The traceability and accountability on transactions made is a great feature this software has.
The ease of integrating this into our business made this a great choice for us.  It has everything we need and more.

> **Cons**: The help feature sometimes seems to be a little tricky in nailing down exactly what you are needing help with, but again the support you receive makes this so minimal, I'm not sure it's worth mentioning.  An e-mail sent to the support team, and they are on it right away.  The people you deal with are easy to understand and have great customer service.  I haven't had any issues they haven't been able to resolve in a very timely manner.

> Ability 585 has been very good for our company.  I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a good operating system.  I have worked with at least 3 different systems in my career, and this would hands down be my system of choice.

> **Pros**: Ability 585 enabled efficiencies in our part tracking process that resulted in real cost savings in manpower with the added benefits of greater visibility, reduced waste, and increased flexibility.  With greater efficiencies came reduced emergencies and reduced frustration levels by employees involved in the process. Technical support is always prompt and knowledgeable.  When implementing over 2 years ago,  Ability personnel were able to readily access our existing database and helped us move documentation away from paper files to electronic files saving storage space.  We recognized quickly that the Ability 585 software had much more capabilty than we were using - very flexible.

> **Cons**: 585 cannot process foreign currency. Spoke to designers and that feature will come out in version 3.

> Reccomend for any size manufacturer. Perfect for NPI and FAI.

It was very impressive for me that I found the tool very professional and that it was developed by Maynard itself, which talks very good about your competence and capabilities to support the operation.

This tool is considered for me a model system for other companies in what its concept means.
