About Google Workspace
Google Workspace is how teams of all sizes connect, create, and collaborate — to drive innovation from any device, and any location.
Customer support is good and in some plans you have priority support services. The collaboration is the most transparent possible, work agility is better than with other solutions.
It can be frustrating when there are features that are available in MS Suite that GSuite does not have. They are few and far in between, but once in a while it does frustrate you.

Leave O365 Behind!
Comments: Love it, have all the basics and more, plus more integrations than I know what to do with. A great way to streamline work
Pros:
The amount of applications Google workspace offers is incredible. Not only do you get the standard email, writing, presentation, and excel type of programs you also can take advantage of several others that are incredible for business. The ability to use google voice, analytics, gemini, etc is incredible.
Cons:
Not a con, more of a personal anecdote, I wish I knew the basics behind all of what Google workspace offers so I knew what I had available to me that maybe I wasn't taking advantage of. A demo or short explanation of each tool would be great.

Google Workspace Review
Comments: Google Workspace's experience is superior to many other products in the same field.
Pros:
Google Workspace provides an ease of use for our environment.
Cons:
Google Workspace should invest more in the MDM side of technology. Their opponents (Intune) have a wonderful product and should invest time and resources into that type of technology.

Save your money, Find an alternative!
Comments: Horrible, it is like rocket science trying to use it.
Pros:
Nothing. It's so stressful using this website.
Cons:
So difficult to use, contact support, or use without needing to search up how to use something.
After 10 Years, Still Happy with Google Workspace
Comments: I use Google Workspace to control multiple email accounts, due to the different functions in my job. I can't imagine doing the same thing with paper mail and physical filing cabinets. When I need to find something, it's easy to find and continue with whatever needs to be done with that item.
Pros:
I've been using the product (even though the name has changed) for about ten years. The different functions are readily available on sidebars or in menus and are easy to find and consistent, as to their placement and descriptive icons. Now, as I discover new ways to use different features, it makes noticeable improvements in my productivity, particularly, in being able to control exactly, how my email works, as far as organization, placement, specific filters, etc.
Cons:
It would be nice if the archiving function worked differently. If we could sort by several parameters and move all of the results to a specific archive folder, that would not be part of the original email account.
The optimum solution for SME
Comments: As a company, we are very happy to work with Google Workspace and we totally recommend it, especially if you are hooked in the Apple ecosystem. However, if you are able to have a small IT team, I would recommend to avoid using it as a "one-stop-shop" for your IT needs as there are some other, standalone products who work better compared to native Google Workspace Apps.
Pros:
I really enjoy the fact that the vast majority of IT & software needs for a Small / Medium Enterprise are fully covered by Google Workspace: emails - software - files - calendar - meetings etc. Also, the fact that all technical aspects & issues are handled by Google directly, help me saving time on a daily basis.
Cons:
I don't like two facts on Google Workspace. The most important one is that Google Drive for Mac does not work as it should and there have been numerous cases were the files weren't syncing properly between different users. This is a real pain and we have considered moving to another vendor for cloud storage. The other issue that we don't like is that all new features of Google are not always instantly available to users across our organisation.

Google Workplace - The preferred suite for business
Comments: I have never been more grateful at any company for a suite of programs than I have with Google Workspace. It has allowed me to seamlessly transition from company to company, project to project, and even personal tasks no matter where I am at, or what I'm doing.
Pros:
Completely satisfies, contains, and exceeds all basic and intermediate business and communications based programs required for entry, intermediate, and even established businesses. From email, to calendar, to video meetings, and much more!
Cons:
Does have some file conversion issues that don't mesh 100% with some built in or licensed programs a consumer can buy. Not a big setback, but requires some workarounds, especially on spreadsheet functions.
The best suite ever
Comments: I've been using Google Workspace for the best part of the last ten years and I'm so happy I made the switch. It made it incredibly easy to switch OS for work without ever worrying about compatibility and having all documents stored in Drive gives me the peace of mind of not having to worry about damaging hard disk or ageing servers
Pros:
I love how it perfectly syncs with any device. It makes working across devices so effortless and even on devices that are not mine and on different OSs If I need to recuperate a document I can simply login pick up from where I stopped
Cons:
Most less common features are add-ons that need to be installed and are not natively integrate in the softwares

