An Perfect software for E-mail marketing

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: This software is a gem if you do email marketing, computer input or web development. It's yours

Pros:

Contact Constant is an excellent software for small businesses. It manages practically all the parameters that a business online has (mailing, marketing, automation, analyses, reports, management, assistance...) very pragmatically. Additionally, the prices are affordable and data exchange is very fast.

Cons:

The design is not very pretty, and it gives me no desire to work (laugh).Apart from that, I do not find any negative points.

Excellent Experience With Constant Contact!

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: Overall, I have had a great experience with Constant Contact. It is the perfect solution for managing my email marketing campaigns, and I have been able to get great results with the software. Customer service has been excellent, and I would definitely recommend Constant Contact to others.

Pros:

Constant Contact is a great tool for those looking to manage their email marketing campaigns. The software is easy to use and provides lots of features to help make the process of designing and sending emails a breeze. The customer service is also top-notch and always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have.

Cons:

While Constant Contact is a great tool, I have noticed that the prices can be a bit on the high side. Some of the features are quite costly, and I feel like I am paying for services that I may not always need.

Pros:

All basic features are available and working and easy to navigate. I loved the more specialized features on the higher tiers.

An Extremely User-Friendly Email Marketing Platform: Constant Contact

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Overall, I found Constant Contact to be a great platform for sending out emails. It was easy to use, with plenty of helpful features such as analytics and segmentation. The only downside was that the templates could look a bit dated.

Pros:

Constant Contact is an incredibly user-friendly email marketing platform that helps you create and send professional-looking emails quickly and easily. The platform also features comprehensive analytics, tracking, and segmentation capabilities, so you can effectively measure and monitor the success of your campaigns.

Cons:

While Constant Contact is a great platform, there are some limitations. For example, it doesn't have the same level of customization options as some other platforms, and its templates can look a bit dated.

Constant Contact Review by Jen

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: After 2020 we were forced to focus on merchandise sales and rely heavily upon their success. Constant Contact made a positive impact and helped keep us afloat.

Pros:

Constant Contact is a prominent brand in the email marketing business. A multitude of integrations are possible (Google, Microsoft, and Zoho products, Shopify, WordPress, Purplepass Ticketing, ETC.) The power to launch a large campaign and see results quickly has to be the best feature of CC for us.

Cons:

Constant Contact sways towards the mid to high end of the price spectrum. The premium plan (which you must purchase to remove the CC logo) is absolutely on the high end. Ease of use isn't perfect yet.

Great email campaigns!

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: I used Constant Contact as my major campaigning tool leading up to a national conference that I hosted. It helped me create community. I got tons of feedback from the listserv that the emails looked amazing. It boosted my registrations and helped everyone stay up-to-date on what we were planning.

Pros:

The emails looked great! Plus, it was so easy to drag and drop items to build a newsletter/email that I really wanted. It was like canva with it's drag and drop functionality, which made it really easy!

Cons:

I wish there were more stock pictures to use. More ability to edit pictures within the software.

Well Established Email Marketing Tool

4.0 2 weeks ago New

Comments: Overall, experience is good and the app serves my main purposes.

Pros:

Using the Constant Contact templates is incredibly effortless. Furthermore, the design function includes a good colors scheme to match our corporate identity. The tools for managing our contact list allow us to keep our contacts active and segment them by demographics for more a effective campaign. Another excellent feature is the URL hyperlink for email sending, which is extremely beneficial to include in individual client emails.

Cons:

The campaign displays often vary significantly between mobile devices and desktops. Rather than scaling down images or graphics displayed side by side or within text boxes, they are instead repositioned to fit the width of the page and stacked on top of other images or text. Furthermore, the auto-resend feature lacks the ability to test A/B subject lines and make corrections to emails. Although sent campaigns can be sorted into a folder, they remain visible in the full campaign list.

Make your email marketing easier with Constant Contact

4.0 last month New

Pros:

As a user of Constant Contact, I can say that there are several advantages to this software. First of all, it is easy to use and offers an intuitive user interface, which makes creating and managing email marketing campaigns quick and efficient. In addition, Constant Contact offers a library of professional newsletter templates and customization tools to create emails with my company's image.Constant Contact also allows you to track the performance of email marketing campaigns, with tools to analyze open, click and conversion rates. Finally, Constant Contact offers excellent customer service with live support via chat, phone and email.

Cons:

However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. First of all, the customization options are sometimes limited, which can be a bit frustrating for more advanced users who want to create more complex emails. Also, the price of Constant Contact can be a bit steep for small businesses or limited budgets.Despite these minor drawbacks, I think Constant Contact is a great email marketing software for businesses looking to communicate effectively with their customers. The simple design features and the ability to track the performance of email marketing campaigns make it a great choice for businesses of all sizes.

