Comments: I've used Kipu for the last 8 years and it has been useful for assessment, treatment planning, and documenting treatment, and discharge

Pros:

I use Kipu's library to support treatment planning/strategyKipu also has a section with multiple assessments that are convenient and useful

Cons:

Kipu is a secure system and will require administrator support if login problems occur

KIPU Is Absolutely Amazing

Comments: It's everything you want in an electronic medical program. After a two-month "learning curve," I was able to appreciate all of the everyday benefits of the KIPU EMR. My company relies heavily on KIPU for communication with each other. Everyone in our office uses it, and we can see each other's entries.

Pros:

I like being able to share documents with Clients' parents, allow them to review the documents online, and have the parent sign the document even though they are not in the same room with you. Parents can be in another state or another part of the country, and they can still access any document I share with them.

Cons:

It took me approximately two months to learn all of the tools needed to make KIPU an "everyday" user friendly system for myself. I like everything about KIPU. It's (now) easy to navigate, and it's the "end all, be all" system for all of my company's electronic medical record needs.

The Lie of “the gold standard”

Comments: I could honestly go on for days about why I don’t like this software but the biggest part is the lie of them calling themselves “the gold standard” on EHR when I’ve used cheaper softwares that are 10x more effective and efficient. I’ve been nothing but disappointed since day 1 of using Kipu. It’s caused me so much frustration and my team and I have to keep up with things on spreadsheets and paper still just to be able to stay organized when (for the cost of this software) should never have to use outside tools to run our program. Several things I’ve asked for Kipu responds with “Kipu doesn’t support this feature at this time” and it’s simple things that every other software I’ve used does with no question” so…..”Rachel does not support Kipu at this time” lol 😂

Pros:

Nothing at all…honestly disappointed about all features accept that it’s hippa compliant just like any other. It looks pretty like the face sheets are cute.

Cons:

-- Calendar and notes are not connected. The calendars on EHR's typically will connect appointments on calendar with the clinical note and will pre-populate date, time, service type, client name, billing provider, diagnosis codes, (and possibly tons of other important information) that the clinician shouldn't have to click or choose. This creates organization and efficiency and saves a lot of time and frustration. Kipu doesn’t do this - Calendar will suddenly stop working and won't allow me to push buttons or choose time of service without reloading the whole program.-terrible customer service: you have to write tickets for every problem and cannot talk on the phone to a person. It just took me 3 days to communicate back and forth about an issue with a calendar glitch where unwanted appointments won’t delete….the issue still isn’t resolved I’m on to day four. They’re response is for me to tell them the times the appointment are and have them delete them for me Lol 😂 like THATS an effective solution….I don’t have time to submit a ticket every time I need to delete something from my own calender…….and Don’t expect a response faster than 24 hours.

Comments: my experience is that its fast and easy to use

Pros:

its fast and pretty easy to use and understand

Cons:

it dosent take off some things that have already been documented

Mostly Proficient

Comments: Overall it has a proficient performance with a few drawbacks that cause extra work.

Pros:

Ease of documentation and teachability. Able to auto populate necessary forms.

Cons:

How the forms don't pull from one section to another on a regular basis. Also, we run 3 different Kipu setups and cannot transfer charts between the systems.

Kipu- It's worth it, HIPAA Compliant, and highly useful.

Comments: Generally, KIPU has been great- it has the functionality that we need, and the options are fairly easy to get used to.

Pros:

I need a client portal, that allows me to do my noting and charting, maintain and audit records.

Cons:

I've never been happy with the CSSRS- I think it needs more options, including "N/A?"

Superior product

Comments: Overall this is a much better system than the competitors system. I love using KIPU.

Pros:

It has the necessary complexity to ensure all records are maintained along with the legal aspects all the while providing ease of use.

Cons:

Having immediate customer support is not always easy.

Clinical Case Management Filing

Comments: I like to ease of use and it's ability to collect and manage a large amount of data on each client.

Pros:

I like how all data types are kept in one place and easily accessible for myself and my colleagues.

Cons:

The customizing of it linking to other software products leaves it to stand on its own and I wish it would speak to other databases.

A Review About KIPU.

Comments: It been good to use and very easy to learn it is a great success.

