sensitive documents between our various teams. Users on different OS and hardware platforms has been flawlessly implemented.

Pros:

The P2P encryption and other security measures was critical to our selection.

Cons:

Honestly, I cannot think of one thing that we do not like about Tresorit. They NAILED it!

Well, pretty nothing appears to me to be 'liked least'.

I'll Be A Customer for Life

Comments: Overall, I'm very pleased with what Tresorit offers and I'll be a happy customer for a very long time.

Pros:

The thing I like most about Tresorit is the seamless integration between my devices, both PC and Mac. It's been a smooth transition moving over from Dropbox. I also share a lot of private documents/images and Tresorit makes the process easy and secure. It's absolutely worth the higher price as compared to other cloud storage services.

Cons:

I store a lot of images and the preview can take some time to appear in my finder. It almost seems as if it's having to download the file to my system before it lets me see what it is. It may be due to another reason, but it's a bit frustrating especially when I'm in a hurry.

Fully content with this product

Comments: Very good. Have been using it on 2 workplaces, since we have 2 offices. As well from a laptop.

Pros:

The most important part was, that it is encrypted on the way to the server as well as on the server itself, which is the only way to maintain security. That way even the server owner can not access the content. Being an accounting firm with detailed information about our customers we needed a safe and secure storage place. As we have 2 offices, I can use the data from the TRESORIT as a cloud on both maschines. As well when I am in my holidays I can access date on my laptop over the cloud. Additinally it gives me the security, that if any of my computers are bogged, broken, hacked or whatever, I always have the data available. It is a backup of all my important files.

Cons:

When you access a file on another computer, then the one where your original data is stored on, there is always a little delay for the files to open.

Tresorit review

Comments: One of the best synchronization softwares tha easily gives possibility of identifying for the synchronized positions also different hard disks within the devices

Pros:

The files synchronization in the different devices takes place perfectly and quickly

Cons:

There is no real massive backup procedure in the Cloud so that it is possible to recover entire folders and groups of files from previous versions, for example in the event of ransomware attacks. It is now possible to recover previous versions of single files individually and this is clearly a big lack that needs to be overcome

Tresorit Review

Comments: It solves partially the research problem of the inability to travel with a large library. And it solves the problem of potential data losses with dying devices. It also made some research collaborations a lot easier.

Pros:

I like the smooth synchronization RE I don't need to worry about backups of my most important files and I don't have to worry about any ransom attacks. The synchronization between different platforms also works very well. The file and folder sharing folder option makes life much easier.

Cons:

I had some issues with saving notes through my tablet I use mostly for reading whenever I opened files in the cloud, though that might be more a problem of the tablet software than a Tresorit problem.

Perfect solution

Pros:

I can not find any disadvantages at the moment

My only choice for secure cloud backup

Comments: Great! Easy to install and use. However, I am a software engineer.

Pros:

I mostly use it as a secure backup of my personal data. I love the automatic sync feature: set it and forget it. I occasionally share some files with others that time out and I also store my password vault within Tresorit. I highly appreciate that the company operates under Swiss laws.

Cons:

User must trust Tresorit. Full trust can only be gained with open source code. It would be nice to pick the physical location of my files.

Ditched Dropbox for Tresorit and very happy

Comments: Easy to use, reliable, flexible. Just what's needed for this type of software.

Pros:

Knowing about the encryption is reassuring, but the performance of the file synchronisation is much better than Dropbox. This is really good. I have a large amount of files and Dropbox used to have problems regularly where the file synchronisation was working for hours. Tresorit does the file synchronisation as I'D expect. Also, sharing folders is easy and intuitive. The desktop app for Tresorit is really good too.

Cons:

When I first starting using Tresorit, the concept of a Tresor wasn't easy to grasp. But, once I got used to it, it makes so much sense and adds so much flexibility. I really like this now.

I (and my data) don't want to be the product

Pros:

The privacy put at the core of the service. Very smooth integration in computer and smartphone. The sync app works like a charm!

Cons:

There are not enough people using it ;-)

A bit expensive as it doesn't offer middle tiers (1 TB space subscription for example).
