Wasp Works

Comments: Overall I would describe wasp as a useful tool for Ordering, Inventory, and order management.

Pros:

The interface for wasp is easy to understand. like most databases there is alot of functionality which we dont use all of. But the ability to make changes and corrections is quick and easy.

Cons:

what i like least about Wasp is the reporting section of the interface. there are no custom reports available so I cannot run reports that would be more helpful to me that those that are already shown.

Tool inventory

Comments: Overall its been great. Its nice to use an ipad to look at everything and the scan readers really do save time.

Pros:

The ability to adapt the entire system to what you need to utilize it with.

Cons:

For transferring tools; you have to transfer each individual tool instead of adding multiple items at a time.

WASP Inventory Review

Comments: Over all my experience with WASP has been quite frustrating. I have had very hard times contacting customer support, and when there is an error that doesn't seem to make sense, getting in contact with customer support makes it feel even more impossible. I do however like the ease of use, it's very user friendly from a visible standpoint and doesn't deter new users like other inventory softwares do. WASP is perfect for small businesses with minimal moving parts that need basic inventory tracking at a fair price. Only with larger businesses will you see WASP's functionality decline. For our business, we believe we have exceeded WASP's capabilities.

Pros:

What I like most about this software is that it is easy to introduce new users too. The interface is simple and easy to understand for people who may have not used an inventory system before. The design on the handheld devices is easily digestible and doesn't discourage new users because of its simple and familiar feeling interface.

Cons:

Barcode customization and tracking has been incredibly painstaking to use. Many customization features are not easily available, even something as simple as adjusting the size of a barcode. The search features, while available, are very difficult to understand. Filtering the search items only further complicates the search itself. It would be nice if there was a filter just to see a single days moves, or if there is an existing filter for this, for it to be more obvious to the user.

Barcode led Inventory management system helps in real time tracking and managing the assets from one end to another. Managing the assets from e mail purchase orders and complete online engagement from start to end helps in efficient supply management, thus resulting in better performance outcome. This web based inventory management system can be accessed easily via mobile and tablet devices as well and is very easy to handle and functionality is trouble free. Managing the assets through serial number is easy and accessible all the time. No more hassle in managing the bulk orders.

Cons:

No problem faced till date. More and more customization is requested to improve the supply chain system to its best as per current business dynamics. Real time functionality and auditing of the orders through barcode scanning often hangs or slows down and buffer in web, which can be resolved immediately. Else, everything is just perfect.

Small Town Food Pantry Inventory Control

Comments: This allows us to track control and adjust our inventory levels for multiple items to best serve our clients. Hundreds of families in our small community rely on us to help with food insecurities.

Pros:

Easy to use system that has proven to be reliable and easy to use by all of our volunteers over the past year. Easy to use DR5 scanners.

Cons:

Lost the ability to print item barcodes with descriptions mid year. After updating software the function returned and has functioned correctly ever since.

The automation side of it for reporting is slightly complicated and feels restricted. I wish the process for generating information was simpler and more streamlined.

Inventory Cloud

Comments: It's been very convinient for us to have the cloud set up, it given us more features / tools to get our orders processed and tracked through our shop down to the end user, It's a must have for any buisness

Pros:

I've been using the Wasp Inventory Control for about 5 years now and just upgraded to the Inventory Cloud and it has been much easier to use, also the software gives the user the option of using our mobile devices instead of the scanner in certain cases. One of the best items also provided with the upgrade is the availability of creating your own custom reports very important in tracking your inventory . It's a must have program if you want to make sure all your inventory is squared away..

Cons:

Only one real issue I've had is label printing not as easy as the previous version, Creating the label is not the real issue it's having to modify a labels size .. Not user friendly when it comes to label modification. Not a deal breaker.. I do have a work around only because I've been using inventory control for some time now.

Inventory 1

Comments: WASP has done what is was supposed to do and it is much better than a paper and pen process. Wasp is overall a good inventory software with some small issues here and there, but very useful.

Pros:

The software is a complete inventory software. The software mainly runs well for what it is. It does what it is supposed to do. Good for general inventory functions.

Cons:

At times the system runs slow, and picking large orders can take a long time. The system has crashed or locked up on occasion resulting in lost data and forcing users to start over (rare but it happens). At times tickets have been opened with WASP and I have not heard back about some issues, but the WASP techs are always helpful when on the phone. There is an issue with not being able to pull the full amount of inventory from a none primary location. This has been going on for sometime. I have followed up several times in the past, but I do not remember WASP ever following up with me about the issue. Some other small issues such as not being able to delete past PO's after they are closed out etc.

Game changer

Comments: Prior to getting Inventory Cloud I had to manually keep track of my inventory taking up a lot of time to maintain. Since my company has purchased the Inventory Cloud software, it has made running the warehouse easier and more accurate. I can now order materials and equipment with Inventory Cloud software, and the employees can now make a pick list of what they need for a job.

Pros:

The check in-check out feature is a game changer for my company. I no longer have to write down what went where and who has it. Very easy to use.

