Kangaroo has the amount of customization we were looking for from a loyalty, promotion, and marketing package.
There isn't a proper report for customers that shows everything comprehensively, and it's a bit tricky to navigate.

Easy to use, top tier customer service!
Pros:
The level of service our team gets from Kangaroo is out of this world. From setup to ongoing support, they've answered our questions with patience and ease. [sensitive content hidden] has been of the top examples of best customer service I've seen across all of our vendors.
Cons:
Nothing yet! Some features were "wishlist" and they've already delivered on some and are looking into implementing others.
Kangaroo simple and affordable
Comments: Overall I would recommend it. It helps improve customer loyalty and its straightforward easy to use
Pros:
User friendly interface cost effective and the customer support of the top three pros about Kangaroo
Cons:
The only con I would have to say is that it has limited customization for small businesses.

Comments: So far so good, products are working well and we are looking to expand are use of kangaroo.
Pros:

Comments: Overall, very good. While the system is not without its idiosyncrasies, Tech Support is very helpful in resolving any problems.
Pros:
Working with tech support [sensitive content hidden] to resolve an issue. He was extremely professional and highly competent in resolving our problem in an expeditious manner. He even took the time to call and let us know the problem had been resolved.
Cons:
At times, navigating the product to find information or resolve minor issues can be cumbersome.

Comments: My experience was incredibly positive. The entire team was cooperative and understanding. Thanks to their professionalism and empathy, the experience was smooth and reassuring.

The Loyalty Program we were looking for
Comments: We did everything manually which meant a lot of customers slipped through the cracks. Kangaroo allows us to properly reward our customers and makes that process very streamlined. Another very important aspect fo Kangaroo was that they were willing to work with us although we are a small operation in Belize.
Pros:
Firstly it linked with our POS which was a big plus for us and although this has nothing to do with the actual program, the customer attention for onboarding and setup was great. There are so many options for how guests can be rewarded that you almost get lost, but this allows you to specialize days, weeks, a certain time and so forth allowing for a very customizable service.
Cons:
My biggest concern is the sign-in page for the customer. It is a little too basic for my liking and doesn't properly resize for the screen used. I wish it looked more like a web app that a webpage.

Comments: Meets my integration needs and the customer service has been excellent.
Pros:
I appreciate that the Kangaroo Rewards program integrates with Lightspeed POS and Shopify eCommerce platforms. Also, it connects to Klaviyo for email marketing. I know that I’m not using all that the system has to offer but I’m looking forward to beginning to add reviews and referrals,
Cons:
The integration isn’t seamless for our customers. Sometimes it creates a duplicate account and merging is not as easy as I would like it to be.
Seamless integration with Lightspeed, and Kickstarted our Rewards Club
Comments: Overall our experience with kangaroo has been very good. Their customer service is quick to respond and walk you though issues. It's been a good experience for me!
Pros:
It seamlessly syncs back with Lightspeed Retail and eCom. There are loads of ways to create campaigns for email or SMS and then segment your customers in a campaign by dates, spend, tags, points, purchase history... lots of options!!! And the auto-campaign features are excellent- set up a campaign and make it automated. They have some out of the box, like birthday greetings. These can be attached to campaign that offer discounts or other promos so help to keep you Top of Mind. Kangaroo has helped us initiate and manage our Rewards Club and stay in touch with custoemrs.
Cons:
It's not always intuitive to use. Kangaroo did a UI revamp but to me the older portal which is still accessible is more intuitive. The reporting needs some work such that campaign result metrics can be more easily compared for performance. You'll have to purchase SMS credits and these expire at month end. So you have to plan your campaign spend via SMS.

