Search feature works great
Pros:
We get a huge number of applications and so being able to easily search every CV for certain keywords can be a quick way to filter and cut down to a manageable number to get through, which you can then easily bulk download.
Cons:
Nothing really, except that it might be nice to have a single HR app, so to do leave requests through this app as well, I don't know if jazz can do this but we use different software for leave.
Alternatives Considered:
Great ATS
Pros:
Honestly, [sensitive content hidden] was the main reason for me staying with JazzHR. He was attentive, easy to work with, easily accessible and helped me with my concerns. I like the support Jazz offers as well
Cons:
The pricing is a little more than breezyhr or other competitors. I would have liked just the ATS component. Adding zoom integration for a extra fee is unfortunate.

Terrible to leave
Comments: DO NOT RECOMMEND! They are okay at their job at best and very difficult to leave.
Pros:
Like normal, in the beginning they are all sunshines and roses. I would give it a 6-7 on finding applicants
Cons:
Leaving...we were moving to a new service. I left VM's and emails saying I wanted to cancel. I own several businesses' and when a client wants to leave we never hold them hostage, or try to squeeze out one more billing period etc. I called multiple times, left emails telling them I was leaving. After jumping through their hoops I missed one line on the email that basically said, "are you really sure? "(Yeah, I thought to myself, I am really sure after telling you 5 TIMES already) Email us back. After responding to them saying I missed this part of the email can you please just retroactive to the original date that I notified them I wanted to leave they basically told me to pound sand. It's just a crappy way to do business especially for this low price point.
Alternatives Considered:
Good option for small to mid sized company
Comments: Overall a very good ATS for candidate sourcing and pipeline management, at a good price. Customer support is excellent - we even had our AE do a training for our managers when we rolled out the interview assessments & feedback requirements. The only reason why I might consider another platform is the reporting.
Pros:
Easy to implement and offers customization for application screening and assessments. Bulk action allows recruitment to save a ton of time by using the filter to shortlist, disqualify and send feedback to candidates.
Cons:
Reporting - it's very difficult to pull actionable data from the platform based on how it's collected. If you want to include interviews in your reporting data, all interviews must be scheduled through the platform which we've had issues with, same with offers - to be tracked they need to be sent to the candidate through Jazz. When you clone and repost jobs to keep them at the top of job boards it counts as a separate job and that messes up reporting data.