Cheap but not the best feature suite on the market

3.0 last month New

Pros:

I appreciated how cheap it is to use Constant Contact. That was the main draw in moving to Constant Contact, away from HubSpot, for email marketing. Unfortunately, their email templates simply aren't as strong, sharp, or easy to customize. We ended up returning to HubSpot after a short period of time. This is probably a great platform for a company that is just starting out though!

Cons:

Their email templates are a bit dated, they are not as easy to customize or re-format.

Comments: The team was great in getting us set up as non-profit with reduced pricing. Using their analytic tools for our website and social media has been an added benefit for us.

Pros:

Constant Contact is easy to learn, use and gather reports. The functionality is great and helps eliminate duplicating work. We love the ability to drop in a you tube video, conduct surveys and gather RSVPs.

Cons:

Only frustrating part is being signed out of account, but still being able to make changes. You don't know that your time has expired until you go to save the changes.

Bulk Email Marketing At Its Best

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: I like using Constant Contact and the experience has been good especially with bulk email sending.

Pros:

1. Constant Contact makes it easy for me to send bulk email that goes straight to inbox and that what got me entangled with it. 2. I noticed a very rare feature that Constant Contact have that many other doesnt have. Constant Contact, allows me to collect donations from people. Many of the clients i have helped setup Constant Contact like the donation feature part so much too. 3. Constant Contact allows me create absolutely any kind of form that is needed for my list building.

Cons:

Constant Contact doesnt have a free forever basic plan. Although they give first month free but I think they should have a plan for small businesses starting out who cannot afford their $20 a month.

Don’t sleep on Constant Contact!!!!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: We love Constant Contact! The decision to switch to CC last year was the best decision that we made all year! It’s made our lives so much easier and we are definitely reaching more people!

Pros:

Ease of use Beautifully organized with list/ calendar views, folders, and list management attributes Automated social media and email scheduling Campaign management Landing pages Forms Lead Ads Reporting both original and resends in detail with drill downs so that you can see who exactly clicked!

Cons:

There is some room for improvement in the ability to tag other pages in the social media posting section. When I post, I have to leave the site to find the social handles of the people/businesses that I’m trying to tag. If it could auto populate like it does in the social media sites that would be amazing! More lead ad options other than just Facebook. Integrate with AirTable!

Useful, Consistent, Not Always User Friendly

4.0 last year

Comments: In general, I prefer Constant Contact over MailChimp, but it could be because I'm used to it (been using it for 10+ years) and because it's cheaper for the amount of contacts we have. I also like that I can do surveys through it. MailChimp also didn't seem any more user-friendly than Constant Contact when I tried to work with it a few times.

Pros:

The email templates and survey features are really helpful. We can also connect their email lists into our website pretty easily. It's nice to have one paid service that sends out emails AND sends out surveys. MailChimp doesn't offer both features in one, so it's why I stick with Constant Contact. It's also cheaper than MailChimp for the amount of contacts we have. It's expensive, but it's the best one we've found.

Cons:

It's not very user-friendly to make the edits I'd like in the actual emails I'm making. There aren't very many templates useful to us, so oftentimes, I end up making my own template and then saving it. The photos don't always load easily when I pull up our photo album, but it does eventually work when I mess with it a bit. My colleagues oftentimes have difficulty with using it as they're not as used to it as I am, so I wouldn't say it's user-friendly off the bat. It takes a learning curve for sure.

Invaluable Tool for A Small Business or ANY Business

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Constant Contact revolutionized the way we communicate with our clients to let them know what's coming up in our issues and how they can participate (our magazine is 100 percent supported by advertising) and our readers (each month we create an email "alert" with Constant Contact which lets our readership know that our free digital issue is now available online). My whole staff knows how to use it and it can be adapted to a great variety of communication purposes. Clients can download our rate kits from a Constant Contact email; readers can link to our issues from it. It has lowered our print bills for collateral materials immensely. No more printed flyers or brochures! And no more use of snail mail — clients can receive your Constant Contact mail immediately or at a pre-scheduled time.

Pros:

Very easy to use. If you know how to upload an image or a graphic, you can create eye-catching emails or newsletter style communications very easily and modify or update them frequently and quickly. The analytics -- to see the percentage of recipients who opened your email and exactly which person did or didn't, the bounce rate which allows you to keep your lists current, and many other features are not only helpful but simple to use.

