Simply the best for churches and small organizations.
Comments: We've been using ProPresenter since 2011 and absolutely love the ease of use and stability. It's been a great product with great support when you need it.
Pros:
We can train a volunteer to use ProPresenter in just a few minutes, but the depth of features is outstanding. We probably use less than half of the capabilities of ProPresenter, so it scales with us. It's also rock solid. Nothing induces panic like a last-minute software crash. It very rarely has any issues.
Cons:
You definitely pay for the quality and features. There are less expensive options but they can't touch the stability of ProPresenter. I feel like the subscription system they have moved to is cost prohibitive to some smaller churches and organizations.

A massive changing
Comments: I started use ProPresenter five years ago, thanks to a video of a worship song I saw on the internet. I noticed they used a different software for presentation than usual (in Italy is no diffused at all, almost among the Catholics). I started to understand how it works through video training and finally I decided to use it starting from creating some presentations of my personal worship songs I wrote. Then song after song I developed an entire database for the church where I minister and finally we use it for every kind of service (Mass service, Holy adoration, Youth service, meetings). I trained some operators to do the same so now I can get all the help we need for our church.
Pros:
That you can combine so many features together for you worship live experience
Cons:
the remote app is not truly updated from a long time
Not so Great if you are a Pastor who uses slides for your points
Comments: Overall much more difficult to work with compared to powerpoint.
Pros:
The feature I like most is the preview feature on the bottom of the stage monitor setting so I know what verse or words are on my next slide.
Cons:
As a pastor using this program it's a challenge. Sometimes I am working slide 15 and I do something an it jumps to slide 1 or another location. Also, you can now not preview your slideshow without a subscription, we have a subscription for our worship center but why do I need one to build my presentation.

You will be sorry for purchasing Propresenter
Comments: When it works it is great. However, often they push updates that are terrible. When one of these faulty updates come out, they mess up the whole product. When it does it is super hard and time consuming to have fixed. In fact, I have been waiting since Saturday to have our product fixed. The reason that I am having to wait, is because it has to be at propresnter's convenience. I do not recommend this product, unless you are a software engineer. If you do not have much experience with programs like this......you will wish you never purchased this program. I wish I hadn't. Procontent has some good things, as well, but I think that it was misrepresented as well.
Pros:
To be honest. I do not have much to say good about it. When the product works, it is a great product. However, they push updates that they do not check, and it constantly causes issues with the program. When you need support it is always on their time, and at their convenience. They have no support on the weekends, and they sometimes push the updates on Fridays that have issues and then you are scrambling for another program to substitute propresenter, becasue it will not work. In the past these updates have caused issues to the presentation screens, the program itself, files not being recognized; and often times you are not able to use the products that you purchased from them. They have no recompensation policy, so if they mess and they often do.....there mistake is on your time and dime.
Cons:
The updates. Their timing is terrible. It is almost if they expect that you should have IT person on staff. They take no real responsibility for the actions that constantly cost their customers time and money.
THE BEST PROGRAM EVER!
Comments: We are just returning and we should never left the first place.
Pros:
it's so much easy then other programs out there I would recommended this to any churches out there.
Cons:
there's no cons whatsoever about this program.
Great Presentation Software
Comments: I dove in to ProPresenter, watched their training videos and got started. Relatively easy to set up basics, more complicated to understand subtleties
Pros:
Its ease of use, being able to broadcast to so many different views at the same time.
Cons:
It takes a bit of training/use to really operate some basics.
ProPresenter make Sunday Easy
Comments: ProPresenter allows us to plan and execute our church services with ease. Although setting up a service can sometimes be challenging, once it is setup, even an inexperienced operator can run the service.
Pros:
Propresenter allows us to build the service and use macros to control features like lighting and sound.
Cons:
Upgrades sometimes introduce issues that are hard to work around but new features are often worth the headaches. Just don't upgrade right before a service.
The Best is Here Right Now. None Else Can Compare
Comments: I've been using ProPresenter (in more than one job capacity) since 2012. When we switched over from our previous presentation software it was an immediate improvement in our experience (both from the congregational standpoint and that of the operators). Renewed Vision has provided plenty of help with YouTube videos when I don't quite know how to do something.
Pros:
The ease of use with presentation software is paramount. Training volunteers to operate this software in tandem a presentation is very simple.
Cons:
If I HAD to pick something here I'd say that triggering certain elements (countdowns and such) using calendar has been a bit of a task since version 7 was released. I figured out a workaround, but it's difficult to explain to someone not as experienced with the software.
Alternatives Considered:
Great product, great design
Comments: The terminology is not intuitive to me, I consider myself somewhat technologically savvy but your terminology is “Greek” to me and having to watch YouTube videos or joining Facebook user groups help, it does not always make sense to me. They use your terminology without explaining what it means.
Pros:
The flexibility to use a little or a lot of the features, great designed product.
Cons:
The cost is high for smaller congregations, it would be nice to have options for getting lower pricing for just certain pieces of the product.
A Great Product!
Comments: We used a couple of other brands of presentation software before switching to ProPresenter and ProPresenter is by far the best. Our computer is ten years old now, but it still keeps working fine with every new version of ProPresenter. I do like that the software is constantly updated and also support has been very responsive and helpful when needed. I recommend ProPresenter very highly.
Pros:
It's easy to use and does everything we need it to.
Cons:
The yearly fee seems a bit expensive, but maybe not for what you get.
Alternatives Considered:
Works well for our small church
Comments: We are a small church using volunteers to run our sound and projection stuff. I like that we can train our volunteers on the basics quickly and then help them to develop skill with the mor complex stuff as we go. We have kids helping (part of our investment in future volunteers in sound/projection) and they can advance slides and do the basic stuff well under supervision and learn more as they do.
Pros:
The ease with which we can set up a set for Sunday worship. We have a set for each week of the month and can change the content quickly and easily, especially with the connection to Song Select.
Cons:
We have issues occasionally with the program changing the screen setup taking time to figure out what to do to get things back. It may be as much a Windows thing as a ProPresenter thing though.

