About Copper
Copper is the easy-to-use CRM that's designed for and recommended by Google. Want to be more organized and productive? Try it now.
I like the simplicity of how it is laid out. It was easy to customize to some of my company's unique requirements.
When I asked about a refund for the past 10 months, they said that I should have cancelled and when I said that I did, they said prove it.

The CRM for sales team on Gsuite
Comments: I've used a lot of CRMs, from Salesforce to Pipedrive. Copper is hands down the best. Easy to use, easy for the team to adopt but still very powerful under the hood.
Pros:
Automated data entry. Pre-populates a lot of my contacts data so adding new leads is a simple point and click. The gmail integration is amazing. I can get a clear picture of my entire relationship from where I work - gmail. Im really starting loving the workflow automations and cool calculated fields I can make now.
Cons:
I'd like to see a better native integration with an email automation software
Alternatives Considered:
Good, well-balanced small business CRM
Pros:
Copper is feature-rich and did everything we wanted it to do to manage sales at a relatively large website. We used Copper to manage leads, convert them to opportunities, track payments, and fulfill our clients' orders. We also set up integrations with Slack and Google Forms, which made it much easier for clients to reach out and for us to track progress and discuss projects in a single tool (Slack).
Cons:
Pricing could be more competitive, but compared to Salesforce, it's probably not bad at all.

Copper Review
Comments: It does the trick and is a good value for the product.
Pros:
It integrates nicely with GSuite. It's also very customizable.
Cons:
Copper APIs could use some improvement. Their APIs are sometimes clunky, takes a bit of trial and error to figure out, and difficult to build on top of compared to similar tools.
Middle Child of the CRM World
Comments: Nothing to get excited about, if it wasn't for the client who insisted on using it, I wouldn't even have thought of it
Pros:
It's inexpensive and the Google integration
Cons:
Everything feels extremely limited with no flexibility or even room for movement
If you have Google, Copper is the crm you need
Comments: We use Cooper to keep in order all the management of activities and projects of the company. What I love about this tool, is that it pairs perfectly with all google products, making it functional and perfect for keeping emails, calendar, alerts and more in order and up to date.
Pros:
The platform allows you to create a profile for each client, obtaining data not only from Gmail, but also from google. It also allows to make calls from the profile of each client, as well as having all the history of conversations, appointments, past and future. We can also create flows of activities easy to work with the drag and drop option.
Cons:
The process of integrating other applications, which are not associated with google, was difficult for us, but customer service knew how to guide us to solve it. Its learning curve can be high, due to its overwhelming design, maybe if they improve its interface, it would be friendlier to use.
Operations Coordinator Opinion
Comments: We had a very good experience but we quit using it because of the price. It was too much for our needs. Though the features were amazing to have.
Pros:
The integration with gmail is great. In our company we use google accounts, so using Copper extension; the CRM automatically update your contacts with the emails you send. It is very easy to maintain the leads updated.
Cons:
The pricing was quite expensive. The basic plan is not good enough so you need at least the mid tier plan which may be expensive if you don't want to expend too much money. Sometimes they have discounts but they only last a few months.

Keep it Simple Stupid
Pros:
Simple Easy to use Integrates with Email Minimalistic yet still feature heavy Provides actionable sales process data
Cons:
Which it dealt with duplication a little bit better
Fabulous CRM product for Gmail users
Comments:
Easy to trial product. Sales support team was very helpful. Not too pushy.
Software has exceed my expectations.
Pros:
Easy to set up and use, great UI. The tight integration with Gmail is really the killer feature for us.
Cons:
If you accidentally delete records they cannot be recovered. Not good if you accidentally delete all your contacts and have not done a manual back up ..
I have Increasing my efficiency and business organization
Comments: Automating tasks has greatly improved my efficiency and I am able to set up custom reminders and workflows to ensure that no sales opportunity is missed with this I have been able to stay organized and not miss any important opportunity.
Pros:
What I like the most about this platform is that it has an incredible integration with Google applications. As a business that uses Google Workspace for our daily operations, having a CRM that automatically syncs with Gmail and other Google tools is really a huge benefit and that's why I don't have to worry about manually entering every interaction with my customers as with this platform I can automatically record all emails, meetings and tasks in the corresponding contact.
Cons:
While the system offers a wide variety of pre-defined reports and data export, I would like the ability to customize the reports a lot more to my needs and while I can get the essential information I need, sometimes I would like more customization options and Flexibility in data presentation.
Highly recommended
Pros:
Easy to use, great customer support, I would recommend this for any sales business
Cons:
I sue this on a daily basis and have become very fond of the product. I cant think of any cons about this CRM

