You upload the old and new versions, and the software highlights exactly what's changed. It seems trivial until you realize how much time you were wasting checking every corner by eye. The fact that external reviewers can access it via a link without registering is also a huge convenience: clients don't want to create yet another account, so they open the link, leave comments directly on the file with the annotations, and that's it.