It is good to hear that you find JazzHR to be easy to implement and you have had a good experience with our Customer Support team! I apologize the reporting has not been an easy process for you and your team. We are always looking to improve our product, and I will be sure to share this with our team. Love using JazzHR
Comments: JazzHR is a powerful and user-friendly ATS that simplifies the recruitment process. It is particularly well-suited for small to medium-sized businesses looking for an affordable and effective solution to manage their hiring needs.
Pros:
User friendly, easy to navigate, easy to make changes in your templates and other recruitment tools. Is a great ATS for smaller organizations.
Cons:
JazzHR is primarily an ATS and does not offer the full suite of human resources information system (HRIS) functionalities
I love JazzHR!
Comments: JazzHR was the first ATS system I used. It's simple yet so effective. Great layout, great at tracking communications. Overall a pleasure to use.
Pros:
I love JazzHR!! It's so easy to use, posting a role is so quick, I love that your remail communications are tracked.
Cons:
Nothing! I think JazzHR is awesome! It's very user friendly.
JazzHR - Great HR Capabilities
Pros:
It makes recruiting easy and comes with an amazing jib board It is a great online HR solution and makes applicant tracking easy
Cons:
JazzHR has always met needs. No issues.
Good Value for Money
Comments: Overall it is worth the money, and a great experience.
Pros:
JazzHR is very easy to set up and use. It also seamlessly connects to multiple job boards, and allows for postings to go out everywhere. There are also many integrations that work well.
Cons:
The career page was not great for us. We had multiple locations, and the career page just lumped them all together. It would have been great if you could search by location on it.
No complaints here!
Comments: I have no complains. It's easy to use and the customer service team is readily available to answer any queries we may have.
Pros:
JazzHR is a very user friendly platform. It gives you an option to post and track applicants in a very easy way with a lot of great feather such as key word searching, which is a huge help when you have a ton of applicants.
Cons:
Sometimes i find it hard to locate a job we posted in the past. I think thats due to how the jobs are sorted on the Jobs menu.
Excellent Software!
Comments: JazzHR has been an excellent product. We appreciate the visibility, customization, and streamlined processes that allow our team to work together easily and efficiently.
Pros:
We use JazzHR throughout our recruiting process - from job posting to managing candidates from application to hiring - JazzHR has been able to streamline and simplify the process allowing visibility to all team members. We especially appreciate the seamlessness of job postings on our website and the ease with which we are able to guide candidates through our hiring process from beginning to end.
Cons:
Occasionally there are minor issues that we find with JazzHR. For example, we found out that when we pushed candidates' resumes into JazzHR from another job posting site, the email alert was not triggered for this candidate in the JazzHR system. It is rare, small things like this that we sometimes run into, but do not take away from the entire experience with JazzHR.
Wonderful Customer Services
Comments: Exceptional overall experience with JazzHR!
Pros:
I don't need to wait 24-48 hours for customer service. They are prompt and thorough.
Cons:
I really do not have a least that I can think of at this point.
Easy, Inexpensive, Great Functionality!
Comments: There is a lot of information to take in when setting up JazzHR, but they provide tremendous training over the phone and through their tutorials and library. I always receive great customer service. The cost of using JazzHR is so incredibly reasonable that should not be a block for any company when considering using the system.
Pros:
What I like best about JazzHR is it allows for customization for how it can be used. Adding emails to different status's helps me keep candidates informed on where they are in the process, which is something candidates often complain about is companies not responding to, or keeping them updated on their status. This helps my clients maintain their good reputations. I like that when a candidate applies multiple times I can merge all their applications so all the notes are in one file and I don't need to jump back and forth between files. I also really like that I could integrate Criteria assessments into JazzHR. So when we speak with a candidate we are interested in, we can easily send them an assessment just by pushing a button, and the results will also be right there in the candidate file. There are so many other functions the system provides but for my small business clients they just really need a reliable recruiting platform and JazzHR is it.
Cons:
The texting feature is good, but I personally have run into some glitches that are specific to my account. While there is a work around, it is not ideal and creates other issues for me. However, when used by just one customer (business) they will not run into this issue. Texting is a great way to reach candidates who may not otherwise respond to my call since I call from an out of state area code.
JazzHR Review
Comments: Overall, my experience with JazzHR was positive. It significantly improved our recruitment processes by centralizing candidate management and automating manual tasks. The platform's integration with various job boards and its resume parsing capabilities saved us time and allowed us to reach a wider pool of qualified candidates. Although there were some areas for improvement, JazzHR provided a solid foundation for our hiring needs and helped us effectively manage our talent acquisition efforts.
Pros:
One of the aspects I liked most about JazzHR was its user-friendly interface and intuitive recruitment workflow. Navigating through the platform was smooth and straightforward, making it easy to manage and track candidates throughout the hiring process. The ability to customize job postings, collaborate with team members, and access comprehensive candidate profiles all in one place greatly streamlined our recruitment efforts.
Cons:
One thing I liked least about JazzHR was the limited reporting and analytics features. While the platform provided basic reporting capabilities, it lacked more advanced analytics and data visualization tools. Having more in-depth insights into our recruitment metrics and the ability to generate customizable reports would have been beneficial for analyzing our hiring performance and making data-driven decisions.
Friendly service and effective organization (when used correctly)
Comments: JazzHR works very well if every team member uses it for all things ATS: booking interviews, emailing applicants, sending offers, etc. It is also very flexible -- it can be used for all of the above, or only for offers, or whatever it is you need it to do. However, that flexibility is both a pro and a con. If for example some team members use it for booking interviews, but others insist on booking interviews through Outlook, it will be very difficult to keep track of what's happening. JazzHR won't track any communications that occur outside of itself. My advice: ensure your JazzHR team uses it the same way across the board. :)
Pros:
JazzHR is a refreshing alternative to maintaining vast Excel spreadsheets of every candidate for every job (yes, that was my life for a little while). It keeps candidate resumes, contact info, and current application status in one place. Posting new jobs is straightforward, and you can make custom workflows for each one if desired. These allow for some degree of automation (moving a candidate to "passed 1st round" can prompt an email inviting them to the next round, e.g.). Each communication is timestamped, so there's no confusion about how quickly the interview process is moving. Customer service is also quick on the draw, replying to support tickets within 24 hours -- usually same day!
Cons:
Two sticking points hold JazzHR back from being truly fantastic: 1. There's no "true" automation; every action requires a user to do something manually. Example: if I'm in charge of updating candidate status, and I'm out sick for a week, it will appear to other users that no progress is happening. Having some time-sensitive automation triggers would help a lot (change this candidate's status from "round 1" to "needs attention" after 36 hours of inactivity, say). 2. JazzHR works exactly as well as the weakest link on your team -- no better, no worse. If yours is a tight-knit group that's in constant communication with up-to-date calendars, this software will be marvelous. If there are panelists who don't use the built-in interview functions, and/or don't check the discussion threads for updates, you'll have that much more work to do to keep things organized.

