About Quickbooks Online
QuickBooks Online is a small business accounting software and app that allows you to manage your business anywhere, anytime.
Everything is easy to use, the bank integration feature is super helpful, and I can do it on any computer that has internet.
When you first start using the app it can be irritating and tricky.

Quickbooks Online
Comments: We are maintaining all of our accounts record in Quickbooks online , From staff ledgers , Accounts receivables, accounts Payable. It is pretty good software overall for small medium enterprises.
Pros:
The interface is user friendly, web based can be accessed from anywhere , there are few apps can be integrated (it has its own pros and cons however it was time saving invoicing part but if you make some changes it would not communicate properly
Cons:
Multicurrency options while receiving payment it is very difficult if base currency of client is different from the currency payment has been received it would not accept it we have to use Journal entry and control Account to record the receipt after recording this the currency rates is being taken from invoice and not from receipt.

Favours Customers Committing Fraud
Pros:
We are a motel. We took a payment by using the quickbooks card processing option. The customer without cause decided to request a chargeback from the bank, presumably indicating that they didnt recognize the charge on their account. Quickbooks paid out and fined us $25 for costs. We received an email with suggestions for reducing the chances of this occurring - This was useless. The customer signed a registration document. We verified her ID and we have her on video in the reception. Yet she still got a full refund and we get dinged with fees for the courtesy of her staying here for free. Your system supports criminals.

Pretty decent accounting software with a good price point
Comments: I use Quickbooks on a daily basis for invoicing clients, bank reconcilliation as well as looking at the various reports. I have customised the reports to show the time period and categories that are useful for our business.
Pros:
Intergrates with other accountantss practice software seemlessly. Easy to set up and get started.
Cons:
You can not create a credit note from an invoice which would be useful instead you need to start from a blank document and type in the invoice information.

The top-rated accounting program for SMBs!
Comments: Since I'm also an accountant and bookkeeper for a few other small firms, I use it for their payroll and financial records as well. Regularly, I utilize the whole software for my company's payroll, time tracking, and accounting needs. To streamline accounting, I recommend that all of my customers switch to QuickBooks.
Pros:
All of our financial records, including bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and budgeting, are maintained in QuickBooks Online. The program's principal user is me, but I've also sent copies to the company's grant writer, accountant, treasurer, and auditor.
Cons:
Cleaning up the books is a fantastic idea in theory, but the execution fell well short of expectations. It would have been better if they had questioned my role in the organization more thoroughly before making the changes.

Alternatives Considered:
It mostly does with you need with only minor annoyances
Comments: Overall, it's a great product to create and send invoices, manage the bookkeeping and accounting for the company, and run payroll. As long as we don't ask it to talk to other apps, it does a pretty good job.
Pros:
The ability to access my company books from anywhere I can connect to the internet is very valuable. It's easy to invite the bookkeeper and the tax preparer to access the company books, and it's great to be able to give them access without having to create them log-ins like other staff.
Cons:
Most of the integration features don't work well. QBO as an independent accounting product works very well, and the bank feed connection works fairly well. Every other integration (like Quickbooks Time) is buggy and fails occasionally causing extra work to fix duplicates and add missing entries.

Users may also value the convenience of having access to the software from any location with an internet connection.
Pros:
The Invoicing, Because it helpa users make invoices that increase professionalism, QuickBooks Online provides editable invoice templates, which is a huge help. Along with the ability for users can automate payment reminders and create recurring bills.
Cons:
There are reports online that some users have had problems with the software's customer service. While some customers say they have had good experiences with customer service, others say it can be difficult to get quick and efficient help when they run into problems with the software.

Revolutionize Your Business Finances with Quickbooks Online
Comments: Overall, I would highly recommend QuickBooks Online to other companies looking for an easy-to-use and comprehensive financial management software. While it may be a bit pricey, the features and benefits offered by the software are well worth the investment.
Pros:
As an admin user of QuickBooks Online, I have found the software to be a great asset to our company. The platform offers a wide range of features that have helped us to manage our financial operations effectively. One of the key advantages of QuickBooks Online is its ease of use. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for even non-accountants to navigate and manage financial data. One of the most useful features of QuickBooks Online is the ability to manage and track expenses. With this software, we can easily upload receipts and invoices, track expenses by category, and create expense reports for our team. This feature has saved us a lot of time and hassle, as we no longer have to manually track expenses or enter data into spreadsheets.QuickBooks Online also offers a variety of financial reporting options, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. These reports have helped us to better understand our financial situation, identify trends, and make informed decisions about our business.
Cons:
However, there are a few drawbacks to QuickBooks Online. The pricing plans can be somewhat expensive, especially for small businesses or startups. Additionally, some features that are available in the desktop version of QuickBooks are not available in the online version, which can be frustrating for some users.