Using ProPresenter helps
Comments: ProPresenter is something that we don't think we can live without in our production team. It makes things look so professional and very organized. It is such a great tool for our church.
Pros:
ProPresenter is a key piece in our worship services on Sunday mornings, as well as any other services we may hold. It has been a tremendous asset to us in our production quality.
Cons:
It tends to be a bit bulky and clunky. It's also not super user-friendly, as you do need training to be able to navigate it.
Great Product!!
Comments: I love it, the FEW times that I've had issues with ProPresenter I have had nothing but the best response times from your people and quick solutions. And the even fewer issues that I've had to wait a bit for have only been secondary issues that I have or have figured out workarounds for, so all in all I an quite satisfied with ProPresenter and recommend it to most people.
Pros:
I love the quality of ProPresenter, quality that's good enough for just about any venue!
Cons:
Perhaps just one thing, it's a biggie, but just one thing...ProPresenter is so big that its sometimes hard to figure things out until I get the right phrasing on youtube then its just a little bit of watch and learn and then its onward and upward!
ProPresenter For Churches
Comments: ProPresenter offers churches so much. It is a great software to purchase and use.
Pros:
ProPresenter allows you to easily choose a variety of backgrounds, let's you edit text easily, allows you to put your slides in order, and labels everything appropriately.
Cons:
There are several different systems displaying lyrics. It is all in what you get used to. I have used Powerpoint, MediaShout, and ProPresenter. It takes time to learn anything new and unfamiliar and everything has its pros and cons. ProPresenter overall is a great choice. Just be sure to give yourself time to learn all of its features.
Pleased with ProPresenter
Comments: We use ProPresenter is several different venues on both Mac and PC. We love it and when I had an issue, customer service didn’t give up until they found a solution!
Pros:
ProPresenter is super user friendly, adapts to multiple use platforms and the customer service is great!
Cons:
The only issue I had with ProPresenter Not opening properly was dealt with by customer service!
Alternatives Considered:
Advanced presentation tool for everyday AV Operators.
Comments: ProPresenter 18 is awesome, more features that are quite advance and looking forward to using them - lower third being one.
Pros:
The 3 work areas within ProPresenter, and how they are clearly identified so that there's no confusion
Cons:
The hidden menus - some of them can be upfront so that there's no need / or less time spent in looking them up on the system.
Powerful and Versatile Presentation Tool for Both Worship and Business
Comments: ProPresenter has consistently impressed me over the years. It’s a reliable and flexible tool that meets the demands of various use cases, from church services to professional digital signage. Its stability and robust feature set make it indispensable in my workflow.
Pros:
The flexibility it offers in presenting, combined with its integration with a database and SongSelect, makes it extremely versatile. Its ability to manage multiple screens simultaneously is a game-changer. When paired with Mac and DeckLink Duo, it creates a powerful setup not just for worship or churches, but also for digital signage in professional environments like my real estate office.
Cons:
The initial learning curve can be steep for new users, and certain advanced features could benefit from more intuitive controls or clearer documentation.
Intuitive and Powerful
Comments: Been a long time ProPresentor user. It continues to be be a standard in church context. It is easy and intuitive for those just beginning and yet powerful enough for the veteran to push creative boundaries.
Pros:
Always innovating and added useful features to help us be more and more creative. The team is also always available to help troubleshoot problems.
Cons:
The price is a little high but is a little understandable
Very Pleased
Comments: Very happy with what it can do - I know it can do a whole lot more, I just need the chance to learn it all!
Pros:
Can now do our inhouse presentations and stream live - all from the one program
Cons:
Updates sometimes change things around a little
Love it! Bible verses, songs, slides are easy. Planning center integration works well.
Comments: Great! I can send notes and get help right in the software. It'd be nice if they were around on the weekend, but they always reply back during the following week
Pros:
Flexibility, reliability, works with alpha key switchers like blackmagic so you can key out blacks and do gradient fills that fade out to transparent.
Cons:
Be careful of trying the beta versions, they make changes often that sometimes break things.
Great customer service
Comments: Good overall experience, online hep was incredible
Pros:
Ease of adding songs and editing lyrics. Customer service is really great!
Cons:
There is a learning curve to learning how to build presentations
Recommend Heartily
Comments: Propresenter is a staple in our sunday morning gathering.
Pros:
It is very flexible and works with any kind of setup.
Cons:
Some of the updates revert some of the functionality.
Easy Slide Creating/Editing
Comments: I use ProPresenter to create the Welcome/Announcement slides for Sunday morning worship. After gaining the knowledge of how to create and edit, it only a few minutes to update the slides each week. Super easy!
Pros:
It's easy to update slides for the worship service each week and Special slides such as holiday slides can be "hidden" and enabled again for later use. It saves time by not having to recreate slides each time.
Cons:
It can be a little confusing for beginners but nothing in particular stands out as a negative.
Excellent function, high continual cost
Comments: I want to LOVE ProPresenter 7, since I loved 5 and 6 for so many years. But if you don't pay hundreds each year, you don't get updates. This can be a real burden on churches when there are many similar options out there for less.
Pros:
It does everything you need and expect it to do. A powerful piece of software.
Cons:
Has moved to a subscription service (pricey) and has recently changed to be a much less friendly of a UI than previous versions.
Better presentations
Pros:
ProPresenter helps me to present our views more comfortably
Cons:
I do not find any problems while using it at all.