The new business portal is very powerful, and we agree, it may require a bit of a learning curve to feel comfortable with it. We are also continuously monitoring how customers are using it to refine the experience. Regarding email/sms credits, you don't need to buy recurring credits, you can simply purchase the exact number of credits you need for a given campaign. Our CSR team will be more than happy to walk you through these steps. Your feedback means a lot to us. Thank you for sharing! It's greatly appreciated.
Great program; very receptive to customer suggestions; constantly updating; easy for staff to use!
Comments: We are able to easily and effectively manage our customer loyalty program. Our customers are happy and our staff are happy!
Pros:
- Very easy and intuitive for the staff to use at the sales counter. - They are integrated with Lightspeed Retail. - The development team is very receptive to suggestions and feedback. - We have the ability to have "automatic" discounts and offers for our loyalty members, and the staff don't have to think about it or remember them! - We can send marketing through Kangaroo, which has the potential to eliminate our current email marketing provider - The price is fair
Cons:
- They don't have full access to Lightspeed's API, so there are limitations on the offers that we can offer to our customers automatically. The program has so many offers available, but they can't integrate into Lightspeed yet. - We aren't able to show the customer's current points balance on the sales screen yet (because doing so overwrites the customer's notes) - The user interface in the admin portal is slow(ish) to respond - When updating points balances, there isn't a way to note the reason

I'm glad to announce that based on your requests, these features were added to our core platform: - Access to the full customer loyalty profile from the Sales Screen (including adjustment of points, history of rewards and redemptions, change of consent, etc...) - We also added additional Promo types you asked for including buy over a certain amount and get a free product or a discount. We are different because we action on our customers feedback and yours has been amazing! Thank you!
Great service overall, needs a little tweaking
Comments: I do love the sales and support team, really a top group of people and very helpful. I would personally like less options that work flawlessly over too many options that have some clunky things about them.
Pros:
SMS messages for marketing and the Loyalty integration into Lightspeed has really helped keep our customers in one place for communication. Sales and Support is amazing. [sensitive content hidden] has helped me more times than I can count!
Cons:
With the introduction of eCommerce and the ever changing technology involved to integrate etc, there are some improvements that Kangaroo can do to make this product change from good to great. I love the support staff, they all really are the best but on the back end, it seems like they cannot implement things fast enough and there are a lot of small user friendly type changes that need to be made.

Three years growing our business with Kangaroo
Comments: Excellent tool for our company. Much better than the plastic cards which cost more and customers lose. Or the paper punch cards we used before the plastic.
Pros:
Easy to use, easy to train employees to navigate and log customer points.
Cons:
It's a two step process with input into our POS. It would be nice if it could be integrated.

Simple but effective and slick
Comments:
We are really pleased with the experience and customer service we have, and continue o receive. From start-up and with any ongoing issues, the support has been quick and any issues resolved straight away. How simple the platform is to navigate and use whilst also being able to tailor the look and feel of the app to meet our branding needs.

A significant downside of the loyalty program is that it lacks a cashback promotion feature, which has been crucial for our business. Comments: The draw feature is really amazing. No more handing out raffle tickets or saving sales receipts to do draws. Once you setup a draw in Kangaroo, the system takes care of everything including contacting the winner.
Pros:
Kangaroo rewards has given us the ability to keep in constant contact with our customers. Features such as the referral program, draw option, reminders, and scheduled messaging has been a valuable part of our growth. Kangaroo easily and seamlessly integrates with our Lightspeed POS platform.
Cons:
The only issue I have had with kangaroo is the need to have images for rewards and draws that are only for internal use. It hasn’t affected our satisfaction at all.

Small Business Loyalty Program
Comments: Within a month, we have been able to see ourselves move towards our goals which include customer retention, customer engagement, higher purchase frequency, and order values. Setting up reward programs can be a lengthy and stressful process, however, with Kangaroo, we were able to launch it within 15 days after the introductory meetings.
Pros:
Firstly, I absolutely loved working with the Team. From the initial introductory meetings to the onboarding process, Kangaroo Team was on top of everything. Team was diligent, dedicated to providing us with all the functions necessary, and very efficient. Secondly the setup process was smooth and quick.
Cons:
As a small business, this was a costly investment.
