Pros:

I like the fitness tracking and the ease of use. My account rep Jeremiah Ahart has been phenomenal with question and fast response times. He has made this process very smooth and removed all doubt that this is a powerful upgrade that we are making as a facility to add more value to the market place while delivering solutions that our members will rave about.

Cons:

At the current time I don't have any cons. Only thing I could say is that it doesn't directly integrate with Wix but with the sub links used it should make everything seamless.

Pros:

1. Outstanding customer support (Shoutout [sensitive content hidden]!) 2. Customizable features and powerful tools 3. Branded mobile apps and client portal

Cons:

1. It works well as a "fitness" programming tool, but there's some weakness as a "sports performance" programming tool. 1a: Video analysis tools for sports skill remote coaching would be useful. 2. Nutrition coaching has to be manual. Automating that would be easier.

Alternatives Considered: Acuity Scheduling and Teambuildr

Reasons for Choosing Exercise.com: MindBody is the least user friendly SaaS I've ever used.

Switched From: Mindbody

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: All in-one solution was better than smashing two or three softwares together

CSM Review: [sensitive content hidden] is the MAN!

5.0 last week New

Pros:

I really enjoy the software's interface and dynamic business tools. However, my CSM, [sensitive content hidden], has been the absolute BEST and has truly been invaluable to my experience at Exercise.com. I've learned so much from him with each meeting and he has always been willing to help me whenever I needed him. He's the best!

Cons:

There aren't a lot of apps that I am able to integrate into my platform and the products tools are very limited. I would like to sell products directly on the platform, but it seems as though I would need an additional app, which I am then unable to integrate directly into the web platform.

Comments: Overall the platform is easy to manage and we are happy with our Customer Success Manager.

Pros:

Our customer success manager is very knowledgable and very responsive.

Cons:

It is difficult to set up gift card options for someone to purchase a gift card to give to another person. It would be great to have a feature where anyone can purchase a gift card (without having to create an account), a one time code is automatically generated and can be applied to any product or service.

Nick Leyden exercise.com review

5.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall great, support is great. Just a few small details I would want to see improved

Pros:

Custom app, modifiable, ease of use, customer support

Cons:

App exits out of you phone if you switch to different app during workout. Analytics are hard to capture with integrating ads. Inputing 1RM with clients doesn’t transfer to client measurements. Building workouts is cumbersome as you can’t edit sets and reps for each week and exercise at the same time. Least favorite is that video hosting now cost money and framework changed. Using YouTube was a lot easier.

Good product

4.0 3 months ago

Comments: Overall it’s been good. We’ve been using exercise.com for 3 years now.

Pros:

We love how we can put workouts together and people can access them from all over. The customer service and onboarding process was great too. Easy to set up.

Cons:

The way it does billing is a bit wonky. It’s so hard to change charge dates and is confusing. The only way I have been able to figure it out is to start a new contract and cancel the old one which isn’t a good way to do it.

In with the new

4.0 2 months ago

Comments: Overall, Exercise.com has filled some much needed voids from our previous software. We realize there is no perfect software, but the company seems adaptable and receptive to our needs.

Pros:

The on boarding process was great, and customer service has been wonderful. We love the white label app, and the overall look and feel of the software is good.

Cons:

The reports are great, but very hard to set all the correct data points to get the information needed. I do think the scheduling process could be a little smoother, and the communication side of the software is still a bit antiquated.

Alternatives Considered: Kilo and PushPress

Reasons for Choosing Exercise.com: Poor onboarding, lack of customer service, difficult user interface

Switched From: Pike13

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: Kilo was too expensive, and we liked some of the features Exercise.com had over push press

Great Customer Service

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Customer service has been phenomenal. They are always quick to respond to problems.

Pros:

I like that it is all encompassing for communication, payments, workouts, and client database. It's been a solid platform

Cons:

The PLANS tab could use upgrading to be on par with other apps. Creating workouts is in-efficient currently.

Alternatives Considered: Mindbody

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: It seemed to have the best of what I needed at the time and is more associated with Sports Performance brands than the other apps.

Good software system for business owners

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: Really good. Overall we are happy with the product and what it is able to do for our business.

Pros:

The service reps are friendly and professional, know their stuff, and are pretty quick to respond. [sensitive content hidden] is our rep and does a wonderful job taking care of our needs and guiding us through the software.

Cons:

Overall it's a great product. There are a couple of software issues like bill dates that don't show correctly on our end when we pause members.

