Adobe Photoshop, Best in Class

5.0 last month New

Pros:

I've been using Photoshop for over twenty years! What I love about the product is that it keeps innovating and leading the industry for all kinds of designers. A new update always tests my knowledge.

Cons:

I honestly don't have a lot of constructive feedback. I would say that I am using about 20% of the software's capability, which means that I have a lot of growth.

The Gold Standard in design

5.0 4 weeks ago New

Comments: I learned Photoshop years ago and I can vouch for it. Adobe have been a little shady with content ownership but outside that, I've earned a good chunk of my living from this software.

Pros:

The layer system is an excellent way to work. I can choose to work in destructive and non-destructive methods and achieve the same results. Plus those backup saves have saved my behind in many a pinch.

Cons:

The files tend to get bulky really fast and those aren't the best to work with if you have a PC with limited resources. Mine is no slouch but we still have issues from time to time.

Okay product comparatively

3.0 last month New

Comments: It used to be a great tool for image editing and creating cool digital art but now there are better and cheaper alternative available with permanent licence options instead of the subscription models and the new AI policies introduced by adobe.

Pros:

It's a powerful tool for editing and manipulating images and works well with adobe's ecosystem.

Cons:

The new AI policies and slow performance while using the tool for digital painting.

Most Useful Photo Editing Software Out There!

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: I am heavily reliant on Photoshop on a daily basis for photo editing and thumbnail making. I can also integrate photoshop files with other Adobe products which is very helpful. It has been an awesome experience using it and will continue using it for years and years to come.

Pros:

It is the ultimate software to edit photos. It has all the tools required to retouch a photo or manipulate the photo according to your desire. I also use it to make flyers and posters. Along with that, it has been very useful for me to make quality video thumbnails.

Cons:

It is a little bit on the expensive side.

Pros:

Whether it’s layering, masking, or retouching, everything feels so professional and versatile

Cons:

It’s not the easiest tool to pick up, especially if you’re just starting out. Another downside is the subscription cost, which might be a bit much if you only need the basics

Comments: I have loved the application since I used it in college and Adobe has updated the product with new features. It is a must-have software for designers. It is a versatile software that can be used across industries and is user-friendly too. Customer support has been amazing

Pros:

The latest versions of generative AI tools allow the creation of images with text prompts. History Panel makes it easy to undo or redo changes so it helps users in being productive. Also, Layers allows to work on different elements independently.

A Creative Revolution

5.0 11 months ago

Comments: Overall, my experience with Photoshop has been very positive. I've been using it for many years, and it's been great to see how the program has evolved and expanded over time. While it can be complex and challenging to learn, the rewards of mastering the program are well worth the effort. The ability to create and edit images with such precision and control is truly amazing. And I love the sense of creativity and expression that Photoshop allows me to explore. It's definitely a program that has changed my life and my career for the better.

Pros:

There are so many things to love about Adobe Photoshop, but if I had to pick just one, I'd say it's the flexibility and versatility of the program. It can be used for such a wide range of tasks, from simple image editing to complex graphic design. And with the huge selection of tools, filters, and effects, the possibilities are endless. It's a program that can grow and evolve with you, as your skills and needs change over time.

Cons:

While Photoshop is a powerful and versatile program, it does have its drawbacks. One of the biggest issues is the steep learning curve. With so many features and options, it can be overwhelming for beginners to get started. And even experienced users can find it challenging to keep up with all the latest features and updates.

Leas industry tool for picture manipulation

5.0 7 months ago

Comments: Overall the best and most complete platform for image manipulation, at a cost of being tied to Adobe's suite

Pros:

There's definitely no other tool that is as much as reference as Photoshop when it comes to editing and manipulating images, it quite literally became a verb when refererring to image adjustement, so it is indeed the most complete out there

Cons:

Learning curve is a hard one, especially when it comes to colour correction and fine tuning images. Their new AI tool is also a bit on the flimsiest side, not much of use for it as of yet

Adobe Photoshop Review

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Adobe Photoshop is an excellent program for design and manipulation o0f images. I have been using Photoshop for personal use and I really enjoy it.

Pros:

It was easy for me to setup. I had just one PC to install it on so it was very fast setting up. I like the premade templates and the image library. They both come in handy for creating a design. Excellent product support

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like about Photoshop is the cost. There are free photo suites that can almost do as much as Photoshop.

I strongly recommend Adobe Photoshop for photo editing.

5.0 4 months ago

Comments: Using Adobe Photoshop has been both rewarding and challenging; its advanced features empower creativity and precision, but the complexity and resource demands can slow productivity for those new to the software.

Pros:

I love Adobe Photoshop for its powerful editing tools, layer flexibility, and incredible precision. It enables professional-grade creativity and customization for stunning visuals, photo manipulations, and diverse design projects.

Cons:

What I like least about Adobe Photoshop is its complexity for beginners, high system requirements, and occasional lag, making the creative process slower and sometimes frustrating.

Adobe Photoshop is still the best for photographers

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: Photoshop continues to be the best app for full creative control of your photographic images. It takes some time to learn, but the interface is very similar to other Adobe applications so users of other applications should be able to adapt well to using photoshop. Being able to control things like color, contrast, shadow and highlight, and crop are essential for photographers in their artmaking or running their business.

Pros:

Photoshop keeps its core functions easily accessible and adds new, more automated features. The ability to access learning content about photoshop as you use the program is beneficial and rather brilliant. You don't have to stop and watch videos elsewhere to learn how to use a new tool or pull-down menu!

Cons:

There are a dizzying number of pull-down menus and added features. So finding more core functions can take a little longer. The monthly fees are still a drag, but the Photoshop/Lightroom mini bundle is relatively cheap, compared to the full Adobe Suite, so it is a blessing for photographers.

Adobe Photoshop Review

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: It is highly recognized software, so you can trust and use it and it is easy to use.

Pros:

Photoshop is a very famous product in the design world, so it has a high level of recognition. It has a variety of functions that can help you express the image you want.

Cons:

I have experienced that Photoshop's AI technology falls short of expectations compared to other programs. I hope they will upgrade their AI technology further.

Still the King!

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Super useful, powerful, and links with Lightroom for a seamless experience.

Pros:

There is nothing really like it - it has ALL the tools that you will ever need. Probably 50% of the tools I have never even touched. They have made it as user friendly as they probably can given how complicated the system is. The amount of online tutorials and YouTube videos that can help you learn is amazing.

Cons:

It is a steep learning curve if you have never used this or Lightroom before. Therefore, I would recommend going with Lightroom first to learn the basics in an easier to use platform before going to PS.

Adobe Photoshop: An Industry Standard for So Many Reasons

5.0 9 months ago

Comments: I can't operate my business without Photoshop. Although there are always improvements to be made, I've noticed that Adobe has been on top of addressing necessary updates with each new version release.

Pros:

I liked that it not only is a part of the Adobe Creative Suite, but is an integrated piece. Meaning, I have the ability to move from one software to Photoshop (and vice versa) without losing quality or formatting.

Cons:

I still wish that Adobe would further standardize the meny functions. Each program within the suite has similar cross over tools, but they are often found in different places within each program and sometimes referred to with different titles.
