Pros:

It has helped us to achieve our goals and meet our deadlines. Ora has been easy to use for everybody in the company.

Cons:

More of a user error, but if I leave it running and forget about it, I have a long time period and I have to go back and fix the time, sometimes fixing the time isn't super intuitive.

My Life with Ora

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Moving a personal project regardless of scope and size is very easy.
For teams:
- I've easily used some of the collaboration features and splitting some tasks was pretty rewarding.
- I've never had the opportunity to suggest Ora as a PM tool for the teams where I've worked simply because the expensive licenses for the famous enterprise solutions were already bought. On occasion, I'd always suggest Ora.

Pros:

I use Ora every day. That's because it's more suitable and featureful than any personal planning application I've met so far. I'm not saying it's a mere tool for managing one's daily activities, I'm saying that for a full-fledged and enterprise-ready project management application it allows you even that, unlike most of the big players.

Cons:

What I didn't like about Ora, is my indecisiveness in which template to choose when I start a new project. But is this really Ora's problem or my personal trait?

Your data is at risk!

3.0 4 years ago

Comments: Everything was good for me until they removed with any further notice my users and data got removed.

Pros:

Ora is a beautiful PM tool, easy to use and really improving slowly but consistently every year.

Cons:

Your data is not safe there, I meant to have a paid account for 10 users, and suddenly 8 of them were removed from my account with zero warning or any previous notice. Ora is not a reliable platform, their billing system is messy and they really don't care to communicate with users if you need to upgrade or backup any information before they downgrade or simply delete your users.

Excellent!

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Pleasant to work with and excellent overviews.

Pros:

The clear dashboard and the possibility to make our own templates.

Cons:

I think it is designed for the IT-business. We miss a feature to fill in separate an hours-administration which we can share with our clients. And we miss the possibility to print.

Good, but could be great

4.0 8 months ago

Comments: Overall we enjoy using it even though we're disappointed with the chat. The lack of a documentation feature is also a downside but we know it is on the roadmap and, for the time being at least, we're waiting for its implementation.

Pros:

Ease of use, without a steep learning curve. It's easy enough to quickly setup a project and create/assign tasks. Schedulling came pretty handy recently as well.

Cons:

The chat. We were eager to move our company's chat to Ora but we find it to be unreliable. It seems like we don't always get notifications and the Huddles seem even less reliable. Whenever we tried to Huddle, we were never able to get everyone seeing/hearing each other, there were always someone who couldn't see/hear some other members.

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: These are the kinds of project management techniques that enabled me to generate revenue for my clients and myself. “Finally, they're expressed in a systematic, easy-to-understand, easy-to-use way.

Pros:

As more and more projects seem to pile up all around us, an upgrade to our thinking and problem solving skills is desperately needed. Enter Ora, the Swiss Army knife of project management techniques.

Cons:

I've been using Ora- at work, and now for personal use - and it does not have any disadvantage, I'd be interested to know if it has any more advantages over other PM software

Ora review

4.0 8 months ago

Pros:

Great task management system, simple but effect.

Cons:

Because it is "newer" it does seem to have more bugs that need to get worked out but the team is very responsive when you report them.

Project and Task Management Made Easy

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

I needed something to help me get things done. I can use this for business and personal projects. I love the agenda so I can see what’s current and coming up. Ora continues to make updates and improve their software. I use this for content creation, marketing, social media and so much more. Every aspect of my business is managed in Ora.

Cons:

There isn’t anything hung I don’t like but if I had to choose something I would say the templates could be better.

Ora is my favorite task management tool

5.0 8 months ago

Comments: Excellent. I love Ora and how it helps me to accomplish complex tasks by breaking down projects into their components and helping me to organize what needs to be done, what I am working on, and what has been completed.

Pros:

I love the many features that allow me to organize my lists of tasks in ways that make sense to me, and automated functions that save time and effort.

Cons:

Ora is designed for teams of many people to coordinate and work together on a large task, where I am using it for a very small team, so sometimes getting it to apply to our smaller operation takes a bit of thought, but we are still able to make it work very well, even for one or two people instead of a team of 20-40 or more.

This is the best PM tool I've used!!

5.0 5 years ago

Pros:

It allows me to sync tasks to my calendar. There are lots of different settings and features that I can turn on like time tracking and creating milestones that are super helpful. It keeps me organized and I LOVE IT!

Cons:

I think the only thing I could consider a con is that they don't have a mobile app available yet, but it's in the works.

general review

4.0 8 months ago

Comments: Ora is a robust and flexible project management platform suitable for teams of all sizes. Its intuitive interface, variety of task management tools, and customization options make it an attractive choice for teams looking for a comprehensive collaboration and project management solution. However, users should be aware of the costs associated with paid plans and the initial learning curve when starting to use the platform.

Pros:

Ora offers integrations with several other popular tools such as Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, and others, making it easy to incorporate the platform into existing workflows.

Cons:

Some advanced features and customization options are available only in paid plans, leaving the free plan with limited functionality.

Long Time User!

5.0 8 months ago

Pros:

I've been a user of Ora since 2018 and have tried nearly every project management tool on the market. Ora's pricing, feature set and customization is the best, bar none.

Cons:

While Ora devs have been great at releasing stable and robust features for Web and Desktop, the mobile applications are lacking. Two-way calendar synchronization with Outlook and time blocking capabilities are also another area that Ora is lacking.

Cons:

Sometimes it's hard to find some tasks when archiving or backloging; I found it difficult to start a new sprint because I feel a little lost in where the unfinished tasks went.

A nice project management platform with an entire communication hub inside.