Google Workspace a good Alternative
Comments: Over all using Google Workspace was fun, a bit challenging at times but the end product was good, professional looking and I had no issues with compatibility between it and MS Office docs. The suite worked well on my computer, laptop, and iPhone.
Pros:
Google Workplace is a great alternative to MS Office. The apps work well and they are light on the requirements to operate on both computers and phones.
Cons:
If your coming from a MS Office environment then the interface is vastly different and may take some time to get used to and familiarize yourself with the various functions that are commonly used in day to day operations
The Workspace Changer
Comments: I have used Google Workspace for three months now and it's been an awesome experience for me and my business. I've always used Google's products and honestly don't know why I have not been using this sooner.
Pros:
The connectivity that it offers for me and my team is a game changer. It is so effortless and effective that I don't know how I functioned before signing up for it.
Cons:
I can't think of any negatives to Google Workspace at all.
The Best Workspace
Comments: Perfect, the best and seamless interaction.
Pros:
You can literally be in sync with all your files/documents, without having to worry about anything.
Cons:
Nothing, it has been too good, that i suggested we use it in my place of work.

Advanced, easy, intuitive and simple set of collaboration and business tools
Comments: Great suite for collaboration, office work and simple document management...
Pros:
It is great cross platform set of tools that easily orchestrate variety of business activities. Not that it is only e-mail service, it is way too more. Great integration with calendar, notes, Google keep and many other services helps a with organizing our team, as well as having most of our documents and important data on the go, with our mobile phones, no matter of the brand or even mobile OS.
Cons:
Whenever you have any kind of problem, you have really good knowledge base, but it is almost impossible to get in touch with live person to discuss specific problems. Everything is automatized, maybe even more than it should be.
Alternatives Considered:
So much value that is easy to incrementally access. It's changed how we work.
Comments: G suite has really simplified on-boarding people, both because it works well with everything and because it's easier to start using than desktop software like open-office or libre office. Generally speaking, even folks who haven't used it before find it easier to use than other office suites. For people who are really accomplished in something like ms-office, there might be some annoyances but we have not had issues w/doing projects that had say excel and sheets users together. Google has done a really good job of looking at the entire set of features needed to make various docs, and focusing on the most important things be easy and work well, delivered in a cloud-centric way. Other unexpected upsides are multi-user and online collaboration features, this is available in some other cloud-centric packages but google was one of first to offer this and it's done very seamlessly. Probably the biggest unexpected advantage is the scripting. We now have important business-level applications running in g-suite that were built incredibly quickly, cheaply and have evolved nicely over time. This is for a company without any professional javascript developers, and it's pretty easy to get somewhat quantitatively-oriented folks to add simple functions even if they're not programmers. This benefit has come so incrementally, and we're tapping only a small portion of whats available... the g-suite api is probably the biggest short and long-term benefit of the product.
Pros:
So much capabilities for the price. G suite does a lot, but it doesn't try to do everything. What is does is done incredibly well, very easy to use, good user-experience even for first-time users. Learning curve is so short for most features, it's easy to get started and easy to keep adding skills. Good support for open standards and multiple document and output formats (including raw like json/csv). Large community makes it easy to find examples for most things you'd want to attempt.
Cons:
G suite is great about Pareto optimization- it does most things really well. What it doesn't do well is noticeable. Usually can be accomplished via another way that it does better. For example to take full advantage of suite, you often need to learn/consider the google/g-suite way of accomplishing. Which once you get in the mindset is easier, it's a do more with less mindset. There are situations where if you're a hardcore excel user, you may find it a bit weak on "included" excel things like pivots or charts. Likewise for presentations, they're basically choosing 70-80% of what you're likely going to use in other products and doing them at a higher level of quality. For most people they won't matter and will be fine. But if you are really, really advanced (we are mostly cs or mba types that are pretty technical, but not necessarily in doc creation)... so if you happen to have some really obscure feature of some program in your suite, you'd first check to see how g suite can accomplish that and if it's to your liking.

Gsuite-Lots to like
Comments: G Suite is great for performing basic office tasks. But if you’re looking to dive deeper you may want to spring for office 365. However the way it integrates with Gmail and with your website are very nice. If your business does it need to perform detailed spreadsheet modeling it should be fine.
Pros:
G suite is versatile, easy to use and flexible. Google makes collaboration very easy, and obviously search is a strength of the platform given the publisher.
Cons:
The software that is intended to compete with Microsoft: sheets, slides etc. are all a little light on features. Google sheets in particular cannot hold Microsoft Excel’s jock. As a basic spreadsheet platform it’s fine, but don’t expect to do any detailed number crunching or data modeling.

