Easy to use, top tier customer service!

Pros:

The level of service our team gets from Kangaroo is out of this world. From setup to ongoing support, they've answered our questions with patience and ease. [sensitive content hidden] has been of the top examples of best customer service I've seen across all of our vendors.

Cons:

Nothing yet! Some features were "wishlist" and they've already delivered on some and are looking into implementing others.

FiveStars to Kangaroo Transition

Comments: The transition to Kangaroo has been a learning process, but overall I am satisfied with the product. The redemption is streamlined and the marketing will be manageable once it is setup. The setup was more cumbersome than I had planned on, but that comes with any transition.

Pros:

The overall transition has gone smoother than I expected. I like that the program integrates with Shopify POS. The staff feels it is easier to use and there are fewer steps than FiveStars. Customer support has been available and checked in multiple times to ensure the transition was working. Our customers like that they don't have to enter their information. It's easier for them.

Cons:

The customer list transferred into Kangaroo, but not into Shopify, which leads to the risk of duplicate customers or no names attached to customers. The auto marketing campaign does not have wording setup and the offer expiration is not able to convert to the actual dates it expired.

Best Loyalty Program hands down!

Comments: I really like Kangaroo mainly for the stability and continued improvements that has outlive so many of my other software tools. I like it that I can rely on Kangaroo instead of having to changes vendors like my other software tools.

Pros:

Kangaroo has been a steady program for my business since I first joined them years ago. I have since gone through multiple other software for my POS and Inventory management needs and Kangaroo has been able to adapt and scale with my changes through these years and has actually improved as we upgraded our other software. We continue to adapt to the ecommerce channel and I am confident that Kangaroo will be there with us through our future changes.

Cons:

There's really no cons since every issue that we've had has been addressed by their support team and they always find a solution even if it isn't always the exact solution.

Comments: The learning curve hasn't been too difficult and where my managers or associates had questions, support was happy to arrange a demonstration/training. Our customers and employees are excited to have the program.

Pros:

Easy to navigate and integrate into POS and website. Customer service and support are fast and professional with a dedicated team.

Cons:

Feature requests for future updates: Individual account login by retail location (Admin and Manager level permissions). CSV customer export. Ability to use customer-facing tablet for program signup as well as POS checkout. Sorting options in Customer Dashboard.

Comments: Positive. There are things we still need to learn, but as we go along the support staff has been very helpful.

Pros:

Kangaroo has a lot of features - some of which as new customers we are still scratching the surface on. The customer support as we began implementing the product has been great, especially with [sensitive content hidden].

Cons:

It is expensive. However if the product delivers what we need, it will be worth it.

Loyalty Program with Kangaroo

Comments: It was an added value for customer retention efforts and building a streamlined customer data base that you can access anytime.

Pros:

The fact that Kangaroo provides an actual customized application for the end user to download and use is great. The support team is very helpful and responsive.

Cons:

The admin dashboard is a bit confusing but like everything you can get used to it after a while of using it, but the support team is always available to guide you along the way.

Seamless integration with Lightspeed, and Kickstarted our Rewards Club

Comments: Overall our experience with kangaroo has been very good. Their customer service is quick to respond and walk you though issues. It's been a good experience for me!

Pros:

It seamlessly syncs back with Lightspeed Retail and eCom. There are loads of ways to create campaigns for email or SMS and then segment your customers in a campaign by dates, spend, tags, points, purchase history... lots of options!!! And the auto-campaign features are excellent- set up a campaign and make it automated. They have some out of the box, like birthday greetings. These can be attached to campaign that offer discounts or other promos so help to keep you Top of Mind. Kangaroo has helped us initiate and manage our Rewards Club and stay in touch with custoemrs.

Cons:

It's not always intuitive to use. Kangaroo did a UI revamp but to me the older portal which is still accessible is more intuitive. The reporting needs some work such that campaign result metrics can be more easily compared for performance. You'll have to purchase SMS credits and these expire at month end. So you have to plan your campaign spend via SMS.

You won't be disappointed!

Comments: After trying a few different reward programs, we can honestly say that Kangaroo is the most user friendly, bang for your buck program on the market. Customer service is top notch and always available during working hours.

Pros:

Ease of use and extraordinary customer service. Being able to utilize our own devices. Personalization geared toward our organization.

Cons:

There was truly nothing about Kangaroo that we did not like.

A Pleasant and Seamless Experience with Kangaroo Rewards and Team

Comments: Overall our experience with Kangaroo was very positive. There were multiple trainings and guidance along the way that made us more than prepared for our loyalty program launch. We were left with a ton of resources that support our team. We know it has been a successful integration based on the positive feedback from our customers and the minimal troubleshooting post-launch.

Pros:

Not only was it the functionality of Kangaroo that made this relationship a success, but also their amazing customer service. We worked with Janice and she was incredibly helpful, available, and knowledgable at all times. Live Chat and the entire customer service team made this integration seamless for us.

Cons:

Not much to say about things we liked the least. The only issues we ran into were design customization as it relates to branding. Definitely room for improvement but not a deal breaker.

Pros:

Fantastic customer service from [sensitive content hidden] from initially setting up our rewards scheme through to answering any questions and dealing with any issues we had very quickly. It's easy for us to manage and also simple for our customers to use.

Cons:

The cross over between the new dashboard and the old portal can be frustrating to use at times. Some functions and information can only be performed/displayed on one, but not the other. Often find it freezing having to log back in. However I'm sure this will be ironed out.

I honestly was amazed by the all in one marketing platform. The marketing team can run everything from this dashboard without having to leave it.
