Honestly, there is not one thing about this software that I do not like but it is the software the company that I work for utilizes and thus I am forced to use an inferior product that is a drag on production. We use this method for our portfolio loans that will not be sold into the secondary market. Currently we originate the loan through Byte because of QM/ATR and TRID concerns. Byte is always ready when industry changes arrive. However for our portfolio products, we then have to re-key some of the application and loan rate/term data into a separate LOS to insure accuracy of the Closing Disclosure. Unfortunately Byte does not have a fix in it's future. We have experienced tremendous growth over the past six years and we now need to improve on our efficiency.