I Love G-Suite
Comments: Overall, I’m pretty happy with G Suite. It’s a great hub for my businesses.
Pros:
I like the amount of space that I have for my GDrive for each of my email addresses & the easy navigation and accessibility to Google’s suite of products. I also like the fact that multiple people can work on a document at the same time.
Cons:
1. The search tool can be really sucky at times. I’ve searched for emails and senders that ended up in zero search results which can be really frustrating. 2. Also, I don’t receive some emails (this doesn’t happen often) or the emails arrive days later. Now I know it’s not on my end because we have Xfinity Comcast and I haven’t had any problems with that service. 3. I don’t like emails being collapsed. I’d rather the emails be in one long thread not collapsible tabs. It gets confusing.

Our Team Lives by G Suite
Pros:
Our team lives by using G Suite. We love it. There is only one feature i wish it had. (see below) other than that it is perfect, really. and the price is great. love the mobile apps for android and ios. amazing. not many people know g suite is hipaa compliant, that is, if you have google sign a BAA with your company. this is great.
Cons:
i wish you could search WITHIN documents on your computer. in order to do this, you need to go to the web interface. you can only search by file names, etc. on your computer.

All in one solution for new companies
Comments:
There is hardly any other tool that offers this much at this price. Google Drive and all its document creation features are essentially a must in any modern company, and the only other option is Office 365 which is still miles away due to their late online adoption and unreasonable price. And it comes attached with the de-facto email manager and a calendar that works out of the vox in almost any android device.
The value for money is very competitive.
Pros:
GSuite is a plug and play set of productivity tools for virtually any company but specially but starting companies (as early choices may have large impacts down the road). If you're looking into having your email account set up with your domain name, this is the way to go as it works seamlessly to provide a gmail account in that domain (little configuration). Plus, along comes a calendar, video-calls, cloud space for files, and a suite of document creation tools (docs, sheets, slides, etc). Since all of these are very connected with each other, this was a no-brainer choice and very powerful for startups.
Cons:
Google created an amazing product by just stiching several of its already existing products and making them work together really well, but beyond that (which is already a lot) there is little else. For example, it's just normal that people enter and leave a company, and the support for forwarding emails or managing these "old accounts" is limited. Other specific functionalities are also limited or a bit too complicated in comparison with the rest of the suite, like managing rooms, creating email lists, or controlling permissions. Also, one misses a Slack-like functionality. Where is google's version of slack? It could so easily be integrated in Gsuite.
Google Workspace is the perfect tool to run your online business
Comments: My experience with Google Workspace has been great. It has allowed me to have a more professional presence for my freelance writing business with a custom email address for my website, as well as to be able to collaborate on files with clients instead of just from a regular gmail account. The extra Google Drive storage space is a nice bonus too.
Pros:
The main reason I subscribed to Google Workspace was to get a custom email address for my domain and to be able to use it in Gmail. I also like the additional Google Drive storage space, as well as use the collaboration and sharing features to deliver all my client work in Google Docs and Google Drive.
Cons:
There is honestly nothing that I don't like about Google Workspace. At times it can be a bit confusing to navigate through menus to find what I am specifically looking for. But with a quick Google search I can find it.
Alternatives Considered:
User friendly
Comments: Very user friendly easy to understand the setting is customizable. very efficient in using this in managing a large team cascading info lightning fast.
Pros:
All in one package for me as an employee. we use it to time in and time out on our work also sharing files with each other is very convenient. what I like the most is the schedule reminder having multiple android device whatever I am using it will remind me like 10 minutes before my meeting start in google meet.
Cons:
When I used the Google workspace chat features there are some limitation like sending a file video sometimes it fails if it reach certain MB but always succeed if I send it in facebook messenger. I wish the mb limitation of how you send video in google workspace chat features will be larger in this we dont need to like jump in messenger if sending certain video wont upload in chat feature of google worksapce. and some of the android device like samsung galaxy note 10 plus is not full optimized in google workspace chat features randomly crashes or failed to send.

