My experience with FUSION 360
Comments: My experience was perfect, I am not really into the 3d design world, but I learned this software for university and to solve some everyday problems. It took me many hours to get familiar with all the tools and options, but after learning it, it's pretty simple to use it. I have used it to design pieces to prepare some things, and it worked great.
Pros:
With Fusion it is possible to create new things from scratch and make them real. Once you know how to use the cad and 3D functions, it is possible to model any kind of piece in many materials; then it can be rendered or transferred to other pieces of software to manufacture it. It is not easy at all to learn it from scratch, because it has many features, but a great advantage it that there is a huge amount of learning material on YouTube or in the adobe community.
Cons:
The main drawback maybe be the price, if you don't have access to a student or enterprise account, it could be pretty expensive. Anyway, the product is extremely complete and user-friendly, so is worth it. The other point is that it is not easy at all to learn it from scratch, but the internet is plenty of learning material.
Alternatives Considered:
Low cost but powerful CAD package
Pros:
The cost is incredibly low in comparison to other CAD packages and it is easy to get going with it. It can do the majority of what you would expect a modern day CAD package to do and the cloud features make collaboration very easy.
Cons:
Its technical drawing package is a little undercooked still but fine unless you are making big commercial products. Additionally, it would be a bit cumbersome to use in comparison to something like SolidWorks if working on massive products with complex feature trees and hundreds of components.
3d modelling tools
Comments: Good tools for 3d model and user friendly for beginner
Pros:
It is user friendly with many tool bar for construction of 3d model
Cons:
Its rotation views not very smooth and the printing option is limited
Building with Fusion 360
Comments: My overall experience with Fusion 360 has been pleasant. It allows me to design and complete small furniture and be able to show a client what the product will look like prior to the build.
Pros:
This program makes it very easy for me to design high-quality furniture pieces for my clients.
Cons:
I have not found anything thus far that I can't do through this program.
3d models in the making
Comments: Thanks to the many manuals on YouTube, you can draw 3D models in a reasonable amount of time
Pros:
The software is very versatile and user friendly. The software to go to make 3d models.
Cons:
the learning curve is quite steep, but with some effort you wil be able te draw simple models.
The laggy nature of the program makes it unusable
Comments: I can't recommend using Fusion as long as it isn't updated for modern hardware.
Pros:
It's a parametric design software that makes it possible to revise previously made features.
Cons:
Fusion is so incredibly slow and laggy that it's unusable. Even on a modern Mac M1, it's so laggy that it's impossible to get any work done within the software.
The perfect starter software for CAD
Comments: Fusion 360 is a perfect software to introduce the user to professional CAD, and its similarities with AutoCAD allow users to jump into more advanced work with a minimal learning curve.
Pros:
Fusion has a simple UI, easier to understand than Solidworks, making it better for those looking to start out in CAD work.
Cons:
While Fusion 360 is a beginner software, it is not industry standard like AutoCAD, and does lack some more advanced tools. Other than that, it is very beginner friendly, and does perform better on lower end systems.

JNM Rise Inc - Fusion360 Review
Comments: This software has been so easy to use from day one! I couldn't be more thrilled with it. Being an SME, it is offered on an annual basis free of charge. My network of engineers are amazed I am able to accomplish what I have using this software when the companies they come from are paying thousands for licensing. I also would like to note that Autodesk offer an incredible specialization to really round out your skills via Coursera.
Pros:
This software has been an incredible tool for my business. Being that our principle service is Design and Engineering, Fusion 360 has offered all my team and I could ask for in a software. It has been very intuitive, and regular updates or feedback from the customer service team. In addition, there is a massive online community with video tutorials or guides both created by, or individual users of the Fusion360 software.
Cons:
I can honestly say that there has not been an issue since day one of using the software. If I have a need to address, the online community are quick to provide thoughtful responses and guidance allowing me to solve any issues my team and I may have.
Benefits and struggles of fusion 360
Pros:
Fusion brings the best of industry-related 3d modeling softwares (you can recreate today's industry production methods) with more flexibility.
Cons:
After working many years with other softwares, getting used to the way Fusion handles assemblies has been a challenge. However, once you understand the logic behind it, using the software is quite easy and has a very beginner-friendly interace
Top-rated features for kinematics and simulation
Comments:
We're an Robotics based Ed-tech startup with the help of which we're creating robotics and other technical solutions for our customers. Therefore, a lot of R&D we do, we create each and every single part or component of a robot in the software.
We're rendering the models, creating scenarios and simulating in real time in order to get the right design values and material selection for our product
Pros:
1. I've been using this software to create the kinematic links and simultaneously creating the mechanism joints resulting in getting the desired motion, I want to show in a simulation 2. With the help of it's feature recognition tool, it's easy to design each and every single part and can align them in a single tree 3. Easy to access shortcuts helps an advanced user to design components more quickly
Cons:
As this software a cloud-based, it requires high-speed internet to stay logged in while designing and rendering the whole model. Constant updating is one thing that I'm concerned cause it popped out in the middle of your work
Great In Theory. Clunky in Practice.
Pros:
Parametric design. Clean interface. Decent rendering.
Cons:
Bugs bugs bugs. Performance issues, regardless of the computer being used. Drawings are resource heavy. Changing events in the design tree often lead to major errors. Features randomly stop working. I have been using Fusion since 2016 and I can say pretty confidently that it continues to get more and more clunky.
Decent Product, Just Expensive.
Comments: Fusion 360 is a great product after you get past the learning curve and I am overall happy with the product.
