I mainly monitor websites I design and manage for different clients. When a site goes down, I am able to alert that specific client through the different contact groups I am able to set up. Alerts are instant and can be fully customizable. Different clients need different types of monitoring which Pingometer fully provides with their wide variety of monitors to choose from. Transaction monitors have proven very useful with e-commerce sites. The UI/UX is the best I have seen by far. Other monitoring companies tend to have dull and confusing platforms which makes using them a drag. Pingometer is easy to look at and easy to use. While other uptime companies put a limit on the amount of alerts you can get for free, Pingometer gives me unlimited alerts. With all the sites I am monitoring, alerts can rack up really fast, so free alerts was huge. I conducted lots of research, trying out different uptime companies, and Pingometer is by far the best in terms of both product and price. I definitely recommend it to anyone with a website.