Pros:
Quickbooks is user friendly and perfect for small businesses. The features such as, receipting, invoicing, payroll and reporting were easy to navigate and use. I especially liked that it was cloud-based and can be accessed anywhere.
Cons:
What I liked least about quickbooks, is that advanced features were expensive to acquire.

QuickBooks Online has changed my life
Comments: QBO has been life-changing for me and my practice. I have clients all over the country, without QBO is could not have grown my business at the same rate.
Pros:
I love the QBO eco-system. The eco-system allows me to offer more resources and solutions to my clients. QBO doesn't have to do it all for all industries, it just has to partner with 3rd party app developers that are specialists in their industries.
Cons:
There is a lack of communication from Intuit / QuickBooks. For example, if a user can't access their company file, they don't know if it's a QuickBooks issue, an internet issue, a browser issue or user error. I wish QuickBooks would send an email that says QBO is down for an hour. And if a function is not working, let us know, keep us informed of progress made.

Great where fits - might leave you looking for more
Comments: Moved from QB Desktop. Love having access where-ever and multiple people able to access it. QBO is much less feature rich than QBD. But, with QBD, you have to either log into a server, or remote desktop. It's stuck in the 90's. So, to make it even work, we had to get a plugin to manage our inventory and orders. If QB Desktop version would move online, it would definitely be a 30 year leap back to the present.
Pros:
Quickbooks is easy to use, widely known, and priced affordably. Good for a small business. Having it online was a necessity. Having it link to bank accounts so smoothly is nice.
Cons:
If it's not the QB way, you have NO WAY. They are not interested in helping with any needs of YOUR business. If your business doesn't fit into THEIR way, too bad. But, overall, they have a good program that fits most of your business needs. i.e. If you want sales orders and inventory management - you might as well be asking a rock. i.e. If you want to use your own credit card processor, they will force extra steps on you and take away features and functionality.

Very user friendly and has everything in one place
Comments: My overall experience has been a great experience. I have been using it for years.
Pros:
Quickbooks Online is very easy to use and has everything you need in one place. It keeps the flow of the business finances running smoothly. The invoicing, tracking of assets and expenses, providing reports, etc are all extremely easy to use and find and connect in a very simple way.
Cons:
There is nothing at this time that I like least about this software. It is much better than most bookkeeping programs I have used.

I like how easily reports can be customized
Comments: The system is simple to learn and utilize. Helps me prepare for tax season all year long so that I don't have to worry about anything. An emphasis is placed on UI and user experience. It's clear to see that they've done so. Because we don't utilize all of the tools, there might be a lot of clutter in our workspaces.
Pros:
In order to handle my clients' businesses, I use Quickbooks Online, a powerful accounting program. In addition to project accounting, we can handle receivables and payables, set up rules for posting to cut down on time for posting (which equals cheaper accounting costs!), and quickly produce useful reports with this software.
Cons:
I'd want to be able to create bespoke purchase orders with additional signatures, but I'm not able to do so at the moment. The ability to perform genuine bank reconciliations from within the program would be an added bonus. The process of comparing receipts to invoices is likewise time-consuming.

Pros:
I don’t think we would be able to run our business without QuickBooks. This software has allowed us to handle all aspects of accounting in-house. The best part is the help section which contains answers to just about any accounting questions we have ever run into.
Cons:
There’s a lot of features we don’t use that seem to be in the way while navigating through the program.

