MRPeasy continues to provide the highest bang per buck for small manufacturers. The system has evolved to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution that covers purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and accounting. Features that stand out are: -- easy to use; user-friendly -- actual costing (rather than standard costing) -- material lot traceability is standard out-of-the-box -- shop floor interface for labor reporting is clean and simple -- material requirements are easily converted to POs or MOs -- customer support via the in-system ticketing system is good

Cons:

I wish it was able to recursively auto-create MOs for subassemblies at lower BOM levels

MRPeasy has positively changed our processes

Comments: MRPeasy has changed our processes massively for the better. We now have ultimate stock control and manufacturing accuracy which was loose before we started with the program. As the site manager I can track costs and inventory saving me huge amounts of time and improving our profit margins by monitoring expences and overheads.

Pros:

The ability to work with multiple processes in different stages and related multiple items. MRPeasy is user friendly and came out top when we tested compared to other software programs for ease of use.

Cons:

We process products which go through multiple stages of production. Although MRPeasy can do this well, we have to copy the data regularly which can be a little labourious. Packaging is a great function but it is not perfect yet for the way we package and supply finished goods.

Alternatives Considered: Odoo and Katana Cloud Inventory

Reasons for Choosing MRPeasy: We got too big for google sheets and the level of tracking required with google.

Reasons for Switching to MRPeasy: Easier to use and seemed to suit our manufacturing processes better.

Comments: Easy to use, there is room for improvement on the gross profit side

Cannot give correct GP reports based on time management. You cannot modify headings as you want to. serial numbers are only taking per kg

Cons:

While MRPeasy offered a range of useful features, one aspect I liked least was the limited flexibility in customization. Some specific business requirements or industry-specific needs couldn't be easily accommodated within the system. It would have been beneficial to have more options for tailoring certain aspects to align with the unique needs of the organization. Additionally, the integration capabilities with other software or systems could be improved.

MRP is very simple to use

Comments: Very easy to use. You can understand all the modules easily and all updates is in real time.it works very well and happy with all functions

Pros:

The inventory, manufacturing modules are very good. Happy with ease of use.

Cons:

it has no crm that enables communicating directly with customers. it would be good if we can integrate third part crm for example hubspot. Would also like there to be an approval system for customers or suppliers.

MRPeasy for manufacturing 3D printer

Comments: Overall it is a very good package especially with the BOM. Also what I like is the continuous updating. Also in case of support the response is relatively quick.

Pros:

Back then, the most important feature was the multilayer BOM. Most competitors were only able to go 1 level deep. Or otherwise the costs would go up significantly. Also for us MRP easy became essential for stock management, purchasing, supplier management. The interface is also very intuitive compared to other softwares

Cons:

During procurement, you have to send a mail, this process can be improved. It opens directly to your mail account, but only a link to the PDF document. I want to attach the PDF. It takes the general contact information, instead of the responsible person of the company. Next to this it messes up the layout of the mail message.

Alternatives Considered: Odoo

Reasons for Switching to MRPeasy: The overall look and feel and during testing, it was the most complete package for our needs.

Multi-level OEM Production and Procurement Planning

Comments: Excellent. The product team continues to add functionality which has been helpful to us. We are growing along with the application.

Pros:

The system pegs all inventory which allows for detailed forward and backward production planning.

Cons:

We would like to have it plan production orders instead of having to manually drill down into our multi-level bill of materials.

Reasons for Choosing MRPeasy: The integration of MISys to Sage 50 was very burdensome. Also MISys is a traditional MRP system. It does not peg inventory lots for supply and demand.

Excellent MRP system for this small manufacturer

Comments: Excellent product with excellent customer support. From the start, they were very helpful as we implemented and transitioned and continue to give us top notch support - even though we are a tiny business.

Pros:

One of the only MRP systems that fits our needs. We are a small manufacturer that sells wholesale to our dealers, and keeping track of our inventory and forecasting future manufacturing needs and purchasing requirements are key. MRPEasy has allowed us to meet both of those goals. Also, there customer support and success operations are very responsive and top notch!

Cons:

While it is good at the order processing function, there are some tweaks that could be made for those of us that drop ship to our dealer's customers. No deal breakers though - this is an excellent product.

Reasons for Choosing MRPeasy: Prior product did not have the functionality to forecast our manufacturing and purchasing needs and was too buggy.

Switched From: SOS Inventory

Reasons for Switching to MRPeasy: MRP forecasting capabilities. We need to see out 6-12 months due to long lead times for certain components.

MRP is the best software for manufacturers!

Comments: Im very happy with MRP, I would just like if the price was a little bit lower in my opinion. But overall it is worth it in the long term. Since this software will help me alot.

Pros:

I really like that the software is very complex and have alot of functions. Functions I didn't think I needed but really want to use now. It is very quick to use and find items etc. I love that I can have control of basically everything.

Cons:

The problem I have is that it takes a while for me to set my inventory up with MRP, but thats most likely because I have not had a great stock control earlier and I have choosen to convert alot of products to BOM in order to have full control of the products cost, time to make and stock for each part.

MRP for small companies

Comments: It has been Satisfactory to use, and extremely helpful.

Pros:

MRPeasy has facilitated our inventory control, so we have more visibility on the items that are critical on hand and allows us to take preventive measurements if the component is in backorder. I spent much less time doing inventory and actually looking for ways to improve the workflow as our company grows bigger.

