Avamar is the 'brains' to manage the backups, and it sends the backups to Dell EMC Data Domain for storage. Backups work reliably, recovery is very fast, and there are a wide range of plugins to meet your needs (image-based VM backups, Oracle \& MSSQL database plugins, support for many operating systems, vCenter plugins, etc).