Google Workspace - the original and still the best 'business productivity suite'.
Comments: I've run my business using these tools for the past 10 years. I wouldn't dream of using anything else.
Pros:
I've been using it since approx 2012. It was great then and it's a million times better now. I love the fact that 'all' of my biz productivity tools are all in one place, and all from one provider.
Cons:
Bizarrely, my only criticsm of Google Workspace is the fact that it doesn't do more e.g.) CRM / Order Management / Payment gateways. So, no real negatives.
Good for what it is
Comments: Google Workspace was the easiest to integrate with our website host, which is why we went that avenue; however, after our subscription ends, we may consider looking at a different avenue. Google is one of the most expensive options, and while it does work and you are likely to not ever experience issues in functionality, if you need any help with issues that cannot be solved via chatbot or help articles, it's almost impossible to get assistance from Google. We still have existing customer service help requests or review requests that have cases that have been open for years. Overall, Google workspace is simple, straightforward, easy-to-set up, and does what it says it will; our complains would be that it is probably the most costly option, has some features that are lacking and need to be updates, and Google's abysmal customer service.
Pros:
We chose Google Workspace primarily because of it's compatibility with our current website. They are our host's partner. The ease-of-use is hard to beat. Google's service is great in the set-up stage. For the most part, everything works as it should, and Google offers a lot of helpful features to assist in document management, reports, etc. that can all be used in the day-to-day business management.
Cons:
Google's service after you are a customer is abysmal and disappointing. You can only get assistance via chatbots and online articles, so if there is an actual issue, good luck getting it resolved. The customization features for the inbox are lacking (Outlook's is what I would consider ideal). While google's tools and features are helpful, I would generally consider what Microsoft has to offer as better and used more frequently.
It's So Easy To Use You Feel Bad For Using It
Comments: Almost every business I have worked with over the last ten years or so has been rooted in Google Suite products, from advertising to basic internal communication. Over the years I've become extremely familiar with Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, AdWords, AdSense, scripting automation, Maps, Earth, YouTube, Chromecast, Analytics, Waze, Calendar, Android, Keep, Slides... and I'm pretty sure there are more that ought to be on the list, but the point is there is a Google version of almost everything I need to do. I was an early adopter of Microsoft's original OLE (object linking and embedding) that allowed you to be able to manage your data in one place (the database) and have changes reflected everywhere the data was used - Word Docs, Excel spreadsheets, Project reports and so on. G-Suite is like Office on steroids mixed with a little free 'crack' to keep you coming back - because they keep adding new functionality and it almost never costs the user a dime... as long as you don't mind being the commodity.
Pros:
There's no getting around the fact that the single most compelling reason to use the Google suite of business apps is that they are free for the average user. Gmail itself is ubiquitous, so no matter what group you work with - room mothers, band members, co-workers, volunteers - anyone with internet access either has, or can easily create, a Gmail address and boom - you're all part of a system that is easy to control. Sharing documents with Google Drive is way better than clogging up someone's email sending them file attachments. You can even share files with people you don't know - got a downloadable product you want to sell and don't have the time or the money to set up a full-fledged store? Include a secure link in a shared Google Drive file in an email or on a web page or even in a receipt. It's so easy you feel like you cheated. Another reason for using the Google Suite of products is that no matter what aspect of the G-Suite you are digging into, there will be a LOT of info out on the internet about how to get the most out of it. YouTube, Adwords scripts, spreadsheet automation, data reporting, maps to your business location, photo management and sharing, translating documents, managing your money, operating a classroom, casting web content to your TV... the list is extensive, and so are the online resources - videos and articles by users abound.
Cons:
One drawback to using this software is that it's unequivocally connected to YOU. Google Maps knows where you are if you have it installed on a phone. Every single IP address used to access any part of the Google universe is logged. Google code is in everything, all over the place. It's a little big-brother-feeling. That's the trade-off. You get all their software for free, but you give up your anonymity.
all in one program
Comments: My overall impression is I enjoy Google Workspace and for the project I use and my collaborating team have no problems with communication and we enjoy the vault where we all can gain access and work at our own pace.Mostly I love being able to incorporate my childs school into my calendar and I can receive updates and work that needs more attention,so no part of my life suffers. It depends on the tools and the designing techniques you require. It has everything you need for work and home life.
Pros:
With Google Workspace you are getting quality and quantity. You get Gmail, chat, meet,Calendar,Drive (for storage )Docs,Sheets,Slides,Forms and there is a site to do collaberations with other members of your group as well as a vault to use between your collaberators. Its fully facilitated so you can take it where ever you go and use it in real time and send Emails to anyone anywhere in the world. You can get unlimited data,as well as data storage.I love that it has security features and workspace integrations. It can be used by anyone for any reason. It is a great source for teachers and students to keep in touch,as well as parents who's child is sick and needs to keep up with his or her school work it's a graet feature to have set up with a teacher,it makes a big difference in your childs grades because what they are suppose to know, you know as well.I keep track of everything in my calendar and have alerts sent to me,so I do not miss any deadlines.I am very empressed with how well this works for me and I am able to incorporate my childs school life into my own,so I dont miss out.It is very user friendly and easy to share files.