Alternatives Considered: Mindbody

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: The team, quality, tools and cost are great.

Exercise.com....Good to go

5.0 6 months ago

Comments: My experience with exercise.com has been very professional and has been an awesome learning experience!

Pros:

So far my experience with exercise.com has been superb. I had an app built and it turned out sweet. My contact with my exercise.com team has been professional. Responses to my many questions have been timely and my POC [sensitive content hidden] has been super patient with my lack of IT knowledge.

Cons:

There was a hick-up on the IT side of the house in the early phases when my app was being built. That situation was quickly resolved and we got back on track.

Alternatives Considered: Teambuildr

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: I had a good consultation. During the consultation all my questions were answered and I learned exercise.com had everything I needed for my business and some.

Staff is top notch!!!

5.0 11 months ago

Comments: Coming from the nightmare that I was previously working with; I'd have to say that Exercise.com has been a blessing.

Pros:

I loved the staff! Abbie and Sage were absolute lifesavers. They worked with me very closely throughout the entire migration process. They answered all of my questions and explained everything in detail. They also provided tips on how to get the most out of the platform. I can't say enough good things about these ladies.

Cons:

There isn't anything that I didn't like about Exercise.com.

Thankful for Sage + The Exercise.com Team

5.0 last year

Comments: Sage has been very helpful during the migration process. It's scary to switch your software but the whole Exercise.com team really steps in and walks you through every step. I can't imagine switching to anything else. We are very excited to get our facility up and running with this all-in-one software!

Pros:

Most excited to have full customization of the platform for our business as well as a fully custom app. Migration team and onboarding team has been very attentive. Very robust and easy to use software so far. Love how modern it is and doesn't look like Windows 99.

Cons:

We are still in migration process. So far I don't have any cons. I feel that the team is very responsive so if there was an issue they would be able to assist or adapt to fit our needs.

Alternatives Considered: Healthie

Reasons for Choosing Exercise.com: Overall issues with mindbody. Software constantly having bugs and issues. Hard to talk to an actual person for help or email replies take multiple days. Software is not user friendly. Can't customize much and need multiple platforms to take care of everything our business needs. With Exercise.com we can have it all in one place and just one app for our clients.

Switched From: Mindbody

Reasons for Switching to Exercise.com: It was a landslide / easy decision. The minute I did a discovery call with healthie I new they were out of the picture and not on the same level as exercise.com

Triple F Knoxville

Comments: Exercise.com helped get out business up and running and for that we are very grateful for the platform and what it allowed us to do. However, as we evolved as a business and our specific needs became more clear, we felt limited and slowed down by the platform in significant ways. We were still able to function well and carry on our business but after learning of wellness living's platform and the innovations in their software compared to exercise.com, it was very clear that it was in the best interest of the business to transition to the new platform.

Pros:

Met a majority of our business needs with client management, booking, staff management, attendance record, billing, etc.

Cons:

Not conducive for simple transactions such as storefront guest checkout, product inventory. Web portal felt disconnected and scattered in terms of work flow. Reporting were limited and not as functional. Automation features were limited and problematic. Interface not as clean as wellness living, which made it difficult to train new staff members. Customer support was good but sometimes difficult to get a call with a representative to provide quick solutions.

Pros:

The customer service, Abbie has been with me every step of the way to answer any and all questions always in a timely fashion !

Cons:

Not loving all of the new updates. Also i wish you could scan people in and i've had a lot of trouble linking my card reader to the Exercise.com. I've never been able to get it to work.

Pros:

Love the customer service, how willing everybody is to help, how friendly, and how easy it is to use the platform. Abbie was AMAZING and always readily available to answer any questions I may have.

Cons:

I would like the video quality to be a bit better and maybe the capability of tracking macros within the app. Everything else is awesome!

Great onboarding process!

5.0 4 months ago

Pros:

Working with [sensitive content hidden] was so seamless. She was able to take the time to listen to our every needs and really develop solutions to the best of her ability. She was well versed in all of the solutions and capabilities of the app. Clearly the best experience was the onboarding process.

Cons:

The build out for the app took over 90 days and was caught in the middle of a process change that effected delivering our app. While I understand that it is not the norm, it was my experience.

Great Product!

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I love how easy the platform is to use for a technical guy like myself. I love the flexibility that it has and the ability to make basically whatever I want and need for my business.

Cons:

It can tend to feel a little robotic and rigid at times which can turn some of my clients off.
