> **Pros**: The first thing that stands out about scribble maps is that it's the first program I've used in the past 10 years that does everything I wished it would right out of the box (and that's saying something considering the ridiculous complexity of the maps I'm building). While it takes a bit of time to learn all of the tools, one you do Scribble maps makes you feel like a bit of a wizard with just what you can produce. I also really appreciate the very broad range of customization and data-tethering of the lines and markers. There's hundreds of styles to choose from of infinite sizes and colors, and all of it can be imbued with filterable attributes that make it easy to simplify a complex picture into something more easy to digest. Lastly, the customer service is really top notch. The level of detail they put in to their responses to my questions was truly impressive.

> **Cons**: There are some inconsistencies in convention in some of the tools (i.e. the process to edit the size of a line is different then the process to edit the size of a marker) such that the user needs to put a little more effort into learning the interface. However once learned the program is as effective as you could wish for.

> My initial rating of this program would have been an 8 out of ten due to "bugs" I had encountered while using program. However, the incredibly detailed customer service I received revealed most of those "bugs" to be user error, while the remaining ones were reacted to excitedly as an opportunity to improve the interface. This experience absolutely elevated my rating of scribble maps to a 10.
