"Ls NAV is very good application for retail mgt. Most of the features & functions are out of the box"

Comments: Easy to implement
Easy to manage
Easy to configure
Easy to Monitor
Easy to evaluate

Pros: Many of the functionalities are driven by setup. Its just plug and play.
LS DD Powerful tool for the data replication.
It is a complete package for retail.
Customizations to suit desired needs are 1% maximum since all functionalites are out of the box

Cons: There are no much concerns about this software. The one and only difficulty is training. It is hard to find the Training and the Trainer.

"All-in one Retail Solution for a plug and play action"

Comments: Retail Business in Sri Lanka is not well-managed when it comes to Resource Planning and Finance Management. Sri Lankan IT Industry is highly competitive in introducing a modernly made Retail Management Software Solution to make things go ahead in Retail sales industry with efficiency and good standard, and herewith LS Retail and its business logic designs as an Implementation person I did see bigger advantages to follow a well-developed framework. LS Retail was a Thumbs up from both the Implementer and the End-Customer.

Pros: Wide-spread Configuration capability is a huge plus point selecting this as the main Retail Solution for a Retail operations-driven Business or an Enterprise. LS Retail has the capability to deploy as a vertical software solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central which makes the solution proposals more competent and viable. In terms of UI/UX, the user-friendliness is an achieved goal metrics here at LS Retail.

Cons: Although the capacity to configure the system is given at a performable level as a Deployer I am keen for good development capabilities to be carried out, overlayed or extended. At the moment the pricing structure is not that viable for South Asian Market from implementation and proposal development experience.

"Best ERP for Retail Industry."

Pros: One of the best things about LS Retail is that it has been built on the most efficient SMB ERP Software(Navision). Its Data model is the best in the industry.
LS Retail brings out the best features to enrich your Retail Business. You Can Customize the Product as per your Business needs and it helps to see the growth of the firm transparently.

Cons: We experienced some latency in data replication and that was not been resolved for quite some time. we spent a couple of days to figure what was the issue. still, that can be easily overseen.

"LS Retail The Middle Market Retail POS Solution"

Pros: 1. It overall Look and Highly customizable Features.
2. Integration with almost any dotnet or API based soluition.
3. Mobile POS Solution are even more comfy.
4. Mobile App for each and every module(Retail,Warehouse,Inventory Management,LS Pay etc)
5. INtegration on ALL possible NAV updates of Microsoft Dynamics NAV startion from 3.0 to 14.xx till date.

Cons: 1. Issues in Coalation and Arabic Languages.
2. Costly due to created on NAV base.
3. Should have a different billing solution except LS NAV for Small level shops.

"It's best for retail business just because of solution components and simpleness of POS."

Comments: I learned about this,working on it and getting so many things just because of this software.I improved my skills and getting hike upon this :)

Pros: implementation phase is very good & simple for any beginner.POS is very clear concept for anyone & the most important thing that I like very much is troubleshooting.

Cons: I like any software if it's user friendly,and the all qualities are available that I need already there.Troubleshooting is very conceptual and easy to use that I like mostly.

"The journey has been a roller coaster experience so far, with ups and downs for each s/w iteration."

Comments: Great deal of retail industry know-how and ideas for solving some problems or meeting customer requirements and expectations.

Pros: Usefulness and flexibility of the Scheduler and Data Director, along with the multitude configurable options for POS.

Cons: Complex inter-related setups that would be difficult for non-technical users to do themselves without any prior knowledge or understanding of the whole system. For example, InStore Management and Repelnishment.

"LS Retail for NAV is comprehensive and flexible software to meet most all POS / Retail needs"

Comments: Full visibility and access to all aspects of business in one product without integration points or best-of-breed software issues. LS Retail is a flexible, comprehensive, all-in-one software.

Pros: LS is 100% fully integrated into NAV functionality with direct and full connections with sales, purchases, inventory, and financials. All POS and Stores are directly connected to headquarters and everything in between for full visibility into all areas of business.

Cons: Two things - one is setup, because it is so flexible, setup is extremely complex. Once it is setup, little needs to happen and it is very flexible so changes can be made quickly. Second is VAT vs Sales Tax calculations - especially with prepayments. Software is based on VAT, but has Sales Tax (North America) built on top of / besides which can have rounding issues.

"Easy to use even for people who have little knowledge about ERP"

Comments: Ls Ativity have a powerfull solution to our recent customert due to is the most important Club in my country and integrated with the POS give us a lot of added value as a supplier of retails solution.

Pros: Theres's no many details to setting up features like offers and all modulo are integrated.

Cons: Well. I woud like to see more reports or one way to fill those need from customer in standart way.

Pros: It has all the functionalities that makes it easy to use in variety of retail and hospitality industries. Easy to implement, flexible enough to make any change easily, real time data replication from store to HO is a plus.

"Working with LS retail since last 17 years long journey with summary below."

Comments: Amazing product with both pros and cons. Product carries history with great experience from implementers. As a core product there are lots of features missing for mid-size retailers. Other competitive products in the market supply lot of these features and we haven’t seen in LS yet.
LS central become lot more difficult to Quicker deployments with customisations and lot of dependencies and also un availability of LS Retail support
I know LS is investing lot of inputs but it is not catching up with market speed.

Pros: 1. Built on Business Central
2. Compatible with SQL
3. Uses Microsoft AZURE & Cloud
4. Rich features with integrated ERP
5. Best fit for mid and small retailers and quick setups to go live
6. Good replication tool
7. etc. etc. i have a massive list to go

Cons: 1. NOT User friendly on POS configurations, too many complicated setups involved behind scenes
2. NOT easy to install and deploy
3. Hard for low end retailers to maintain and manage
4. Lack of training materials in latest versions.
5. Lack of integration to other channel platforms.
6. Lack of localisations in some countries and partners are not up to date.

"Availability of Latest Versions and New Vertical (Pharma etc.) for our Region"

Pros: Quick introduction of new features, modules and technology keeping the solution upto date with current and near future market requirements.

Cons: Getting the localized version where there is too much dependancy on Microsoft. In case of .Net solution localization is not the priority.

"Once it is stabilized it can be a truly great system."

Comments: It is a heart of our Company operations now.

Pros: One integrated software, all modules in one place, MS Office like user interface, open platform - ability to implement your own modifications.

Cons: The system architecture does not support parallel access and operations in the system. Having around 50 users in HQ and 300 stores trying accessing the system (posting shipments, receiving deliveries etc.) users keep receiving an error message with information about tables locked by another users. Such situations increase frustration, slows down the business processes and limits scalability of the entire solution.

"I have been selling LS RETAIL for last 5 years . Most easy and user friendly retail solution."

Pros: I liked the most is that LS retail has is having completed functionality and features required for running retail operations.

Cons: Nothing as such . LS retail requires the devices to be constantly connected to the internet. If the connection is unstable or haphazard, risk breaks in your service.

Pros: Very versatile and base version is straight forward to set up and install. Able to address most customer requirements with minimal customizations.

Cons: Many features, options and switches to be activated/turned on - difficult to be on top of them all. Not all settings are apparent and obvious to accomplish required setups and business processes.