Excellent Software if you have help
Comments: I had a live hate relationship with quickbooks because while it was easy to use it can get messy quite quickly due incorrect categorization. That changed when I hired a bookkeeper to look over my books on a monthly basis.
Pros:
Love quickbooks online well because it is online which means I can do my business from anywhere and anytime. Relatively easy to set up and has video tutorials. Love that you can set up lots of subcategories which makes comparing information from different categories easy and more meaningful. Love the new tags feature!!! I wholesale so I can see which wholesale reps are performing the best. Makes bookkeeping and tax paying easy if everything is setup correctly and accounts are reconciled correctly. Love the various reports you can pull from it. Profit and loss monthly, quarterly, annually. Love how easy it is to create invoices and the option to get paid within quickbooks!! No more sending an invoice and then asking for a separate PayPal or square payment.
Cons:
Categorizing some income & expenses can be tricky at times which can mess the books up and make you want to tear your hair out. May Need a quickbooks bookkeeper to keep your books clean or will most likely mess it up.

Perfect for small business
Comments: Quickbooks is great because I don't have a pile of receipts to type in. I can upload my transactions directly from my bank and code them as they are uploaded. I use it for tracking income and expenses, sending invoices and running reports. I love the payroll function which saves me money because I don't have to pay the accountant to file my tax documents.
Pros:
I like being able to use the online service where I can log in anywhere I have internet access. This gives me the option to work remotely.
Cons:
The banking function is good, but it takes several days to sync up to my online banking balance (doesn't show charges until they are posting, and doesnt download pending ones)

I LOVED THE OLDER VERSION. New version, not so much. So we switched.
Pros:
Biggest Pro: This is built for robust accounting. The older version of Quickbooks online for Mac included an app. That app was key because the browser version often took a long time to load. I could get in, out , and be done in minutes. There was even a time tracking technology that was integrated at the time that was included in the package for free. It was great... and then it all changed.
Cons:
I don't love the new browser only experience. It wasn't as seamless as the app. The time tracking is now $$$.

Makes my job a ton easier
Comments: I like Quickbooks. The company name does make sense... you do everything quickly lol. I haven't had a single issue other than the invoicing problem. I did spend more than enough time with their customer service which was a pain in the butt but the rep was really friendly and helped me get it sorted out. If I could recommend Quickbooks to a new or seasoned business owner, I definitely will! It looks expensive and hard to learn but honestly, it's much easier to navigate than it looks!
Pros:
I was hesitant at first since I didn't want to go the everything electronic route. My wife was doing all of the tax stuff so I just gave her the okay and made the purchase. I now do everything minus invoicing through Quickbooks. Everything is streamlined for me and I realized how much time I was truly losing by doing everything through Excel and calculating by hand. My wow moment was watching my time being cut in half literally by just snapping a photo of a receipt after connecting my bank account then adding details on the purchase... that's it!
Cons:
Now... the invoicing part I'm just not fond of. There was an error with a payment and Quickbooks kept kicking back a payment a client had made. I ended up just going through Paypal Business and setting up my invoices through there and attached my Paypal account to Quickbooks to make things easier on myself. If invoicing was different, I would be 100% with Quickbooks.

QBO is excellent for non-profit except for a few limitations
Comments: It is the best for small size non-profits as long as one can find an away to produce end of year donation tax statements
Pros:
If you know how to setup the chart of accounts including using Locations and Classes you can fairly run non-profit accounting very smoothly. Data entry is simple. Reporting is fairly good. Import and export functions are very good.
Cons:
There are serious limitations with issuing end of year donation statements. One can't filter out sales and can't customize the statement text to meet regulations. The statements are very inflexible.

A little outdated, but still reliable software workhorse
Comments: There's not much I can say in addition to what I've said in the above sections. I've been using QuickBooks for around 10 years, both for my own business as well as when working for other small businesses in the past, and it's been both a joy and a pain in the butt at times. Overall, I'd still highly recommend QuickBooks as the go-to software for most businesses, because it's just so versatile and has a lot of great features. However, I'd highly recommend watching a few videos or even taking a class or two before using some of the more complex features. Otherwise, you're bound to make one small mistake that acts like a parasitic vine, weaving and entangling its way into the rest of your account features, and becoming a bit of pain to unravel.
Pros:
Because QuickBooks has been around for so long, there are tons of resources for information regarding how to use the software most effectively, and how to troubleshoot particularly strange issues that may arise. I appreciate that QuickBooks can be used for a business of almost any size, whether you're running a small business from home, or a multi-million dollar per year construction company. There are plenty of options for things like inventory management, accounts payable/receivable, billing/invoicing, tax scheduling, etc. The options are nearly endless, and (most) of them are reasonable easy to figure out with a little experience and know-how.
Cons:
Because QuickBooks was created so long ago, some of their features continually fall behind the times. They're always just one step behind technological innovation, and their software isn't always the most user-friendly. I think it may be a symptom of the software being designed by tax-minded individuals, who tend to think wildly differently from the majority of people who are going to use this software. Some of the features are difficult to find or use, the user-interface is a bit clunky, the software can be a bit slow at times, and there's a steep learning curve for some of the more advanced features.

