OCLC WorldShare is very easy to search for holdings of specific titles at libraries, then to request the titles for loan. The request form is very user friendly; you can pick and choose the libraries you want to borrow from. Articles requested via OCLC WorldShare are received as a PDF. As books are sent via ground shipping (USPS, FedEx, etc.), it is better to request books from libraries that are closer to your location. One nice feature of OCLC WorldShare is that you look up a request number to view status (received, shipped, etc.). You can also request an extension for books from the lending library using OCLC WorldShare. Overall, a very useful online system for interlibrary loan. > > **Cons**: Book titles in search results are often in more than one format (audiobook, large print, etc.) or in a language other than English. The menus are intuitive and if you skip a step in processing the user can return to to complete the a step.