Cons:

As time has gone on, the cost has increased, but it still saves us a great deal of money because our postage costs have gone way down. We hardly ever use our postage meter anymore for marketing mailings. It's all done through Constant Contact. They used to have a free desktop "widget" that allowed you to input an email address right from your desktop, but that has now been discontinued. It was extremely convenient for the way we do business. There are now other ways (paid) you can connect directly to Constant Contact to have new email addresses input, but we have not been successful at getting them to interface for us, even though they are supposed to work. Constant Contact support was not helpful on this at all -- this happened recently and was really our only disappointment with them EVER!

Outdated service

3.0 10 months ago

Comments: In general, Constant Contact feels like a software built decades ago that's bolted on features over time instead of a well-designed, intentionally integrated solution. Templates are old fashioned. Automations are limited. (For example, a welcome email cannot be a series.) Old sign-up forms are maintained, but weren't migrated to the new functionality, so we'd have to rebuild each one to modernize them. Custom contact fields are limited to text or date. Missing details like this add up to each project taking more time than it should. I suspect Constant Contact was a front-runner in the early days, but there are better email marketing solutions now at a similar or lower price point that offer a coherent, simple-to-use, and modern product. This was one of the first SaaS products I replaced with another service when I took over my job.

Pros:

Drag-and-drop email builder is straightforward, and I appreciate the polling and RSVP functionalities. It's easy to collaborate with team members on the same projects (but not on a variety of projects -- see below). Overall the naming and location of items is intuitive, which makes it easy to find your way around if you've used other email marketing software. I like the ability to get a url to past email campaigns.

Cons:

The templates and functionality are outdated, and it takes time to build out customized elements that fit with a modern aesthetic. Support is so-so; other service providers (such as MailerLite) have raised the bar with quick response times that Constant Contact just doesn't offer. This product works best for a single user or two. The list, segments, and tagging attributes offer flexibility, but they get out of hand quickly when used for multiple goals or by different teams. This email marketing service has been the hardest for us to keep clean. Additionally, there is a single unsubscribe form, which doesn't make sense when different teams use the same service. The search function for past campaigns doesn't work well, so it takes time to riffle through the list to what we need. This is how many of the features work: they're probably there, but it takes time to get what you need.

Fashionable and Functional. Your correspondence will

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: I do independent contracting for a nonprofit and have been using Constant Contact for about 4 years now for the electronic newsletters to our supporters and network. I love that the software and the many different template options to use for mailings. I also like that I am able to change fonts, color, backgrounds and layout with ease. It is VERY user friendly and if I need to stop in the middle of my work it, will be saved where I left off. This is actually an update because in the past if you didn't save the work manually you could lose it, but they have updated that and it now autosaves (which I am very grateful for). Also, I love that I can schedule mailings and campaigns in advance for when I want them to go out (I currently have 5 pending to go out on designated days within the next 5 weeks). This save me a lot of time and not having to wait til the day of to log on and send them out. What I REALLY like is that we can track analytics. we know what emails (and topics) people are more interested in versus ones they barely open. This helps us in choosing more engaging content. I know what percent of our contacts have opened the emails. I can create different groups to send certain thing to (like Board members, parents, LSC), I am even able to see the time and date (and by whom) an email was opened and if the donate button was clicked or not (which is good for best practices and implementing measures of accountability within the org).

Robust Email Marketing

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Converting web site visitors to email marketing recipients has never been easier, as site visitors simply select which programs they are interested in and they are automatically added to the appropriate contact lists in Constant Contact. Constant Contact has made it painless to conduct email marketing campaigns that circumvent spam filters, something that Emma and MailChimp struggled with.

Pros:

Constant Contact makes it really easy to make attractive, functional emails and to conduct email campaigns with sequencing. Building emails is done via a drag-and-drop interface (WYSIWYG), so you don't have to have any coding experience with html or css. It's really easy to schedule your campaigns, too. If you can use Outlook and Word, you should be able to get comfortable with Constant Contact pretty quickly. It's also really easy to build and manage contact lists, including importing from csv files. And Constant Contact does a good job of tracking bad email addresses and removing them from your lists, which is important because you are charged by the number of contacts you have. I also like that you can send yourself previews so you can try the messages out on different mail programs and tweak them to your liking. Once you've sent out the messages, Constant Contact offers reporting to let you know how successful your campaign was, including the click-through rate. It also sends you reports about who is being added to and removed from your contact lists. Its integration with several WordPress form plugins means it's easy to convert web traffic to email marketing recipients.

Cons:

Permissions. There are basically two levels of permissions besides the account owner: campaign creator and account manager. It would be nice to have more granular control over what users can do, because account manager gives users a lot of freedom, but is necessary to work with contacts, schedule a send, etc. The other thing I don't like is how quickly the cost ramps up. Having used Emma and MailChimp, I feel like Constant Contact is the most robust platform. But it is expensive.