Software architecture is deeply flawed, still overall pretty user friendly & effective at good $
Comments: It has helped us effectively hire record number of new employees. It keeps us well organized and does what an ATS is supposed to do relatively well.
Pros:
The price is good for a mediocre ATS that does the basics well at keeping candidates and jobs organized. The email templates are fully functional. Candidate profiles are pretty well organized, except across jobs. Job cloning and posting process is pretty smooth. It operates fast and rarely has technical issues. They have made some improvements based upon our suggestions, but it took a long time and was like pulling teeth to see any progress.
Cons:
Candidate notes/comments/discussion cannot be seen across different jobs or even instances of jobs. Customer and candidate support costs extra to interact via phone, otherwise only internet form submission is required to resolve issues. Overpromised and underdelivered features, functionality, and continuous development speed. Not very customizable. Poorly designed. New and updated features are poorly beta-tested before release and not well thought out from a user perspective. Changes to Workflow templates, stages, and disposition reasons cannot easily be cloned across all of them at once, meaning you need to edit many different templates individually. Task automation features exist, but are poorly designed sometimes.
It's simply Jazztastic.
Comments: When I joined The VSI Team I came to know this little tool that I had never seen before, it had an awesome UI, and an UX so smooth that I just felt like I was surfing through my workflows, literally surfing... I can sit and talk about the features Jazz offers like its automated customizable workflows, e-docs, ease of integration with other platforms like HackerRank, the Crod module which instantly gives you benchmarks to compare your performance, etc. But if I had to pick one single area where Jazz adds the greatest value is Candidate Experience. Granted, your Candidate Experience depends heavily on how your recruitment team operates, but Jazz significantly helps making life easier for your Talent Acquisition team by improving their response time, their abilities to stay in touch with candidates, simplifying their tasks, . As you know, today Talent Brand and Candidate Experience are factors that heavily influence how the talent market perceives us, this is specially true if we're talking about Tech Companies, and Jazz can be a valuable ally in managing your Talent Acquisition process to deliver the best service. Oh, did I mention our Hiring Managers love it? Oh and the support team rock!
Cons:
The only drawback is in the reporting capabilities, it's missing some dashboards and the ability to keep track of your metrics, but I know from a good source that is about to change in Q1 2017.
HR Director
Comments: My experience has been very positive. Once we purchased JazzHR, my sales rep was still present along the onboarding process. He didn't ditch us and made sure that we were connected to all the right people to work out any issues or questions we had. I will also say that we didn't have many issues in transition. We demo the system for a little bit and once our decision was made, it was just a matter of making our posting page with JazzHR live on our site. The company is very responsive to email and chat sessions.
Pros:
This system is so easy to use. It's intuitive and allows for recruiting flow to be developed and followed consistently. The system also does a great job of bridging the gap of communication between the manager and the HR team. The discussion feature allows for real-time follow up along with the ability to store and contain all pertinent information regarding the status of a candidate in the hiring process. It's this feature that allows me to pick up where my talent acquisition manager has left off so that we can continue the hiring process as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. For a small HR team, this is critical. We no longer stress about taking vacations or getting sick. We now have a system that will allow us to cover for each other. This is by far the best feature about the system and the reason a company should seriously consider purchasing JazzHR.
Cons:
I would just like to have a few more options as far as access levels for different people that might be apart of the interviewing/hiring process. However, I know that this is something that they are working on for future use. I would also love to have a mobile app so that my remote managers that travel a lot, can access candidates on their phone and reply to a candidate while sitting at the airport without pulling out their computers.