Cons:

It requires some time to get used to the correct paths to delete or add some components but once the user is familiar with the platform, it becomes a useful tool. Additionally, It would be helpful upon the creation of the manufacturing order to add other BOMs to the same MO, instead of creating a new BOM that includes multiple BOMs.

Alternatives Considered: Focus MRP, NetSuite and Katana Cloud Inventory

Reasons for Switching to MRPeasy: In the meantime, we only need help with inventory control and some manufacturing workflow. Therefore, other solutions overwhelmed the overall scope we were looking for, and all those features come with a price. Which, we are not ready to implement yet.

MRPEasy for food supplement and cosmetics contract manufacturing

Comments: The flexibility of the configuration, intuitive and easy of use of the system (although not available in our language) made the move from the previous IT solution without hick-ups. Use of the application on mobile devices makes the inventory management more efficient.

Pros:

Easy of use and configuration for small manufacturing operations. Easy configuration of user defined fields which are persistent across several functions. Import, export functionality streamlines integration with customer's operation.

Cons:

Quality inspection functionality was too simplistic for our operation. To our satisfaction the suggested functionality change was considered as an improvement and implemented in a relatively short time period. Pricelist functionality turned on for a customer request, which was not implemented at the end. Although deleted all related master data, we could not turn off the functionality. This area might need more improvement if required by several customers.

Alternatives Considered: Dynamics 365 and SAP Business One

Reasons for Choosing MRPeasy: Flexibility of the system and easy configuration of the required functionalities. The move from the old environment to MRPEasy due to the easy of import/export functionality made the transition quick and without any business interuption.

Reasons for Switching to MRPeasy: Best match for our operation, which requires high flexibility and easy configuration of different functionalities without coding.

A software aptly named

Comments: It helps us to formalize BOMs, routings and manage stock.

Pros:

It is full Saas and needs no hardware. It is easy to handle and easy too use.

Cons:

I would expect a Manufaturing Order per BOM level and not a multi-level MO while processing an order. It could be important to trace each steps of the process (BOM) with a different MO.

MRP made Easy

Comments: Extremely good. We started with MRPEasy when they were still building out the product. We offered lots of insights and they used many of our suggestions in their final design. Now we use it every hour of every day.

Pros:

The functionality in MRPEasy is excellent. It has transformed our business

Cons:

Linking with our accounting system has been problematic and decided not to use it. However, I am confident that, with the right guidance from MRPEasy's support team, it can be done.

Handling all functions from procurement to distribution, MRPeasy is a very complete tool, avoiding the use of several other software.

Comments: Although we are moving slowly with importing all necessary data so we can start operating the programme, our company is very satisfied with your product for the time being.

Pros:

MRPeasy is simple and easy to use while having all needed features for a small manufacturing like ours.

Cons:

Invoices can not be printed in Cyrillic. We faced some issues while importing tables with Cyrillic content, although all steps were adhered strictly. The programme produce long part numbers itself, which are rather confusing.

Quick out of the box solution

Pros:

Easy to implement with minimal assistance. Great for small businesses looking to keep track of manufacturing.

Cons:

The Accounting module is very limited and not easy to work. Less customisation options and not great reporting. Kanban view would have been great across all CRM Module.

We can use it for stock management and production processes as well as invoicing.

Cons:

Would be nice if the bookkeeping functionality was more advanced and we didn't need a separate software for that.

Comments: It works well enough.

Pros:

It works in the most needed functions. The basics are there what we need to handle the Manufacturing process.

Cons:

The stock handling is too complicated. If you need to move the stocks, it's not easy nor fast.

MRPeasy easy to deploy sofware

I have had the pleasure of testing out this software and can confidently say that it is one of the easiest to deploy that I have come across. The user interface was intuitive, making it simple to navigate and understand. Overall, I highly recommend this software to anyone looking for a hassle-free deployment experience.

Cons:

When it comes to software, customization is often a key factor in user satisfaction. Unfortunately, some products fall short in this area, providing limited options for customization. This can be frustrating for users who have specific needs or preferences. While the product in question may be easy to deploy and have a user-friendly interface, the lack of customization options may limit its usefulness for certain users.

Comments: It's been hard to implement, but we are getting there.

Pros:

There are a lot of options and ways you can costumize to your needs.

Cons:

Not the best interface. For not tech savvy people its hard to understand. Little to techincal and "Excel" like interface. Hard to set up for manufacturer with lot of operations and outsourcing. Too many "clicks" for simple functions.

How MRP easy work for You

Pros:

Specifications, notes which one can add to every order and product separately give better service to our customer

Cons:

This program not specifically developed to metal surface finishing company - a bit complicated calculate real cost

Such a shame

Comments: I am pulling all of my customers away from it because a backup is the customer's data! To restrict it to a short time period is really not acceptable. After all the work is done so why force customers to do it again. For me this caused major embarrassment and had a negative impact on my reputation and as such I will not be associated with the software or business again. I am movint to Katana and will be pushing all past and future clients there too.

Pros:

The software is easy to pick up and run with. As a contracted product Development Manager I have set it up for many clients who continue to use it. Training is easy too. The system is smooth and intuitive and literally guides you to the correct sections as you progress. They didn't miss a trick.

Cons:

The trial does not allow you to back up for more than 30 days. As it takes 12 to 18 months to launch a product you can get bribed into paying a monthly premium as a contractor to keep the main purpose of the software in order during that time. Others allow you to trial backup then when you are ready upload your backup and hit the ground running saving money and time. MRP Easy however does not!
