This is dishonest and unacceptable, regardless of how the platform performs. > > **Cons**: Hidden non-refundable policy disclosed only after charging my account, which feels deceptive, unethical, and like a deliberate tactic to take money without consent. > > I signed up for a free trial. I did not agree to any paid plan, monthly or annual. Without any warning, reminder, or notification, Biteable charged $180 directly to my bank account. I did not receive an email before the charge. I was never informed that my trial would automatically convert into a paid annual plan. After discovering the charge, I immediately closed my account. Only then did Biteable respond by saying the charge is non-refundable and pointing to their policy. This policy was never clearly communicated before taking my money. This is not transparent or ethical billing. Charging customers without notice and hiding behind a “non-refundable” policy after the fact feels like a deliberate tactic to take money without consent. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this company. The rendering engine is quick and responsive, generally, 3 min videos took about 2 minutes waiting for download. The ability to resize videos to any social media platform is a breeze. > > **Cons**: Edit screen is not intuitive when compared to its counterparts. Editing logos or fonts on slides is frustrating as they are limited to one layer per slide. No drag and drop and no copy-paste is possible. The font library is too limited and you cannot upload your own fonts. The music library lacks depth. Software updates are so slow.
