Pros:

It is super straight forward process when adding your expenses from any work trip and once you hit submit getting your money refunded is typically smooth.

Cons:

We were told that our cards would sync up, but they didn't and the customer service was bad. We really didn't even get to use the software as we never got through the whole onboarding phase.

Counterintuitive and hard to use.

Comments: Very very poor. A huge waste of time each time I have to use it.

Nothing. This product is counterintuitive, poorly designed and so very difficult to use, and refuses to allow corrections to entered data.

Cons:

This is extremely counterintuitive to use. It is not at all clear how to enter data.

SAP Concur - Makes expense reporting fast and easy

Comments: I use SAP Concur almost weekly and find it efficient and easy to use. From going back years to when users were taping receipts to paper and uploading, to having the ability easily attach receipts via your mobile devise is fantastic.

Pros:

Ease of use on both mobile and desktop applications. The softwares ability to sync with Credit Card providers and receipt tracking has made business travelers expense report creation and submittal much easier.

Cons:

At times some of the pre configured alerts set forth by ones organization can be hard to understand and overcome.

Good luck trying to get support

Comments: Generally positive experience during the sales process, in implementation, and while an active customer/user. Absolutely awful experience post-disconnect, which would keep me from ever considering SAP Concur as a partner again in the future. Unfortunately can't recommend SAP Concur for expense reporting.

Pros:

SAP Concur has long been the industry standard for expense reporting and travel management, and so it was the natural choice when we were looking for a new expense platform several years ago. The sales process was straightforward (no negotiation or haggling needed as their price is their price), and implementation was planned and handled well by the assigned Concur team and our internal resources. Adequate training was provided for both administrators and end-users, so rollout and adoption of the new platform was pretty seamless. User experience was generally positive even if the platform was somewhat dated and not as user-friendly as competing options.

Cons:

Unfortunately SAP Concur's customer support, particularly during the disconnect process, was abysmal. When we requested the disconnect, we were offered no guidance or information from our customer success team re: how/when to download archived data, even after multiple requests by phone and in writing. Concur ended up disconnecting our site prior to making the download available, making it impossible for us to get to this critical data. We had to jump through countless hoops to get our site reactivated, download all the data, and then request another disconnect. In total, this debacle lasted almost five months. Could all have been avoided if the customer success team had communicated, responded to inquiries, and simply followed what I have to believe are well-documented Concur procedures for assisting clients through the disconnect process.

Easy to use!

Comments: My company (myself included) uses Concur regularly to track business expenses. The interface is simple for end users and it is convenient to route approvals for expenses directly where they need to go.

Pros:

SAP Concur is easy to use for end users. The expense reimbursement process is simple and straightforward, directly sending the reports to managers/accounting to approve. In addition, the availability of two-factor authentication keeps our users' financial reports secure.

Cons:

I have nothing negative to report on regarding this application. Setup was simple and it is easy to use.

SAP Concur Review and Experience

Comments: I like using Concur for my own expenses, and it comes with a mobile application that has the same user experience that the desktop version does.

Pros:

SAP Concur is a very easy to use software, and it allows you to look into your own expenses as well as a broad range of reports to analyze the companies' expenses as well

Cons:

Sometimes there is a lag in looking for certain reports but this boils down to information that is being loaded.

I love Concur

Comments: Excellent. In the past, when I transferred to a different company, I was always happy when I found out they were using Concur!

Pros:

I think Concur has really evolved over the years. I have used it at four different companies as early as 2011 and I love how it has become more intuitive. It also integrates with other services well, which shortens the time to get an expense report done significantly. I cannot imagine having to use another app for expenses.

Cons:

Sometimes I get confused how to use a rarely used function, such as itemization. I think there could be better training for users, either by bite sized videos or in app pop-up training windows maybe..

A professional business travel expense application

Comments: I use Concur for recording all expenses incurred during a business travel and the entire process is very seamless and easy

Pros:

Very easy to create a business travel expense for approval and dedicated emails are sent at every stage of approval process which ensures no important notifications are missed out The process of creating expense reports is very easy and the support of mobile app makes it more helpful as all expenses, bills etc can be directly uploaded using the mobile .

Cons:

There are just too many menus and options in the UI and as a end user you might not require many of the options a simplification of the UI so that there are only limited features for the user to select from would improve the user experience

Good solid expense and travel application

Comments: Moving from an excel based, far more manual process this has been a welcomed change.

Pros:

The integration with corporate traveller, allowing users to claim expenses and book accommodation / travel in one application, reports / analytics are therefore available on spend across all these areas. Support is readily available, always responsive and prompt in resolving any issues. It is quite straightforward to use as an end user, most team members pick it up quite quickly.

Cons:

I would prefer the option, of being logged into SAP for the day and not having to re-log in throughout the day when I need to re-access. Search facility as an admin only allows to search on first name or surname, not both names. The inability as an admin to easily move a 'group' of users to a new approver

Unlike most alternative online accounting tools, SAP Concur has a well functioning mobile application. 2 and 3 way matching tools enables me to detect discrepancies rapidly when paying vendors.

Cons:

I have been using this tool for almost four years now and I have never experienced drawbacks.

SAP Good Expenses Software

Comments: Generally really good, been using it for multiple years and had little issue

Pros:

Useful tool for expenses within a large organisation. It allows for a two tier check with managers and notes to be left on.

Cons:

With the claiming of VAT fuel it can struggle to fully understand if you have claimed back enough over multiple receipts. It often wants it to be done over just one.

Comments: It is a fairly simple application to use, it is not complicated and it does not have many options so it does not take you much time to make an expense.

Pros:

When you travel it is super easy to lose bills or track your mileage, the mobile application makes it easy to perform these tasks.

Cons:

As for the mileage, for some reason, when you drive for many hours, you lose mobility or do not identify the starting point well.

I enjoy the ease of change with SAP Concur Travel. My preferences are inbuilt into the program which saves me time by presenting travel options that most align with my needs.

I would have liked to be able to use canceled points and tickets for personal travel when non-refundable business travel gets canceled.

Easy System

Comments: Overall its a very solid system although not really budget friendly.

Pros:

Easy to use, easy to upload receipts and choose the type of expense. Also easy to get approval and see where the expense report is in the system

Cons:

Allocation of expenses to a specific unit or business area is much more cumbersome than I would like to see. There are lots of steps to that, and it's not all that intuitive, so I've had employees miss the allocation entirely

SAP, an entire world.

Comments: It's a great tool. Excellent to use in a financial company that changes often and acquire new business.

Pros:

The way it organize all data and information of a department /company. The way it's clear for each one of us depending on our duties.

Cons:

To navigate in the system for some of my colleagues can be stressful since not everyone is computer savvy, there is a lot of information that can be more minimized depending on each one of our duties since not everyone does the same thing.