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: I have used Ora for very specific projects, but the team involved found it not so intuitive at the beginning and it has been hard to get keep them logging on to the platform. I used other platforms for different projects with more complex requirements. However, teams looking to manage simple projects could totally take advantage of Ora

Pros:

-Videocalls and audio and audio recordings with one click from any task. -Annotations on files or videos, this is incredibly useful if you are doing something related to marketing, web design, graphic design, and work where you need clients commenting and giving feedback on specific sections. -The colors and the design.

Cons:

-Learning curve -It has been buggy several times (issues with the tasks)

A project manager that does what you need and does it well

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Ora is an outstanding Project Management product. Far from being a multi-tool solution, it focuses on a small set of futures and performs extremely well. Its snappy and minimal interface stays out of the way letting teams get work done. There’s even a desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Pros:

A beautiful, clean-looking app. Focused on doing the crucial duty of a project management system with a lot of competence and very little of those bloating unproductive features. You start at Ora by creating your first project. While most applications will lock you on a specific framework — like Kanban boards or task lists — Ora offers a whole set of templates, pre-adjusted for diverse scenarios. Those could be an event, an issue tracker, a full-fledged Scrum layout, a simple to-do list and more. Advanced users may start with a blank canvas and design their perfect environment.

Cons:

Comments inside tasks are sorted from the oldest to the newest. Some threads can get long end scrolling down to what you need to see ends up taking more time than necessary. The ability to reverse that and have the sorting as a personal preference would be wonderful. Ora doesn’t have an iOS app yet. The app has been on the company’s roadmap for a while and a beta is already out there. This doesn’t affect me much since most of my work is done while I am on my main computer, but I am sure lots of people out there could benefit from the mobile experience. I don’t mind using the mobile web version of anything when the functionality is not compromised. It’s not the case here. Ora on the mobile browser does not provide the same seamless experience you get on the desktop version.

Intuitive Trello on steroids - powerful as Jira simple to use as Trello

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: Flawless, intuitive and the best value for money in the market. I've used to work with Jira and Trello in the past but our team was totally reborned after switching to Ora!

Pros:

The design and UX are flawless while combining everything a software & product development team needs for a managing own projects and working with clients. What I love most about is the simple Time-Tracking (play/pause) and the detail reports that you can deliver to clients in minutes...

Cons:

There's some functionality that I don't use but still can access from the board - the Agenda Scheduling & Time-line. It may be good for handling longer projects and resource manager but I personally don't need it.

We use Ora to keep tracking on what we work on. We charge clients based on it, so its very important

4.0 7 years ago

Comments: Organization and time tracking is the main function of Ora.
Jobs and tasks can be organized in Kanban cards for teams, is perfect! The basic functionality already worth the tool, but there are much more, like checklists, milestones, etc.

Pros:

Ora has a beautiful interface and the team keep updating this tool always! Sometimes I can see an alert telling me about somenthing new! Kanban/cards organization is really useful and helps to keep the project flow. I love the 'checklist' option inside one task, it helps a lot!

Cons:

The functionality of adding extra time is a little bit confused and buggy, but I guess it's already on their roadmap! :)

The first Project Management Tool that I do really use (and enjoy using)

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: Over the past 5 years I have tried around 7 different project management tools. Both for me and for the team. But none did really work of us. Sometimes where difficult to use open source solutions, other times they were expensive for the value that they gave us, and only with trello and asana had good results. but they end up forgotten. I think this time the time tracking and the beautiful design has helped.

Pros:

I like the design of the tool, how user friendly it is and the many features that it has for example the time tracking, reports, team chat, etc and the one that are being developed. It is very easy to use, there are already done easy templates. I personally like the dark mode that has, also it ads sound and animation to the time tracking when changing the cards from column to column. That makes that the project becomes more like a game.

Cons:

Of course, what I like the less it is that it is a paid app. I mean, trello and asana have free versions. Anycase if it is tool that you use daily to handle a project or your complete work, the cost is quite reasonable.

Ora - Project & task management made simple!

4.0 5 years ago

Comments: A pleasant experience. Setting up different team members was a breeze and required minimal workarounds.

Pros:

Ora removes all the things you hate about project management and task management. Regardless of your team size and their different roles, Ora makes management a breeze. Setup and remove tasks easily, change who is assigned what and more with just mere clicks!

Cons:

Wish it had a mobile app like other tools in this field. So you can use it on the go.

A good product but...

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Overall, I would say this is an excellent product, but I think it still needs a little tuning! The reason that made me stop using it was that I found another app with more features that I needed, but I would still recommend Ora!

Pros:

It's super easy to use and to understand while setting it up. The software look clean and was fun to use every day!

Cons:

I used it every day to help me manage my daily task, but there were a couple of times when I couldn't use the software because it wouldn't charge, nothing work.. that was enough for me to start using another app.

Best Project Management Software and getting better

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: This is a continual learning process for me. Prior to this, I used to-do programs for project tasks and it wasn't effective at all. Ora brings it all together is a project management tool, versus just to-do lists. There's a lot to learn and I need to spend the time to learn all of its features. I still use Microsoft project for Work Breakdown Structures (Gantt chart) but that's about it. Otherwise, I'm using Ora to manage my projects.

Pros:

this software has all the features and functionality needed for project management. They recently added a timeline feature which is helpful. The best feature for me is the time tracking. I can track time easily for each task and project. It has many configurations and I'm in the process of creating templates to reuse for similar projects which will be extremely helpful.

Cons:

Navigation or ease of use. It's not exactly intuitive to use. I spent a bit of time learning how to find the functionality that I need. It's there, I just have to search for it.