Copper is helping me keep track of my customers
Comments: Overall it has been helpful to keep track of my contacts. I wish that there were more features for the lower price point, like marketing and email features.
Pros:
I like that it syncs to my Gmail and automatically goes back through 1 year of communication to add all those emails to my connections with my contacts. The Gmail extension makes it super easy to add new contacts to my CRM and keep track of our conversations. It also makes it easy to keep track of leads and opportunities and what stage they are at. The Task function is nice how it adds to-do items to my calendar and sends me reminders. That is helpful so I don't forget to do things daily.
Cons:
It's pretty expensive for only one user and many of the best features of it are only available for the higher pay level. Also, it's doable to use from Gmail on a phone but not easy. I wish the app extension worked better.
Alternatives Considered:
Great interface and easy to integrate with other software
Pros:
The UI is very easy to use and I like the fact that it tracks emails and you can see when customers open the emails. I like that you can log notes and also that it integrates with PandaDoc and MailChimp.
Cons:
I feel like the speed of the sync could be improved.
Too Glitchy and Poor Support.
Comments: Let me be clear, this product has great potential, and is almost good enough. But after multiple bad experiences with support, and an apparently stagnated development calendar, and very serious glitches, I suggest people stay away for a few years till this software can grow up a little.
Pros:
What I like is the idea. This should be a great software. But the key features it lacks and the DISMAL support team make it not worth the money.
Cons:
1. Support is terrible. They use zendesk for their support and the people reading the support tickets seem to struggle with helping. Here are a few examples: a: We changed our domain name. All we needed to do was update our usernames to have the new domain on them. THEY COULD NOT DO THIS. I had to request this change - literally just updating our email addresses - 3 TIMES before somebody finally said it could be done. The first two people just said that it was impossible. The third person said it was do-able but it required adding additional users, and deleting old users, which unassigned all the work. Is it that hard to update a database? b. When one user made changes to the opportunity stages, we lost several opportunities even though the software claimed that opportunities would just be moved to adjacent stages. What's the point of sales software that loses track of opportunities?? When I reached out to support they said: "Unfortunately, there is no way for us to recover any deleted records in your account if this is already been accidentally or intentionally deleted by someone. [in other words, this is all your fault, not ours] We recommend exporting your opportunities/records weekly so you have a fresh back up when you need." Again, what's the point of using your software if we are supposed to keep the data on our side and normal use of your software causes it to break? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. 2. Reporting is totally sales focused and doesn't help at all with regular task and project management. There is no way to see which team members are doing their work, or to generate reports on average time spent on tasks. Some valuable KPI data is not available in the sales related reports, either. Like how about we get a report to show the average time to close a lead? There is so much valuable data that we simply can't access. 3. Messy messy messy. The screen is just jammed packed with data, much of it useless, and it's difficult to find the data you want. Accordions inside of tabs inside of pop-ups? Really? Is that the best way to access the tasks associated with a client? It shouldn't take 3-4 clicks to get to a teeny tiny truncated accordion window of information. We should be able to see and sort through data related to a client within the main window. Bad design.
Copper Has Failed
Comments: A CRM is a great thing, but Copper has not delivered! The software is unreliable, the customer service has fallen short. What we were promised is not what we have received. It is too bad, because I love a lot of the features.
Pros:
It is easy to use, once you get the hang of it. Good customization. Phone App. Copper integrates with all things Google.
Cons:
The Software isn't solid! In a matter of 6 weeks the CRM has had 2 major malfunctions, called "bugs" according to Copper support staff. 1)People Records Malfunction - I am the admin of this software and the person responsible for uploading 28 years of Legacy Data (all of our customer records). In attempting to update some of the outdated contact info changing phone numbers and addresses, emails etc. which I populated into Copper from various spreadsheets, work order lists, Quick Book records, and email contact lists. The "People" records began to malfunction; phone numbers literally began jumping around. Example, I would open someone's customer's record and another customers number would populate, I would end up calling the wrong customer. Copper engineers have been "working" on this for a month, still no fix. 2.) Opportunity Pipeline Malfunction - Imports are mapping to the wrong Pipeline. I have hundreds of business opportunity records, Google sheet based spreadsheets, that I am attempting to import (bulk) thousands of cells of data to the CRM, despite properly mapping the import (correct methods on my part) this crucial business information imports to the wrong pipeline & tons of data is lost in the process. This is huge, if you can't import and map your customers spreadsheet records (bulk) you have to hand enter each record. What should take 5 mins will take days/weeks/months! This has been going on for over a week now, and no one at Copper seems to care.

