The folder structuring is pretty standard compared to other platforms but Box does a really good job with granular collaboration permissions from the parent folder and down. Configuring organization wide settings is easy to setup as well. UI is modern, clean, and easy to navigate. > > **Cons**: Box is a little on the pricier side when compared to other platforms and some of the more advanced features are hidden behind an additional license/add-on. There is no native "team/shared folder" feature. If you need to create a team/shared folder, it has to be created within someone's individual account. You essentially need to start off with creating a service account user and then creating all your team/shared folders within that service account. > > Box overall is a very good file storage and collaboration platform. Web interface is easy to use and navigate and the desktop app syncs and works well within File Explorer or Finder. Its great when collaborating with external users because you can either give them access to a folder with granular permissions or you can generate a link for them to upload files to only. But I'm not offended: they also refuse to respond to the credit card company and the Better Business Bureau. Either Box is terribly managed or they actually care more about a few thousand dollars than about their reputation as corporate pirates.