A nimble framework with solid variety

4.0 3 years ago

Comments: Over all, it satisfies with tons of options and features. It's been around for quite a while so it has maturity. I like that, because it's less likely to drop off the grid and force me to learn a different application. With the savings of a few home-made cappuccinos instead spending at the coffee stand, you can easily afford this!

Pros:

Constant Contact has a smooth feel and almost always gives back more than I put into it. It's simple, solid, and scores big with me in mass management of details, as well as private and public listings. From crafting a simple update, to publishing an intricate periodical, it does the trick. The better your skills in composition and design, the better this suite will engage your craft. If you're not really into complex "back end" matters, like analytics, CTA, efficiency, and delivery success, that's ok. You'll still be able to feel the "pulse"; and like many things, the rest will come with time. The best part is that it grows on you over time, instead of impressing you upfront, and then disappointing. This "work-on-it-anywhere" app is chock full of tools for social marketing, surveys and campaigns, monitoring, scheduling, automation and similar workflows, to design, custom templates, storage, libraries, and hosting, etc. However, don't ease up on your final proof, because that's where I make the "best" mistakes! The more polished it is, the more embarrassing that typo will be! Constant Contact is a multi-level mobile tool, with plans that meet well.

Cons:

While I don't always anticipate maintenance down-times, a more diverse notification system of maintenance times would be nice. I also believe a "pay-per-use" option for a reasonable time-frame would be great for businesses with less predictable budgets, trying to get off the ground. Also, sometimes design tools aren't as pliable as I'd like sometimes (I'm a so-so perfectionist). But for the price, that's ok!

Constant Contact Review

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I Highly recommend Constant Contact for anyone in need of an email marketing solution. It has all the features you need to create and track effective campaigns and the customer support team is always available to help with any questions or issues.

Pros:

One of the things I appreciate most about Constant Contact is the comprehensive reporting and analytics it provides. I can see how many emails were opened, how many clicks each link received, and even which links were most popular. This allows me to fine-tune my campaigns and make informed decisions about future emails.Another useful feature is the ability to schedule emails in advance, which is perfect for time-sensitive campaigns or if I'm not available to send the email at the time I want it to go out.

Cons:

One potential downside is the cost. While the service does offer a free trial, the monthly pricing for Constant Contact can be somewhat expensive compared to other email marketing platforms. However, it is worth noting that the platform does offer a wide range of features that may justify the cost for some users.Another potential issue is the fact that Constant Contact does not offer a free plan. While the free trial allows you to test out the platform, you will need to sign up for a paid plan in order to continue using it. This may not be a feasible option for users with a very small email list or those on a tight budget. Finally, some users have reported that the Constant Contact interface can be somewhat cluttered and overwhelming, especially for those who are new to email marketing. While the platform does offer a lot of features and tools, it may take some time to get used to navigating the various menus and options.

Great tool for outreach, easy to learn

Comments: Its easy to use once you get the hang of it, its user friendly, its cost effective, and their customer service is excellent.

Pros:

It's effective in it's data measuring, I like how I can view data in multiple ways to help me make the right decisions for my organizations marketing initiatives. I also like that I can make my own templates and embed them in. The mobile and desktop version formats are both also excellent.

Cons:

Its not as smooth sailing from the get-go as other softwares like mailchimp. There's a bit of a learning curve with the pre-available templates and the space to work isn't too big.

Email marketing with Constant Contact

4.0 2 years ago

Pros:

Constant Contact is definitely on the top-tier software for managing and distributing email marketing and they are very good in it. The template design is very interactive and easy to edit it to fit with the email objective. We had a good response and email open rate with this software.

Cons:

The price plan is quite expensive after you reach the limit for the contact list and how much email can be sent for a month worth. The user interface for the dashboard can be improve to the modern design, as for now, the looks of the dashboard is quite outdated.

Have made some nice improvements

4.0 4 years ago

Pros:

We've been using Constant Contact for a number of years for our email marketing efforts. The interface is easy to use, although a bit glitchy at times, and I have seen a number of platform upgrades as well. I like the ready made templates available which come in handy when needing to put together an email quickly. The analytics provided are good, although I can't comment on how robust they are given this is the only platform I have ever used for email marketing. The addition of some email automation has been nice as well. Also, the recently added inbox previews has been nice to help tighten up subject lines and formatting.

Cons:

Sometimes I've noticed the interface can be a bit glitchy when building an email. The buttons used for changing background color and making edits can be elusive at times. I also don't like how there is no search function for finding sent emails by name. I know you can filter emails by date sent and categorize them in folders but it would be nice to be able to search by an exact email title.