Copper for Small Business
Comments: I like Copper, it is easy to use and integrated with Gmail. Cloud base allows use any place in the world. Accounts and analysts (people who do nothing but watch what I do) love looking at my copper but hate putting information in system.
Pros:
1. Organizes leads, people, and anything for sales. 2. sends reminder emails about presentation or phone call. 3. cloud based, can be done anywhere 4. Task managment 5. easy input with enough infomration on clients. Sometimes find info on leads online.
Cons:
1. Can't same attachments for emails. 2. Does not integrate with LinkedIn (App for LinkedIn mixing is terrible). 3. Not enough time to use because focoused on other things for small busines.
G-Suite compatible single-purpose CRM for small businesses
Comments: Copper is strong enough to be helpful and is easy enough for everybody to utilise. It is addressing the requirement to provide details about each of our connections and classify them into various cohorts to be a suitable fit for our events. Regular use of copper surely improves our company's performance. I frequently utilise the mobile app to contact a client when I'm out of the office. I don't have to add contacts on my phone, which is nice.
Pros:
Because Copper is user-friendly, teams can easily create enduring CRM habits and practices. It has a minimal UI and is lightweight and quick. It seamlessly connects with the other technologies we use internally, allowing us to automate a variety of tedious manual operations that were previously required. Additionally, it records the ways in which customers discover our company, and I use that information to decide how best to spend our advertising budget. This is an excellent sales tool for small businesses.
Cons:
I wish it were simple to trace customer SMS messages. It would be convenient if all customer texts could be forwarded to this location in some way. I don't like that we don't get analytics or the opportunity to plan a follow-up based on the recipient's activity, etc. This would completely alter the situation for copper. Also, there have been a few instances where the connection between Copper and Google Data Studio stopped operating for a week or two, which affected our internal procedures.
Easy-to-use CRM
Comments: Copper works amazingly well for small & mid-size business organizations using Google Workplace, Gmail & other Google apps.It is a strong CRM solution which is simple & logical to use. Recording & accessing sales data is largely simplified with Copper. You get the freedom to integrate extensions/ add-ons from different vendors/ customers & log sales data in one place. The interface is easy-to understand and use, Copper offers a handy sidebar to search for tasks, track emails, business opportunities, prospective leads and companies.
Pros:
The best feature of Copper is that it adapts the look & feel of Google apps. Being a regular user of Google Workplace & Gmail, it has resolved many of our concerns. Copper integrates directly into Gmail so we don't have to leave our inbox every time to seek its access. This helps us in saving time and getting more work done. Additionally, Copper is highly incremental in organizing data with least time and effort. It offers an excellent import feature for the mass upload of our client data not just from MS Excel but also from the other platforms like Salesforce & LinkedIn. Copper serves as a personal assistant for suggesting potential leads.
Cons:
Copper goes dysfunctional at times while working with the Google apps. Importing data from other sources is a tedious and time-taking task all together. Loading time lags and search errors are frequent. Sometimes, extracting the relevant data is irksome via filters and it tends to impede our reporting process in the organization.
A great CRM for a small to mid-sized company
Comments: Copper has been a great experience overall. Their Customer Success Managers are the most helpful, prompt and friendly people whenever there's a hiccup with Copper. The price per user is a bit expensive
Pros:
What I like most about Copper is its built-in connectivity to all things Google. Auto-logging calendared events, easily adding files to records from our Google Drive, using the Copper add-on to easily push data out to Google Sheets and then Google Data Studio...it's great.
Cons:
I believe Copper needs to focus on tightening up existing features before rolling out new features to compete with other platforms. There's a delicate balance between building new things and maintaining what already exists and I feel that sometimes their focus is too dedicated towards building new.

