It uses strong encryption algorithms to protect PDF files. The passwords or certificates used to encrypt PDF files are stored in an encrypted format, so they cannot be easily accessed by unauthorized users. It is a very affordable software. It is available for free for personal use, and there are also a number of affordable pricing plans for businesses.

> **Cons**: PDFEncrypt does not have a batch processing feature. This means that we cannot encrypt multiple PDF files at the same time. It is a basic PDF encryption software.