Pros:

It is simple and easy for some of our staff including me to learn how to use it when I first started out with ARC.

Cons:

It can be slow at times bringing up our clients name.

Kipu the awesome

Pros:

Documentation no more paperwork or hard copies to try to file

Cons:

When it goes down or has an issue we can’t control the issue and have to wait

BILLING CLERK

Comments: HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIPU EMR FOR ALL SERVICES.

Pros:

VERY EASY TO NAVIGATE. I'VE USED OTHER EMR, THIS ONE IS BEST.

Cons:

NO COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS SYSTEM, IT IS VERY WASY TO USE.

Only regret is that we didn't get it sooner!

Great and easy to work with

Comments: My overall experience with Kipu was the best on hands to work with.

Their is really nothing that iiked least about Kipu because Kipu is the best.

Kipu Capabilities

Comments: Overall, my experience has been proactive. I can see if the patient left AMA previously and what transpired while they were in the facility. This information is a valuable tool in order to keep everyone safe.

Pros:

What I like most about Kipu is the ease of going from one tab to another. I can look at a patients last chart to better understand changes, or lack of changes. I can easily find new patients from their picture, number, and location. I can see who needs to see the doctor or ARPN on that day. Most of all, if a mistake has been made, it can be fixed. No more crossing out in pen with one line and 'error' written along with initials. Also, preadmission and insurance information is already on Kipu before I start an intake, so I'm not going in blind, nor do I have to spend time finding this information, which helps the process for the patient go easier.

Cons:

I have no input. I love Kipu. It was easy to learn and it generates information so that I don't have to keep repeating manually.

Kipu usefulness

Comments: Kipu is user friendly and adequate for the needs of Innercept to stay informed about of residences.

Pros:

Its a way to stay informed regarding our residences.

Cons:

The information tabs can get confusing at times.

It's easy to use, and has support and easy to understand.

There should be some new forms to help with therapy notes.

KIPU Makes Documenting Seamless!!

Comments: love it!!!! would highly recommend it!!!

Pros:

As a therapist KIPU offers a great product for the mental health field. This system is easy to use, navigate and is relevant to the functions I must perform on a daily basis. KIPU's seamless end to end system allows me to chart the progress of my patient, write progress notes, treatment plans, intakes, discharges, medical charts, clinical assessments all in one place. KIPU is by far one of the easiest systems I have used and takes all the stress out of documenting and notetaking. Love this system would highly recommend it!!

Cons:

nothing. Everything is already preloaded making my documenting seamless.

Pros:

I like how organized and accessible it is.

Cons:

Kipu signs me out a lot of the time. Though its annoying i can understand the reasoning.

Comments: I’ve used the Kipu App going on 5 years. Kipu is easy to use. You can run reports, update information, save document. Kipu is valuable tool for any business.

Pros:

Easy to use, reliable, easy to add documents and files, fast allowing you move from screen to screen. Holds and protects wealth of information.

Cons:

I have no cons to share. Kipu meets my every need.

Best EMR System for Behavioral Health

Pros:

Easy to use. Various Wiley Homework Options.

Needed More training modules for use on system.

Comments: It's been great ever since I first used it. I have been at three companies that all used Kipu, and it is the best.

Pros:

It's very user-friendly, and always adaptive.

Cons:

When I am doing group notes, and it freezes and doesn't save my work.

Comments: It has been the best EMR I have used in my experience.

I like the ability to toggle between patients quickly and access multiple programs.

Forms being deleted after being kicked off.

Kipu is the best system I've seen

Comments: The overall experience is good but it's a steep learning curve. I'm constantly learning new things.

Pros:

I like that many forms are integrated and self-populate to minimize the redundancies in documentation.

Cons:

As a therapist I would like to see more diagnosis and more flexible diagnosis. For instance, in order to diagnose/create a treatment plan for an anger problem I would have to choose between a diagnosis that includes conduct disorder or homicidally these labels are not always in the best interest of my patients.

The best system to use

Comments: I have never used a system so easy in all the years of working. I highly recommend KIPU. I’m 60 and I sometimes forget but with KIPU you don’t forget it right there and easy to remember.

Pros:

Everything , the system is the best and super easy to use. I highly recommend this system to all business

There is nothing I don’t like about the system.