Cons:
To be able to use the collaboration tools each recipient must be a google account holder, which is not hard to do,but it depends on the recipients abilities and what system they embrace. As for your childs school work, there is no desktop for productivity and there are less document task features. This workspace is just serving the basic functions, they do not have advanced features like you would find on microsoft 360 ,So if you work on design projects the upgrades can get expensive.I find it is not suited for a large buisness,so another program is needed.
G Suite has managed our business systems for years and revolutionised how we work.
Comments: It centralised all of our business productivity needs. As a tool for small businesses it is immensely powerful and has the reliability to be your go to business tool. Switching from traditional networking may be jarring, but the collaborative benefits make it worthwhile. Getting the core productivity tools along with extras such as Google Meet for video chat and screen sharing, Google Chat for team based conversations and planning (think Slack), Calendar, Forms and a rich admin interface that let's you control and customise a great number of options for the service makes it huge value for money. You're also supported by knowledgeable Google staff if you need support with administering the system thanks to the included phone, chat and email support.
Pros:
G Suite comes with a raft of tools. The basics are the office productivity software with Docs, Sheets, Slides and GMail. The office-esque document tools are more than just basic online editor. They are competent and functional tools that would accommodate 90% of your work. The main power of Google Docs is the collaborative tools. You can edit a document live with other members of your team and see the changes instantly. If anyone has come from network-based sharing, it's a game-changer for distributed teams and ensuring that versions are not overridden. GMail is much like the free version that you may be accustomed to. It has all of the filters and label functionality that you need to manage your inbox reliably. If you are desperate to use it in other email clients, there is IMAP connectivity and a connector for Outlook. I try and steer my colleagues away from these but the option is there for even difficult users. Drive is a sophisticated web interface for storing all of your Google documents. Any Google documents take zero space. Other files, such as Microsoft Office documents and PDFs take up additional room as these are "real" files. Using the Google File Stream tool on your PC makes it appear as a new hard drive on your computer. You can access files on the fly from Explorer without having to download all of the files onto your drive. A neat feature of Drive is that you can store files in more than one location, a la Linux file links.
Cons:
As Google have expanded G Suite to include many more tools, some services seem to fall behind. The todo / tasks tool feels like it was put together decades ago and hasn't seen any improvements. Also, there is a learning curve. The language in GMail and Drive is different from standard mail clients and computer desktops. People need to be trained to use something that is, in principal, something that is almost the same but not quite. Some newer features of G Suite are also paywalled. There are now three tiers of pricing for G Suite - you should check over all of the products and see which one meets your needs and if it's enough for you. Google Meet, for example, is the new version of Hangouts. I'd hoped to use this to replace Go To Meeting but some basic features are only available in the Enterprise version, making the cost exceed the product I hoped to replace. Finally, you may be looking at Office 365 as a competitor. It's worth noting that Office 365 includes the desktop versions of Office. If this is something you need, the web-only versions of Google's tools may not be enough for you.

Ideal cloud storage tool, preferred remote working, and preferred cooperation
Comments: It provides a strong, accessible, and collaborative platform for machine learning, data analysis, and exploration applications. I particularly value the features that promote collaboration, the flexibility to create different permissions, and product integration. I've used Gmail since its inception, therefore I have great faith in Google and what they do. Every day I use Google Workspace, and while it occasionally can be difficult, most of the time it works really well.
Pros:
Users may access their emails, documents, and files via the mobile applications for Google Workspace on Android and iOS devices. Lesson planners, calendars, quiz creators, grade books, reports, and meeting schedulers are just a few of the various solutions offered by the templates for use in education. It provides a strong, accessible, and collaborative platform for machine learning, data analysis, and exploration applications. The ability to seamlessly collaborate is one of Google Workspace's unique characteristics. I have complete control over who has access to what and may grant clients direct access to shared documents.
Cons:
I wish Google Spreadsheets included all the choices that are present in Excel. A portion of Google Workspace apps may be used offline, however, the functionality is limited compared to when the computer is online. There may be a learning curve involved in navigating and comprehending all the functions, especially for those coming from other office suites. Teams can easily interact and offer feedback thanks to the real-time editing, commenting, and version history capabilities, which encourage effective cooperation.