Pros:
Fusion 360 is great once you learn to use the product. You can quickly make models and test them digitally.
Cons:
Some of the user interface is clunky and there is no dark mode when other Autodesk tools such as AutoCAD has dark mode available.
Years of experience
Pros:
As user who started with Eagle i was nice progress forward with Fusion. Really easy to use also as a student. Contstruction of your PCB was really fun.
Cons:
Sometimes problems with library when you wanted to add your component. In compare with easy contrusting this is kinda week point.
Cost effective with some drawbacks
Pros:
It is a very intuitive software that is cheaper than most of the alternatives and performs on par if not better than its competitors. It has a great cloud facility which makes collaborating possible.
Cons:
it is not possible to replace parts within an assembly which makes it a hassle to reassemble it. Sometimes, the tools that we organize according to our liking defaults to their original places, which then requires us to manually rearrange the tools again.
Fusion 360
Comments: It is a good software for beginners to learn modelling.
Pros:
The fusion 360 is mostly used software for 3D modelling. It makes users easy to model the components and by using this software projects can be delivered on time.First drawing 2D drawing and converting to 3D design is more easy in this software.Modifying the design by editing the sketch is more effective in this software.
Cons:
This software is worked on high speed data only. The space required for this software is large.Sometimes the document transfers in this software makes issue
Fusion 360 Review
Comments: Very nice experience with this software during class
Pros:
Very good sketching and modelling and assembly of the components design
Cons:
Sometimes complex geometry modelling is quite typical
Best tool for 3D design AND 3D Printing
Comments: I have tried many 3D tools, but F360 just "clicks" with me, it's easy to use, but powerful enough to create complex projects.
Pros:
I use fusion 360 for 3D modelling to be used for 3D printing, but also to be used as assets in Unity.the timeline feature is simply amazing, being able to change previous steps in the 3d process is priceless and has saved me many hours of work, also being able to parameterise almost everything is very handy.
Cons:
a recent update made it so that the hobbyist version (free) only allows a limited number of simultaneous editable project.
The best CAD tool for hobbyists and anyone who wants to make something
Comments: I first used Fusion 360 as an undergrad because it was free for students, and later found out that it was also free for hobbyists. I love that approach to software, because I believe anyone should be able to dream something up and make it; Fusion 360 just provides one of the most powerful tools for that development process. I've used it to design robot parts, program machine toolpaths, and modify CAD designs from free libraries for fun. I really enjoy using it.
Pros:
Fusion 360 set out to be the best integrated CAD and design software, and it certainly has achieved a lot of its goals. While not as high-powered as top-tier CAD programs, it holds its own and is uniquely designed with the user in mind. I love Fusion 360's cloud-based system; without having to store files locally, I can log in on any machine that has Fusion 360 and access my projects. The interface is clean and easily customized, and the tools are intuitive. There is also an active community that is great at answering questions, and a lot of YouTube tutorials put out by Autodesk and others that fully explore Fusion 360's functionality.
Cons:
Because Fusion 360 is constantly being updated and new developments are being added regularly, sometimes you will open it up after a few weeks without using it and the interface will be different. If you're trying out a preview feature, you might not get to keep it if the development team decides to go in a different direction. But this is rare.

Houssein houssainy fusion 360
Comments: So easy to use so good for furniture manifacturing, i say in description that i m working as 3d artist and ui ux designer but before thag i was working with my dad which is a carpenter
Pros:
I start in learning 3d by this software beacuse it's so easy to use and understand how it work and i can make so amamzing decore or furniture in minute and showing it to my customers
Cons:
I switch to blender because it's easier to make organic shapes so maybe thinking to add a sculpting mode to fusion and it will be perfect for me
A well packaged cloud based CAD, CAM and CAE software
Comments: fusion 360 was very easy for me to learn and its been a great experience using it so far. majorly, I use fusion 360 in designing products for additive manufacturing as it is easy to modify my design and share with the team from anywhere since its cloud based.
Pros:
The fact that it is cloud based made it easy for you to work as a team on the same project. fusion 360 offer great features especially in the 3D sketch as compared to its competitors, and the regular updates improves the UI and UX. as light as it is, its fully packaged with features to enable users make even complex designs, render and as well simulate it.
Cons:
fusion 360 crashes too much especially when trying to upload designs made in offline mode to cloud, and it can be really frustrating.
Best 3d designing and manufacturing software.
Comments: Fusion 360 is best software in our use for creating engineering designs with high precision. We do the designing of various part models using the software and the same is analysed using fusion 360.
Pros:
Fusion 360 is mostly used by design Engineering team to create the product design in 2d and 3d. We use the software for designing product models and 3d simulation of the design. We can convert our 3d models easily into 2d models is a great feature. We do analysis of the design to test for errors before manufacturing and also we can easily make edits to the design as per needs.
Cons:
Assembling of complex design is difficult as compared to other softwares. Proper training helps to overcome the issue. No other issues.
Workhorse CAD, Mirrors the Industry Standard.
Comments: Once installed I love this program, kids are designing and printing from day one uninhibited by the quirkiness of other freeware.
Pros:
This program along with a couple of online tutorials get my students creating solutions to human problems in the first couple of days of class. From there they begin to see the connection between structure, function, and asthetics.
Cons:
Initial installation is frustratingly clunky and overly involved. In order for my students to get an educational license I have to provide each of them with a letter on school letterhead. If we are at a school, using school based google domain emails perhaps we can get this program going a little easier!