Cons:

There has only been one short time that the software was acting up. It was just after an update that was done to the system and it wasn't sending my orders to my vendors. This was a moderate inconvenience for me. Once I realized that my orders were not being sent to my vendors, I called the support team at Wasp. They were aware of the issue (from other companies that had called) and resolved the problem in a very timely manner.

Great for any company who needs inventory assistance.

Comments: We can keep our inventory, orders, picks for specific work orders, and incoming items organized easily by using this system. It helps us a great deal every day here at our company.

Pros:

I love that we can use it on the go. We can count our inventory going in and out while actually on the floor looking at it. It is easily used with our other systems and helps us a great deal with keeping up with the amount of raw material and finished goods we have here at our location.

Cons:

The specific thing I did not like about the software was fixed with the last update. We had an issue when we tried to change an order. We were not able to delete specific line items in a pick or purchase order. We would have to make another with a different title. We no longer have to do that. We are able to delete a line item and something else. Yay. Go Wasp!!!

Easy to customise

Comments: It is a great system with multiple features to assist many different industries, you are going to have small issues with in any OS.

Pros:

Once you get the system set up to your needs and how to efficiently operate it, it is easy and quick to do your day to day tasks at any level. It's great to be able to access your information from anywhere.

Cons:

if there is any network interference during any transaction type you will loose your progress. The other the issue i have is there are times when you will complete a transaction but the system wont register the transaction.

Good Software

Comments: I use this software everyday for my occupation. I overall enjoy using this software, as it has been a major aid for our company. I think there is opportunity for this software to be better, but I see the team is working hard to accomplish this.

Pros:

The software is easy for any user to learn and operate. I have been able to control my inventory at two locations with this software.

Cons:

The updates tend to have issues inside of it every time there is a major update. I have lost PO's in this system due to an update. The positive is the team is easy to work with while they try to figure it out.

Warehouse Management End User

Comments: ease in maintaining the inventory levels.

Pros:

The ease of transferring from an older system, as in entering all the new items and adjusting amounts.

Cons:

You must remember the location of a product when 'adjusting'. Should show the locations and amount of items in each in a drop down if need be. Else you have to leave the adjust screen and go into another to find the location/s to choose from. Report modification is not easy, must have more training.

Perfect software if you have a Laptop Loaner Program

Comments: I overall love using this software, it makes my work load a lot easier with this tracking systems and very easy to use.

Pros:

Features that i use on a daily basis is under the tab of Transactions -check out, check in I use these two features to check out/check in laptops to borrowers . Under the tab Lookups i frequently use Student to create new profiles and attach documents to student profiles and check profile history of transactions.

Cons:

View assets has to many sections and i do not use all features

Comments: We are pleased with the program, but would like to see improvements as descripted above.

Pros:

Easy access, real time data capturing, and accountability.

Cons:

The notification of low inventory doesn't work. Tracking tool crib items can be made simpler. Under the old desktop system you were able to see who has items out that need to be returned. This system you have to run a lengthy report and run through several pages to find what tool crib items are overdue.

Warehouse Managment

Pros:

The ease of use and customizable settings are really helpful.

Cons:

Customer support is very bad. Also the system is updated and there is no explanation for these new updates. The lack of not being able to mass edit items can be disheartening.

Great Inventory Program

Pros:

This product has allowed us to keep track of not only our inventory count but also provides reports that allow us to track expiration dates, purchase/receive turn around times, and so much more. It also has the capability for you to build reports that tracks data you deem important. It is easy to use and even easier to set up once you get it going. I love the fact that I can access this program anywhere, including on my phone, in case there is an emergency or someone is confused and calls for help.

Cons:

Overall I really do like this program, there is only one real Con I can think. We had our data imported from an older WASP Inventory program that was having lots of issues before we booted it. While all of the data crossed over, in order to fully utilize the unit function I basically had to delete the product and rebuild it. It would be nice if the program allowed to make unit changes without having to start over.

Wasp Inventory Control

Comments: We are able log in info more accurately and keep a precise control over the inventory we carry.

Pros:

WASP has been a critical tool to the development of our Inventory Department. It has allowed us to plan and execute production more accurately and adequately than before.

Cons:

WASP is fantastic with the exception that it can be slow to load and it also doesn't have the ability to have multiple windows open at the same time. You would have to open multiple different tabs.

Great Inventory System for the Price

Comments: So far we are very please with the software

Pros:

The product was so easy and end user friendly design that even people not familiar with computer, personal that works on the field on daily basis, are capable to use. Can control every item from your warehouses and offices and see what are the daily movement of this product.

Cons:

So far, we are please for the features that the software bring to us

Best Inventory Product on the Market / Only a small way to go to be spot on

Comments: Everything works as it should, and customer service is spot on.

Pros:

I love the customization it allows. This allows us to us the cloud a little bit differently then a normal inventory system is used. Being able to adjust reports to read how they make sense to us.

Cons:

Fraud prevention. This feature doesn't allow you to "undo" mistakes. Whether it be a typo or receiving against the incorrect PO. This should be able to be done by the administrator. As well as whoever admin gives permission to. A simple fix for this would be allowing negative quantities to be entered.
