My Experience with moodle

Comments: Moodle is a software I came across when I really needed something with that functionality. It was during the pandemic times so it really spared me a lot of delay in my life by allowing me to continue my studies online and complete my degree eventually, regardless of the pandemic restrictions. It is easy to understand, it is convenient and it works well.

Pros:

What I liked most was how convenient it was. Being apple to access it using my phone at anytime really made things quick and easy without the hassle of having to have my laptop with me at all times

Cons:

What I liked least was the fact that it was not always easy to navigate the app. Sometimes I did struggle a bit finding certain things I was looking for in the app

Has the potential to fight with Google classroom

Comments: Moodle has helped me creating and managing courses with a great variety of settings and dynamically change them when I needed

Pros:

Mobile Ui is awesome compared with other options, also courses, activities and exams settings are so flexible

Cons:

Web version has a lack of user experience, if feels like a 2010 web page

Best Customisable LMS

Comments: One of the best LMS I have used, you may get an LMS ready to use however, it's very difficult to get a product a Moodle which can be curated as per your needs with full freedom of customisation.

Pros:

The range of customisation Moodle offers is top notch. You.may customize starting your brand logo to every aspect of content, course, lessons and assessment.

Cons:

It really takes effort to initially setup and you need a tech person to set it up and the administrator needs a lot of hands on training before learning the complete features.

A Great Tool for Learning Management

Comments: This system has been good for the course I've taught.

Pros:

Moodle is easy to use. I thought moving from Blackboard would be a challenge, but the Moodle features are user-friendly, and we have a great tech team for help!

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. We've used this system for one full year. Though I'm yet learning more about it, I've not found anything insurmountable at this time.

Comments: I had an overall positive experience. Moodle was not hard to learn, its easy to navigate and allows for a positive user experience

I like how easy it is to navigate. It also allows anyone to set up their site as they see fit, making it really convenient

I wouldn't say I like orange colours. I feel like orange is too much

Comments: My overall experience with moodle was great! It took a bit of getting used to since I had used other online learning software in the past, but one I familiarized myself with the program it was easy to use to aid in my learning.

Pros:

Easy to navigate and access coursework to aid in student learning.

Cons:

The layout and technology is a bit different than other online learning programs which I have used.

Moodle App Review

Comments: Using Moodle is smoother and very easy . It gives a clear presentation of my school web page. Course slides, notes and videos are easy to access or download. Reminder is very useful and has saved me a lot.

Pros:

I loved how it makes submitting assignment and group projects so easy. I also love that it reminds me when an assignment is due.

Cons:

What I liked least about it is that it was hard to log in to my school address when I first downloaded it. I had to delete and download it a few times before I was able to log in.

A powerful, yet old tool

Comments: Moodle is a powerful tool. A good and unexpensive alternative. But even if you choose a modern theme it will feel old and ugly.

Pros:

Most powerful LMS in the market. No other tool has such a wide set of tools and customization options.

Cons:

Short answer: hard to use and the interface is horrible Long answer: - For the students: the interface is not user friendly at all. Messy, full of buttons and unnecessary information. The onboarding is tough for many. - For the teachers: it is hard to grasp all the basic functions and upload resources. There are few tools to make batch changes. Maintenance is a pain. - For IT: hard to deploy. It is the WP version of the LMS world, but tougher.

Moodle gives you great value for money!

Comments: Overall moodle has been great to get us started with a learning platform, however, we have now outgrown this as a business and will need to transition to a different platform. It is the most affordable on the market and a great option for small businesses

Pros:

It is a very affordable product - you get a lot of features for a great price and is great to start building out an online learning platform

Cons:

It is difficult to find support online about how to implement features or how certain features work like generating reports. There are several different versions of moodle so the information online isn’t always relevant

Great software for inside training

Comments: I am really happy with that solution. Even given the security concerns, it is ran locally on our servers and we did some work to get that secured. We do have a lot of great experience with that software and it helps us develop skills and learn new things every day!

Pros:

It is free, fully customizable software that allows your team to develop a lot of quizzes! It it pretty easy to setup (if you have basic web development knowledge) if you want to do it yourself, but as far as I know you could just buy a tenant on their hosting and use it straight from there! Amount of customizations you can do there is amazing! From basic configuration things, to custom code you can provide there. Me and my team love it, when we educate ourselves about many different things!

Cons:

It is still an open-source software, so I am concerned about security of this solution.

Easy access to all course materials in one place. Access course materials anytime and anywhere. Forums, quizzes, and surveys enhance engagement. Efficient assignment submission.

Cons:

Mobile app lacks some functionality and can be less reliable than the desktop version. It Requires a stable internet connection, which can be a challenge for me.

Fabulously customizable and accessible!

Comments: A great experience, have used many times as student and host and it is always mostly easeful - any hiccups are easily addressed by connecting with the Moodle team and it is highly customizable.

Pros:

It's great that it can be accessed via mobile, website or even desktop application for on-the-go access to classes, courses, files and more. It's easy to use and to customize.

Cons:

The internal email feature can sometimes be finicky or not send to all students, and Moodle does seem to have a connectivity problem if students are using hotmail, outlook or yahoo instead of gmail.

Still a good low cost option

Updated look and feel, easy to customize, still simple and clean in terms of interface; grading rubrics easy to set up and connect to gradebooks

Does not function well with some browsers or document formats; threaded discussions are less well organized than in some other LMS systems

Great system for studies and learning in higher education

Comments: Moodle was the best experience I gained for my studies, it has an easy-to-access interface, all the information is available and the monitoring of studies is fantastic.

Pros:

The study dynamics, the way of presenting the subjects, what I like most is that it follows the evolution of the studies, continuing the studies exactly where it left off. Another important thing is being able to review old materials, making it easier to remember special points.

Cons:

What I like least about the system is the support part. It is not inefficient, but sometimes the delay in service delays the sequence of studies. I understand that the delay is for better support and assistance, and due to the number of requests made by users, but it is also inconvenient to continue learning.

Comments: Moodle is pretty decent for quizzes and courses and has been the goto for all my courses but it's kinda showing it's age, but at the same time there's not really any alternative aside from maybe canvas, it's alright.

Comments: My overall experience with Moodle is that it a reliable and easy-to-use platform for my online courses. It keeps everything in one place like my study materials assignments and grades which makes it super useful. While it’s not the most modern or the fastest sometimes but it still helps me get things done.

Things i like about Moodle is that its to easy to use and everything is available in one place i don't have to jump around different sites and one of the best things which i like is take I can access it from anywhere using both my phone and computer.

Things I dislike about Moodle is that it can be slow at times especially when many people are accessing it at once. Sometimes it takes a time to load pages which can be irritating when I’m trying to finish an assignment. I also find the interface a little outdated which makes it less visually appealing compared to other platforms.