Happy Customer! Much improved based upon feedback. No unresolved major issues or complaints.
Comments: JazzHR has come a long way. Now that they've been taking client feedback and suggestions very seriously, I can't complain. New features and improvements are popping up every week. The annoying user experience issues that I have dealt with previously are near completely gone and this ATS makes my job a lot easier. Their development team has done a great job and they've done much better testing to prevent unexpected bugs. Recruiting with JazzHR is highly automated and enjoyable.
Pros:
JazzHR is easy to use and allows customized automation, enabling us to hire a massive number of candidates efficiently.
Cons:
Canned application questions wording still can't be edited per client company.
They do not have the customer's best interest. Please be careful before signing on with them.
Pros:
It would post jobs on Indeed. It used to have better results, but they did not replace of the job boards down the road. It's not worth it now.
Cons:
Lacked the ability to do more for the customer and training was not the best. The account manager was very careful and sneaky with her words. The service had changed and there were no updates when the job boards had changed, but the prices were still the same.
Your Customizable Hiring Platform - Everything You Need
Comments: Cost effective, Time-saving, user friendly and helps you keep track of the candidates in progress. Their support team is quick at responses and resolutions. the best thing about Jazz HR is that they receive resumes from quite a few job boards and present them to you on one platform.
Pros:
Jazz HR is customizable to great lengths to give you the exact result you need. It helps create a job to specifically mention what is needed to qualify with the set questions you can place for applicants to answer if they decide to apply to the job. the best part is that Jazz HR does the segregation to see who qualifies and then gives us a list of just the resumes that are a match. The access to templates and workflow is also a huge bonus. They also provide you the option onboard and complete everything with esignatures so its all paperless.
Cons:
When the pros also become the cons - you get resumes that are a fit but the response is always overwhelmingly high. You have to go over the bulk resumes that qualify. The platform offers a huge set of features that may get confusing and not give you the desired result unless setup correctly which could be a draw back. Also the API can be limiting when it comes to in-house integration.
Not the best for small companies
Comments: Initially great. Automatic renewal is the only option allowed. They claim to have sent a reminder email but if they truly did it went to junk or spam. Then when the draft came out and I tried to cancel, I could not talk to a live person. Anyone I talked to "wasn't in that department and would forward my info to the correct department." Which got me an email but just reminded me that cancellation took a 30 day notice and no refunds would be given. Maybe this platform is good for big companies that constantly have jobs to post. But as a small company with only one opening to post, it was a costly error to use this platform as I ended up paying 2 years of membership fees to post one job and didn't even hire anyone from this platform.
Pros:
Creating my job was easy and it posted multiple places at once.
Cons:
Candidates weren't any more likely to actually show for interviews than those who had applied via Facebook.
Best software for recruiting
Comments: Almost 6 months using this software for recruiting
Pros:
Mostly i liked here is posting jobs and candidate management and resume search. Everything is good..
Cons:
I don't have anything to say here overall it's really amazing and easy to use. Fresher also will like this software

Thank you for your review, Kumutha. We are happy to hear that JazzHR has made your overall hiring process easier and wish you the best in all of your hiring endeavors. Happy Hiring!

Expensive, and not very useful.
Pros:
Jazz HR has workflows, and depending on your package it also has eSigning. The people are friendly until you've finished giving them your money, and then they'll be a quiet as a church mouse. It's stable software, but it's overpriced.
Cons:
I had opened an account with Jazz HR before the recruiter I hired let me know about Breezy HR. Breezy is free, and it does far more. Plus Breezy doesn't mislead you into thinking all you need to do is buy some expensive ad on a job site. Recruiters know how to recruit, and software alone is not the answer. Even if you just grab Breezy HR, and you don't have a recruiter working long hours to fill your role, then you still won't get anywhere. So, don't get me wrong. The reason I don't like Jazz HR is because it's overpriced for what you get. Recruiters are expensive, but your software doesn't need to be. For eSigning, grab a free plan with DocHub and you'll help their small business and you'll get free eSigning for a while. Then it's only a few bucks a month for signatures.

Hey there Rick, Thanks for your candid feedback. We're sorry you didn't see the results you wanted with JazzHR and that the customer success team didn't meet your expectations. Depending your needs, our pricing is quite competitive. While we do not offer a free plan, we feel our service justifies costs as low as $39/month for 3 open jobs. We're glad you did find it easy to use and the functionality was up to snuff. We hope you'll give us another try if you're hiring for more roles! -JazzHR
It works. But Not the best
Pros:
At the end of the day it works as advertised.
Cons:
I just feel there’s a few UI issues along with the way the the pages are navigated. Could be streamlined to be a more effective more time efficient product
Great ATS system
Pros:
I used it for many years at my previous work. It's very easy to use, and it has everything we need as recruiters, you just need to select the appropriate subscription for your needs
Cons:
In the subscription we had, when introducing a new CV in the platform, we needed to do it manually. Maybe with a higher price, there is this feature in another package.