Flexiable and Easy to Use
Comments: We've been able to create multiple ticketeing systems and pipelines to track ROI on new promotions and programs.
Pros:
The flexibility the software offers through customization and its automated workflows make both your job as an admin, and your everyday user's lives so much easier. It's also so incredibly easy to learn even on the higher technical end it isn't challenging.
Cons:
A number of the support articles are very outdated, especially in regards to the various integrations you can make, but reaching out to support usually fixes this.
Not that Great
Comments: This is sold as limiting data entry, and it does a little. Maybe more once we get very familiar and are not trying to back track so that we can just use one system and not two while we get the other set up. I have to say that the OnBoarding that they provide is very good, and I like that they are able to provide that. I think some of the pitfalls are simply because it is web hosted and that comes with its own assortment of issues.
Pros:
I like that I (theoretically) can see emails that were sent to a client even if I was not included, it makes it more helpful when I am trying to find information, or figure out what the status of a client is. The automated tasks are useful if you do them right.
Cons:
It is constantly syncing and if you are a fast typer it will delete what you have written while it was syncing sometimes. That is incredibly frustrating. It's also not a totally intuitive system, it is obviously still in its early stages and therefore a little clunky. Also, if you are not an admin you have basically no power to add things that you might need in a sort of random situation. I have to go to my admin all the time to add things that I need, and maybe it is only for one client, but I need that field or option or automated task and I am not allowed to add it myself. You are unable to view more than one client in the small side bar of an "opportunity", and you are unable to see their names when just looking at the opportunity. Also the terms that they use are very salesy, and not very customizable or people oriented. The customization of how you view things also seems very limited. I like being able to view all my contacts by last name, that isn't really easily possible with this. It's just an adjustment but it would be a lot better for me if it was not something that I had to adjust to. It is web hosted so if you are not somewhere with wifi or data you can't access anything.

OK but Deceptive Contract/Billing Terms
Comments: Overall experience was OK until we needed more robust marketing automation, which Copper just couldn't do. Our biggest issue was with their deceptive and poorly worded TOS. They try to require you to cancel 30 days IN ADVANCE of the renewal date, but send no notification of that at that point, nor do the poorly written terms clearly state that. We attempted to cancel prior to the renewal date and were told it was too late. Find me another SaaS product that attempts to require 30-day advance notice of cancellation. Extremely poor customer service in this respect. They are not to be trusted and we would never recommend Copper to anyone.
Pros:
The GMail integration provided an effective way to manage and track interactions
Cons:
There is virtually not internal reporting functionality or ability to drill down within the available reports to understand what's happening.
Small business owner review of Copper/Prosperworks after using it one year
Comments: In general we like it. It does the basics, database of people and companies with contact info, notes, email tracking, bulk email sending. As I said we don't use the sales bits or the pipeline functionality (pipelines are tasks made up of a series of steps which can be assigned). We just use it as a basic CRM. It works with Google Contacts, GMail and Calendar so you become a Google baby. You do have to pay for G Suite, it allows you to use your own domain and emails which is fine. We looked at a lot of CRMs (both free and expensive) and found this worked very well for the price. They still lack a few odd little things though, no birthdays (although you can do that through Google Contacts + Calendar) and it default sort people by their first names. We upgraded to the medium version so we could add lots of user columns to people. Two thumbs up.
Pros:
Relatively inexpensive. Straight forward to use. Customer support is excellent. It has extensions to a good pool of add-ons. It uses pre-existing things like Google Calendar rather than re-inventing them.
Cons:
It sits on Google's G Suite so you have to buy that also. It has extensions to things you have to pay for (versus free ones). Has some quirks (below). Has a lot of sales stuff (projections, staff etc) we do not need.
Loved my experience
Comments: Copper was easy to use and get started with. Customer service was not good. Lots of minor feature additions would've made a big impact, but we also didn't get much support so many we just weren't optimizing the product.
Pros:
Copper was easy to use and get started with. It was great having it as a way to manage accounts and coordinate across my team and major step up from our previous tool.
Cons:
Customer service was not good. Lots of minor feature additions would've made a big impact, but we also didn't get much support so many we just weren't optimizing the product.
Copper: The CRM tool for Google G Suite users
Comments: Lead management with a dashboard instead of searching in my mailbox for important mails.
Pros:
The seamless integration with Google G Suite makes this tool a terrific CRM tool. Now that Copper also has add a Project Management tool makes it even more beautiful.
Cons:
I don't know any cons for Copper. I don't have any negative experiences so far for this Google G Suite CRM tool.
Alternatives Considered:
Copper is a great tool for the office.
Comments: We love Copper and use it daily. Great CRM program.
Pros:
We like the ease of use for this program as we are sales reps and need to have names for all our customers along with tracking emails and notes. We also have the apps on phones for those out in the field.
Cons:
I only really wish there was a way to easily merge contacts.