Great for bookkeepers
Comments: Overall our experience is great. I do think it's a little expensive for a small company. It has a lot of features that we spend the extra money for ease of use. I haven't had any issues calling tech support and we are very satisfied.
Pros:
Quickbooks is super easy to use. All of our banking and savings accounts are attached as well as our business credit cards. I love the app feature and use a couple of the apps to assist, especially during tax time. We use classes for everything and it's so great to get a snapshot of each events profits and losses.
Cons:
I wish that I could have multiple companies on one account. I have a few different small businesses that we run and it's not cost effective to have a quickbooks account for really small companies. I have found other free software programs that mimic quickbooks to manage those accounts.

Lesser of two evils
Pros:
I am not an accounting professional but with a basic understanding of accounting principal, I have been able to use this software to organize my company for the last 10 years. I have made the switch in 2014 to the online version of it. It lets me to use the software anywhere including mobile device and I have been very happy with all the updates Intuit has been making last 3-4 years.
Cons:
Everything about customer service. As a long time user, I know the infamous reputation of Intuit at every level. This is one of the SO MANY experiences I had: I had one issue that persisted since 2014. It was a simple issue, but it also caused me some great inconvenience. So I had been contacting them every now and then and the issue was not resolved until recently in 2018. It turned out to be it was as simple as clearing cache. However, every time I called, I had to explain the situation as if it's never been recorded, follow their instruction to do the troubleshooting, then they were puzzled how that happened, and then say that 'someone' will follow up. And THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I got so fed up and had to be on the phone more than 4 hours to a point that the issue was escalated to the presidents' office. I was told that there was a glitch in the system that I had to move to a new account. As they moved my data to a new account, I found out that it won't move credit card or social security info. As I was preparing for the final move, I realized that they have been charging me double. I requested to refund or extend the membership, but they did it again - made me wait for 1-2 hours, told me that I'll speak to a floor manager, then just transfer to another dpt- ALL THE TACTICS TO DISCOURAGE TO find the solution for the issue. Finally, they 'concluded' not to extend the membership with an excused made up they cannot provide in written permission. NEVER HAD SUCH BAD EXPERIENCE.

Leaving After 15 Years Of Use
Comments: I have been using Quickbooks for 15 years and honestly it was all great up until about a year ago. And the only reason I kept using Quickbooks was because I didn't feel like transferring all my data to another platform and the mobile app. However, now the mobile app doesn't even work so I never use it, I am having to talk to a representative every other time I use Quickbooks because something else is wrong, and now not only is the monthly fee going up again, I am now getting charged more for transaction processing, and there are more and more fees for just moving money around. Thankfully there is WaveApps and they are amazing. I have used them a LOT over the past year for my other businesses and they are amazing with excellent customer service and they are easy to get in touch with as well. The best part is they don't have a monthly subscription fee and their transaction processing fees are more reasonable. With an option like that, and now their website is mobile friendly, I don't see how it makes sense to keep with Quickbooks.
Pros:
I love that I can manage my books, invoices, payments, etc. from any device. I loved that in theory everything was connected and easy to use (more on this in the cons), I love the wide support and the massive community that uses Quickbooks so it was possible to find help on issues I had (not easy, but possible). Plus, I had been using them for so long it was all familiar.
Cons:
- The customer service is terrible (I've had 1 good rep out of the 10-20 I've had to talk to) - The app hardly works at all for me anymore, its always crashing, glitching, freezing, etc. - The connections barely work and need fixing all the time - The website is incredibly slow and also has a lot of bugs - By far the worst for me has been the Quickbooks Cash and merchant services. Fees have been going up, Quickbooks cash has been VERY slow and buggy, transfers have taken a week or more to process, customer service with that is TERRIBLE, just overall a very bad experience. - Now monthly fees are going up yet again - I've been getting charged more and more fees for moving money or even just trying to refund someone
